The Ascend Pillars Part 1
Brian Guerin

Brian Guerin (birth year unknown–present). Brian Guerin is an American pastor, author, and founder of Bridal Glory International and Ascend Church in Atlanta, Georgia. Raised in a non-religious home, he became a Christian in college after a profound spiritual experience he described as a divine encounter with a falcon, which ignited his pursuit of intimacy with God. Guerin serves as the senior leader of Ascend Church, where his preaching emphasizes a deep relationship with Jesus, the power of God’s presence, and preparing believers for Christ’s return. He founded Ascend Academy, a ministry school, and travels globally, speaking at conferences and on platforms like TBN and GOD-TV, often highlighting signs, wonders, and prophetic insights. His books, including God of Wonders: Experiencing God’s Voice Through Signs, Wonders, and Miracles, To Know Him: Discovering Experiential Intimacy with God, The Altar: Preparing for the Return of Jesus Christ, and Divine Encounter, focus on spiritual growth and encountering God. Known for sermons like “Mary’s at His Feet” and “The Secret Place,” he encourages distraction-free prayer and devotion, drawing from Scriptures like Luke 10:41–42 and Matthew 6:6. Guerin’s ministry seeks to draw the Church into closeness with Christ, which he calls the “highest prize in life.” He said, “Your heart can burn, and you still not know Him.”

Tonight, I wanna go over what I'm calling the Ascend Pillars. It's been stirring within me anyway for quite some time and then I started doing the math. Typically next week we would do Q&A week, but I was realizing, so I'm teaching tonight and the next week is my last one before the school of his kingdom, you know, which will be that whole month which we're launching church in anyway. And prior to, I think it's a beautiful thing to set in place what I'm just calling Ascend Pillars. I would say though, even if you don't feel like you're a part of this house and online across the world, these right here, listen, simple, super practical, very biblical, but to me, I just think they could be also very foundational for life. So I'd even take notes just on the bullet points. We'll have the archive. I might be able to even give you my personal notes, but they're 12 pillars, which I think is very, you know, amazing apostolic. It's a governmental number, it's a building number. And you know what pillars are there to stabilize. And oh yeah, yeah, yeah, we're gonna, this will be fun too. We'll have the, yeah, 12 pillars. I may only get through five or six tonight and then I'm hoping to by Tuesday, next Tuesday, land it. Does that make sense to you guys? Then we're going into school of his kingdom and then we're launching church. It's gonna be a lot of fun. So yeah, but basically all these are like guideposts, solid things you never want to come off of. Does that make sense to you guys? Like pillars that just hold everything together and they're super biblical, Jesus-like of course, but I believe these fundamental things we want stable in our life to represent him well. And again, if you're out across the world, different works just put a different name. I'm putting us in because it's our house, but you can take them and do whatever you want. You all know like our handbook, super key and fundamental and a safe place for healthy culture. These are more solid in life and look, take them for the long haul. These are ones I'd want to be able to have and show my kids and always take them back to that guidepost like this is who we are. This is what we do. We never come off of this for any reason whatsoever. The pillars that hold up his name, the fame of his kingdom, his presence, his word. It's what I believe he smiles upon. And so, and a lot of them are gonna be super obvious. You're gonna know it, but we should be good. Okay, so number one, and rightfully so in priority, and then after this, there won't really be so much in priority, but intimacy, first pillar, intimacy. And I have here that we would be a people who first, sorry, whose first and highest pursuit would be to intimately love and know him. And I'm gonna go on over a lot of word tonight, so I'll just take it as getting washed in the water of the word. You don't need to turn with me because I'm gonna be going through a lot of word. You'll be pages you want me to keep up. And then maybe on the archive, you can go back and slow down and follow the scriptures. I don't even think our media team's gonna follow me on the lower third, because we're just mowing through scripture. But that we would be a people whose first and highest pursuit would be to intimately love and know him. This pillar right here, this is why you wake up every day of your life. It is the ultimate X on the treasure map of life. Soon as this one moves, everything else starts getting shaky. This pillar right here, you guys know it. I know I'm preaching to the choir, but you can't hear it enough. And I tell you, I can't tell you how often I see, that's why the Bible says we must meditate day and night on his word. Like, but I already read that book, but you meditate day and night. Your mind renewed, never saw that before. I knew again every day. Because if you don't, and if he's not your main