The Transition to New Covenant is a pivotal concept in the Bible, marking a significant shift from the old covenant established with the Israelites to a new covenant founded on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. As prophesied by Jeremiah, this new covenant would be written on the hearts of God's people, enabling them to know and follow Him intimately (Jeremiah 31:33). Through the sacrifice of Jesus, the old covenant's limitations were transcended, and a new era of redemption and relationship with God was ushered in, as expressed by the apostle Paul in Hebrews 8:13 and 2 Corinthians 3:6, where he contrasts the old covenant with the new covenant of the Spirit.
