Genesis 19:19. Behold, now, Thy servant hath found favor in Thy sight, and Thou hast magnified Thy loving kindness which Thou hast showed unto me in saving my life.

2 Samuel 7:18; 2 Samuel 7:22; 2 Samuel 7:25-26. Who am I, O Lord, and what is my house, that Thou hast brought me thus far? Thou art great, O Lord; there is none like Thee, neither is there any God besides Thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears. And now, O Lord, the word that Thou hast spoken concerning Thy servant and concerning his house, confirm Thou it for ever, and do as Thou hast spoken; and let Thy name be magnified for ever.

Job 33:27-28. I have sinned and perverted that which was right, and He hath not requited it unto me. He hath redeemed my soul from going into the pit, and my life shall behold the light.

Psalms 3:3-5. Thou, O Lord, art a shield about me; my glory, and the lifter up of my head. I cry unto the Lord with my voice, and He answers me out of His holy hill. I laid me down, and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustaineth me.

Psalms 4:1; Psalms 4:6-8. Thou hast set me at large when I was in distress. Many there be that say, “Who will show us any good?” Lord, lift Thou up the light of Thy countenance upon us. Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than is theirs when their com and wine are increased. In peace will I both lay me down and sleep; for Thou, Lord, makest me to dwell alone in safety.

Psalms 9:1-2; Psalms 9:4. I will praise Thee, O Lord, with my whole heart: I will show forth all Thy marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in Thee, I will sing praise to Thy name, O Thou Most High. For Thou hast maintained my right and my cause: Thou art seated on the throne Judging righteously.

Psalms 16:2; Psalms 16:5-11. The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup—my lot continually. The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage. I will bless the Lord, who hath given me counsel; yea, my heart instructeth me in the night seasons. I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad. For Thou wilt not leave my soul to the grave. Thou wilt show me the path of life, in Thy presence is fullness of joy. In Thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Psalms 23:4-5. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me: Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies. Thou hast anointed my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Psalms 30:2-3; Psalms 30:8; Psalms 30:10-12. O Lord my God, I cried unto Thee, and Thou hast healed me. O Lord, Thou hast brought up my soul from the grave, Thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. I cried unto Thee, O Lord, and unto the Lord I made supplication: “Hear, O Lord, and have mercy upon me. Lord, be Thou my helper.” Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing, Thou hast girded me with gladness; to the end that I may sing praise to Thee and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto Thee for ever.

Psalms 31:5; Psalms 31:7-8. Into thy hand I commend my spirit; Thou hast redeemed me, O Lord God of truth. I will be glad and rejoice in Thy loving kindness; for Thou hast seen my affliction, Thou hast known my soul in adversities. Thou hast set my feet in a large place.

Psalms 31:19-22. Oh, how great is Thy goodness which Thou hast laid up for them that fear Thee, which Thou hast wrought for them that take refuge in Thee before the sons of men. In the covert of Thy presence Thou wilt hide them. Thou wilt keep them secretly. Blessed be the Lord, for He hath showed me His marvelous loving kindness. Thou didst hear the voice of my supplications when I cried unto Thee.

Psalms 40:5. Many, O Lord my God, are Thy wonderful works which Thou hast done, and Thy thoughts which are to us-ward. There is none to be compared to Thee. Were I to declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

Psalms 56:11-13. In God have I put my trust, I will not be afraid. What can man do unto me? Thy vows are upon me, O God; I will render thank- offerings unto Thee. For Thou hast delivered my soul from death, and my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living.

Psalms 59:16-17. I will sing of Thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of Thy loving kindness in the morning. For Thou hast been my high tower, and a refuge in the day of my distress. Unto Thee, O my strength, will I sing praises; for God is my high tower, the God of my mercy.

Psalms 63:1; Psalms 63:3-8. O God, Thou art my God; I will seek Thee earnestly. My soul thirsteth for Thee, my flesh longeth for Thee, in a dry and weary land where no water is. Because Thy loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise Thee. So will I bless Thee while I live, I will lift up my hands in Thy name. My soul shall be satisfied and my mouth shall praise Thee with joyful lips, when I remember Thee upon my bed, and meditate on Thee in the night watches. For Thou hast been my help, and in the shadow of Thy wings will I rejoice. My soul followeth hard after Thee: Thy right hand upholdeth me.

Psalms 65:11-13. Thou visitest the earth and waterest it, Thou greatly enrichest it. Thou providest them corn, when Thou hast so prepared it, Thou waterest its furrows abundantly, Thou dost settle the ridges thereof, Thou makest it soft with showers, Thou blessest the springing thereof. Thou crownest the year with thy goodness.

Psalms 66:10-14. Thou, O God, hast proved us; Thou hast tried us as silver is tried. Thou didst bring us into the net, Thou didst lay a sore burden upon us. Thou didst cause men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water; but Thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place; I will go into Thy house and pay Thee my vows, which my lips have uttered and my mouth spake, when I was in trouble.

Psalms 73:23-26. I am continually with Thee, Thou hast holden my right hand. Thou wilt guide me with Thy counsel and afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but Thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside Thee. My flesh and my heart faileth, but God is my portion for ever.

Psalms 86:10-13. Thou art great, and doest wonders, Thou art God alone. Teach me Thy way, O Lord; I will walk in Thy truth: unite my heart to fear Thy name. I will praise Thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify Thy name for evermore. For great is Thy mercy toward me, and Thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest depths.

Isaiah 12:1-2. O Lord, I will give thanks unto Thee; for, though Thou wast angry with me, Thine anger is turned away, and Thou didst comfort me. Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid. For Jehovah is my strength and song, and He is become my salvation.

Isaiah 25:1; Isaiah 25:4. O Lord, Thou art my God, I will exalt Thee, I will praise Thy name; for Thou hast done wonderful things which were truly and surely purposed of old. Thou hast been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat.

Isaiah 38:17. Thou hast preserved my soul from the pit of destruction; Thou hast cast all my sins behind Thy back.

Lamentations 3:55-58. I called upon Thy name, O Lord, out of the lowest dungeon. Thou didst hear my voice. Thou drewest near in the day that I called upon Thee; Thou saidst, “Fear not.” Thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul. Thou hast redeemed my life.

Jonah 2:1; Jonah 2:5-7. Out of my affliction, I called to the Lord and He answered me. The waters compassed me about even to the soul, the deep was round about me. Yet hast Thou brought up my life from the pit, O Lord my God. When my soul fainted within me, I remembered the Lord, and my prayer came in unto Thee.

Luke 2:29-32. Lord, now lettest Thou Thy servant depart in peace, according to Thy word; for mine eyes have seen Thy salvation, which Thou hast prepared before the face of all peoples—a light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of Thy people Israel.