guidepost in his presence in the world, you just veer. And I can't tell you how much I've seen it where ministry is just that main pillar of intimacy gets, the focal point gets off. And, but it's my assignment, but then the assignment gets to be the focal point. It's like, no, no, no. The assignment comes from intimately loving, knowing him. You know what I mean? That you never come at, that's like the lens over all of your other filter. You see everything through. And if we, I pray we'd be a people that are this way and just true to the end, unshakable. Like, what are you, you know? Anyway, I'll sit here all night on this one. So, but knowing him and loving him is without a doubt life's ultimate goal and purpose. May we be Marys who sit at the feet of Jesus all the days of our lives. May we be wise virgins. Listen to this one. May we be wise virgins in this last hour whose greatest investment and stock is in the oil of intimacy and the excess thereof. I mean, all our chips are in that basket right there. This last hour, I've got to be in that company of the five with my lamp burning so bright and bucket loads of excess oil. And that's the greatest investment stock I want to dump everything into right there, that one. We want to be that company in this last hour, the wise virgins. So some verses to support it. And again, we know most of them, John 17, three. And this is eternal life that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. I remember telling you guys, I heard Leonard Ravenhill not too long ago, he likened Matthew, Mark, and Luke to the outer courts, John to the inner courts, and then John 17 to the Holy of Holies. I was like, man, that's powerful. In John 17, three, he's like, look, this is eternal life. This is what it's all about. That they may know you, God the Father, and Jesus Christ whom he sent. This is it, like this is it, you know what I mean? So at times, if you ever find yourself veering what you all do, it's okay, but it's like, no, no. Recalibrate, the reason I live is this right here. But I'm this, or I'm marketplace, I'm stay-at-home mom. Right, right, right. But the reason I live is this right here. I'm telling you, the richest folks in heaven are those that know him and love him intimately. And may our kids be like, that's all they know. Like, oh yeah, I don't get anything else. I have no identity in anything else. And listen, the devil's like, no, no, no, stop that type of generation, stop them. Because they're immovable. Love's the most powerful. Matthew 22, 37 through 38, Jesus said to him, you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. First and great. First in priority and greatest in value. That right there. Philippians 3, eight through nine. Paul writes, yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ and become one with him. You could go on forever on the verses in intimacy, but number two, oh yeah, we got it up there. Number two, purity. Beautiful pillar. Can't ever come off of this one. And look, all have fallen short. Because you don't want to go in the other ditch. The enemy loves to condemn and all this nonsense. That's not God ever. His loving kindness leads to repentance. He's so full of grace. Merciful, slow to anger. But when we drop the ball, you get back up, purity. Back to that pillar. It's immovable as a standard in life. So I have here that we would be a people who carry a deep passion and love for purity. And listen, in this last hour, I'm telling you, you guys know it, but the current in a wave of darkness mixed with deception and the, not to glorify the dark side, but also we're not to be naive of the word. In Isaiah 60, it's real clear. I was just recently on a call with a, you know, a pretty big ministry and the leader's take was something else, which is okay. But I'm knowing from revelation in the word, I'm like, yeah, things are going, you know. Anyway, and so you don't elevate it, but you're not to be naive. And with where things are going, if this is not a pillar, I'm telling you, you guys know it, but it's got to be so solidified and stable and true in life because things are going further the other way. And we want to be those set apart ones, you know, in this hour, more and more. And listen to what, as much as the world's increasing in darkness, I want to be going a hundred miles an hour the other way. Well, you're kind of, you're not relevant. I don't care what you think. I'm going a hundred mile an hour. Whatever path is so narrow and so detached, I don't want anything to do with it. I don't care what, you know what I mean? We want to be, you guys have heard me, but such a potent realm of purity, blinding light, full of glory, safe place for the Holy Spirit to dwell upon, quenching him never, you know, and so that we would love righteousness and hate wickedness, just as Jesus did and still does to this day. That we would seek first his kingdom, and watch this, and his righteousness. Matthew 6, 33, everybody loves that. All things will be added, but pay close attention that we seek first his kingdom and pursue and seek his righteousness. You'll see later Paul talks about it, seeking righteousness, the righteous lifestyle, continual choices of uprightness, that we would walk about in the fear of the Lord, maintaining a life of clean hands and a pure heart. Watch this one, that we would strive to enter the rest of becoming that bride without spot or wrinkle. May we be a people who reside in the world, but are certainly not of it. May we purpose in our hearts, as Daniel did, not to defile ourselves with the system of this world. You see it with the generals. I was just in it recently, Daniel 1. It says, right out of the gate, you know, they kind of got picked with the wise ones and astrologers and all this stuff. And Daniel, it says, he purposed in his heart not to defile himself with the king's delicacies and the king's wine. Basically, that's representative of communion of the world. The food, the bread and wine, communion, community and connecting with any of the world. And he chose to eat in his heart, not to defile himself with the things of the world. And that was one thing I did really like. We were connected on the fear of the Lord, though, this other ministry, and it was awesome. But that we'd be like Daniel, and purpose in our heart, not to defile ourselves with the system of this world. And listen, man, I'm telling you, it's gonna come. Legalistic, it's gonna come. You know, all these things, but watch fruit. A tree's real evident by its fruit. People can talk a good game, but all you gotta do is step back and watch for a little while, watch the fruit. Fruit's always a dead giveaway. It's all, you don't look at the outward display. People can talk their way into anything. Use verses, just step back and watch the fruit for a little bit. And that's what we wanna be. People set apart that we would be a Nazarite company that are set apart ones making straight the path for the Lord's second and final coming. You know, Psalm 24, three through four, who may ascend into the hill of the Lord, or who may stand in his holy place, he who has clean hands and a pure heart. Purity's beautiful, man. And I know you guys, we're all about the same thing, but it's super rare. At broad, I would say at broad, there's a lot of loose things, and we just don't, why have mixture? You know, what's the need for? Because you can start to get in an anointing and gifting and momentum alone, you can ride on. But then the purity starts to wean, and that pillar gets moved. And I'm telling you, train wrecks around the corner. We just, again, our children, we said, no, no, we never come off of this. But dad, what about so and so? That's fine, let's just keep walking, we'll see. Just stay detached, you know. And I'm thinking more and more, it's just beautiful. So anyway, 2 Timothy 9, you guys have heard me quote this a million times. Chapter two, verses 19 through 22. I love the New Living on this one. It says, but God's truth stands firm like a foundation stone with this inscription upon it. The Lord knows who are his, and all who belong to the Lord must turn away from evil. Not, if you're not born again, turn away from evil. No, if you belong to the Lord, you must. This inscription is written, New Testament. This isn't Old Covenant. It's written on the foundation stone. Like this is what it's all founded on. If you belong to the Lord, you must turn away from evil. So if you start to just smell it, and I pray our sense of purity gets more clear, our heart gets more tender, less callous, and we just sense the slight appearance of evil, which, phew, all the way. If you want to get born again and go up the hill, come on. But if you want to play games and hang around low with golden calves, not on my watch, not a chance. Me and my house serve the Lord. Joshua was no nonsense, totally detached, and everybody, even connected to his world, always served the Lord. There's something about it. You just stay on track, and it's beautiful, but it says, in a wealthy home, some utensils are made of gold and silver. Some are made of wood and clay. The expensive utensils are used for special occasions. The cheap ones for everyday use. Watch what Paul writes to Timothy. Look, Timothy, if you keep yourself pure, you'll be a special utensil for honorable use. If you work on your prophetic gifts, no, he didn't touch on any of that. He said, look, Timothy, all you got to do, man, I'm telling you, just keep yourself pure. He didn't say, look, hone in on your preaching skills. No, no, Timothy, listen to me. You want to be on those special utensils? They're special, they're rare. Don't come around often. Keep yourself pure. It's beautiful, man, that we'd be that. Your life will be clean, and you'll be ready for the master to use you for every good work. Watch this, 22. He says, run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Paul's not like, look, walk away. No, sprint. Don't walk, don't slowly scoot away, don't think about it. Sprint full out. Right when you know, run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead, pursue righteous living. Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness. Pursue it, seek after it. Faithfulness, love, and peace, and watch this one. I love it. There's things in scripture I think we just don't see. Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts, meaning there's those that call on the Lord without pure hearts. What Paul's saying here is like, no, no, don't enjoy companionship with those. You need to enjoy companionship with those that call on the Lord with pure hearts. Again, if we're leaving the 99 to win the one, oh yeah, all day long, win the lost. But the problem is often there's sheeps that they walk about like wolves, and they're within, and they never want to, you know what I mean, and they call on the Lord, but their hearts aren't pure. And they're going to impact you before you impact them, those type people. That's why Paul's like, no, enjoy companionship with those that call on the Lord with pure hearts. Does this make sense to you guys? You really want to be wise when you hear the Lord on who and what. Again, we want to impact, but if we're honest, there's some of those. Paul sometimes, he'll, what is it, Titus 3.10. I mean, they're all in there. Paul plays no games. Very patient, kind, merciful, but also no games. It's all truth. Severity and kindness of the Lord. Titus 3.10 says, look, a divisive man, warn him once, warn him twice. After that, reject him, have nothing to do with him. Oh yeah, Corinthians, I think he says, as far as sin, you know, things like this, ongoing. He says, don't even eat with them. Some of them, he's like, turn them over to Satan that they might be born again. This is the word, man. I'm going into the fear of the Lord days. I'm going into Ananias the Phyrus. I'm not trying to babysit. I'm just saying, and we don't want to be that company. We want strong pillars, going after heaven all out, high standards. And we can sit down and love you where I'm not better than you. Jesus loves me the same, but I'm telling you, if you want to roll, I only enjoy companionship with those who call on the Lord with pure hearts. Period, nothing personal, never was. You probably are more gifted than me. You may know more, but I'm telling you right now, there's a standard, Jesus is on it, I'm going to have him. My kids are and everybody else, you know. Sorry if this is coming across a little bit, but yeah, we want these pillars, man. And we don't want them, I mean, just solid as rock and it's good. So anyway, James 1.27, religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this, to visit orphans and widows in their affliction and to keep oneself unstained from the world. Beautiful, that's perfect religion. Hebrews 12.1, New King James, therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, you know what I just figured out? You know, I've told you guys this before, sometimes I'm slow. You remember the William Seymour Slot 777 Spirit's Deal, 06, 100 year anniversary of Mazzuza Street. Well, I saw him, remember his face hovering up into the balcony before our very first Pentecost, which is the outpouring of the Spirit, grand opening. It had to have been a cloud of witness thing looking over and I mean, I think I kind of connected, but I don't think I thought all the way through. But the 777s, obviously the Lord knew way back in 2006, we'd be projected in an apostolic way to build out of an address with the 777s in it, which is just unheard of. But I think our very first Pentecost, it just so happens our very first time we opened the doors was Pentecost weekend, which is outpouring of the Spirit, that's what Mazzuza Street was. It was one of the most to date powerful outpourings of the Spirit that commissioned people in a mission form all over the world. But I believe he was a Hebrews 12 cloud of witness looking into and sure enough, Chris, you got rocked up there too. I mean, a bomb went off up here. It was powerful, right in that swirl, I don't know why it was here. But I believe from that dream, remember, I was looking into their day and I by revelation knew there was two of the seven spirits missing is why the revelation spiked and dwindled in three years. But the Holy Spirit spoke and says, your generation will see a company though that will flow on all seven. And when you do, it'll be a move of God that will sustain until the Lord's return. Yes, I believe, listen, and I know a lot of you are picking up on prophetic stuff, but I believe it was just a kicker of where things are trying to go and looking into it for this generation. But Hebrews 12, one, therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and sin which so easily ensnares us and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. First Thessalonians five, and there's so many, I'm gonna land it here, I have about four more. First Thessalonians five, 19 through 22. King James, quench not the spirit, despise not prophecy, prove all things, hold fast to that which is good and watch this, abstain from all appearance of evil. This is the purity pillar, abstain from the appearance of. So if even looks, smells, taste, touch, and again, in balance, in God's love we get it, but it's just, it's beautiful. Second Peter 3.14, therefore, beloved, looking forward, look, this is Peter, Paul, John, Jesus, all of them, they all hammer this, they do not come off of it. Second Peter 3.14, therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things regarding the days of his return, be diligent to be found by him in peace without spot and blameless. This is Peter, in longing for his return. Be found in him in peace without spot and blameless. First John three, two through three, dear friends, we are already God's children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears, but we do know that we will be like him for we will see him as he really is, verse three, and all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure just as he is pure. Are you hearing these verses? They're very reliant upon us, very conditional. You know, keep oneself unstained from the world. Paul says, Timothy, keep yourself pure, but I'm righteous in Christ. Oh yeah, you are, but there's a choice, too, a seeking of righteousness, a pursuing righteous living. It's both, you guys have heard me teach on the different chairs, Hebrews 10, 14. He says he is forever made perfect, imagine a chair right here, those that are being made holy, a chair right here. And all we're trying to do in life is synchronize these chairs. So in the spirit, brand new creation, holy, our spirits just as Jesus is, perfect and holy before God, praise him. But our soul being renewed, he understands there's this choosing, and it's awesome, Romans, last one, 13, 14, but put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for the flesh to gratify its desires. Isn't that awesome? Next pillar, next pillar, humility. This is cool, like a game show or something. I shouldn't do a drum roll. Humility, listen, this pillar, you might as well go ahead and coat it in pure gold. The more I'm just walking this thing out and looking for like a value system, more or less, this one right here is the number one, way at the top, other than, of course, the foundational, deeply rooted in Christ, solid, solid foundation in the word and appreciation, like it's the standard and the Lord, but this is one of the number one top I look for, because when it's missing, there's a lot of other issues and things out of place. And it's a choosing, but also it comes from, obviously, being with the Lord, because it's who he is. But humility's so beautiful, and again, I pray we won't be perfect at any of these. Praise God for a community, his grace, mercy, so we're not, you know. But these gauges to go by and just always keep them before us and better align with, and so this one, you just, you wanted immovable humility, that we would be a people that walk in immense humility. You know, this is what you would want people to come around, I pray, that they would just see these certain things, admit so much more. These aren't exclusive by any means, this isn't like, you know, but they'd just be like, there's something about them. You know, or again, if you're in another house and online across the world and everything, the same thing, hopefully it would apply to you, but they'd be like, man, it's just this constant, I don't know what it is, it's just very, very different. And that our life would be saturated with the heavenly fragrance of true meekness. The only man to ever talk to God face to face as a friend was Moses, meekest man on the earth. I remember just conversing with God on it once. You know, how did Moses, to date, recorded be the only man to talk to you face to face? I was like, what was different about him, why him? And quickly, you know, the Spirit reminded me that the only thing that stood out about him, his main attribute, more than anybody else in the Bible, although he wrote it about himself, that's kind of, meekest man on all the earth. You know, it's kind of like John, the one who Jesus loved, you know. Or Paul, he's like, I knew a man, kind of went to paradise, let me sign it, just like, you know, it's kind of funny, but meekness, you know, humility. That we would be branded by humility so much so that this would be one of the overarching attributes seen in and through us as a company, a community, and tribe. Does that mean we're like these pushovers and all this stuff? No, you guys know what I mean. True biblical humility is beautiful. It's what Jesus walked in at the highest level ever, while yet he made whips and flipped over tables. Same Jesus, kindness and severity is the fullness. Paul, such meekness and humility. We will turn and curse you blind if you mess with him for too long. You know what I mean, so it's the same package. So, you know, I just sometimes I think we get it out of, you know, but may we be completely painted by the Spirit and anointed with humility. This is so beautiful. And listen, man, the constant exalting from the Lord on those that are humble, it's unstoppable. I'm about to show you in scripture, it's unstoppable. The favor and butter lane is the lane of humility. You never want to get out of it. You'll have times where you don't, and you know, we all have, and that's understandable. I'm meaning, hopefully it's like the common thread that holds the fabric of our life together. These pillars, they're these main threads that hold our fabric of our life together. And, but watch Ephesians 4, one through two, English standard version. I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you, plead with you, beg you, Paul, to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you've been called with all humility and gentleness. The word there is meekness. He urges you to walk of your calling worthy with all humility, gentleness. Colossians 3.12, therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, you put it on. You actually wear it. You'll see it in another scripture. They clothe yourself with humility clothing. It's a choice. It's kind of like riding a bike. The more you do it, it's like, man, and you're like, whoa, that feels right. That feels like Jesus. Whoa, God's favor's on that. I'm pleasing to him. This is what matters. Whoa, fruit happens this way. It's actually fruit recognized by him. I got to wear this. I got to stay in this, and you'll mess up sometimes. That's okay. Let me go back to humility. Put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness. There it is again, long-suffering. James 4.7, but he gives more grace. Therefore, it says, God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. This is so beautiful. I imagine two rivers, if you will, or currents of wind, both from God, and any time we step into arrogance and pride, you can guarantee you just bought a first-class ticket to getting humbled and resisted and opposed by God. I'm talking Heisman Trophy. I mean, bam, stiff arm. God, you are literally getting opposed by God right now. First-class ticket. Any time. It is the thing that ousted Satan out of heaven. Any time you start stepping into pride and arrogance, you won't come out of that lane. You are guaranteed now in the direct opposition of God. No matter how you think it should add up and how it should play, it doesn't matter anymore if you're in pride and arrogance. So I see it like this, but he gives grace to the humble, which is supernatural empowerment. Grace is like man, not even earned, but just supernatural backing, butter, wind, favor, empowerment to the humble. So you can imagine God with a current, a river in front of him, and even wind, and you're in the sailboat of life, and if you're in the sailboat of humility, his current flowing out from his throne is with you, and it's just blowing, and his wind is hitting your sail and blowing, you just have this wind. He gives grace. He supernaturally empowers the humble. Go to the pride. You jump in your little pride boat and you think you're going to do something. His current now opposes you. Everything's upstream. Very, very difficult, never going to work. His wind is coming against your sail. You're like, well, let me turn my sail a little bit. Anywhere you go, it's coming, he opposes you, and you're not going anywhere, but I'm right, or I think I know, okay, but just stay in arrogance and pride, and God will oppose you as long until your boat breaks. He will not mess around. He will not accompany or help or supernaturally empower pride ever, ever. He will resist you until you go around the mountain 400 years in a row, and even then, if you still don't come off of it, your boat will just break and you'll go nowhere. Humility, though, so again, as a company, we want to be those. Will we slip into pride and arrogance? Oh, yeah, no worries. We're like, yeah, did that twice last week, and that's okay. We just want to pull each other constantly. Hey, hey, hey, don't do that. Trust me, that's a rough, rough route. You're swimming upstream now. Come on over here. Let's go back into lowly humility also. There's that wind again. Butter, favor, I didn't even earn it. Unmerited, just grace. Humility's just the way we want to go, and Jesus was the humble of them all, most humble of them all, so it's like we want to model him. James 4.10, humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you. So with humility, not only is he always supernaturally empowering, but he also exalts. But you'll see in Scripture with pride, he not only opposes and resists you, he demotes. It's always that way. There's no like, well, you know, there's a free pass this week. No, it's just how it works. 1 Peter 5.5, likewise, you who are younger be subject to the elders, watch this closely, and clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another. Peter talks, he says, they say put it on, or clothe yourself with humility toward one another. And what's so beautiful about this is this is the exact opposite of the world system. You all know that. The world's like totally arrogance, push somebody down, or climb up my ladder, and it's all, kingdom's the other way. And it's beautiful, and it operates in the butter lane. Clothe yourselves, all, all of you, with humility toward one another. Why, Peter? Oh, for God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble. So if we have this pillar in our life, we're just always like, man, I don't know what it is about that company. You know, but they're just always soaring past everybody else, I don't know what it is. While the arrogance, you just start to run into opposition. And if you're not careful, that can creep in in very, just, non-assuming ways. And then the sheer momentum of what you're already in, you're riding off of, but truly in the Spirit, God's resisting you. I've listened, I've heard of, anyway, just, we don't wanna, we don't wanna go there. So Luke 14, 11, out of the mouth of Jesus. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted. You see that again? And so, but we, and often it's insecurity, it's all kind of reasons, we wanna exalt ourself. And it's like, don't do that, because God's gonna just squash you. He's gonna humble you. But those who humble themselves, he exalts and empowers, always. So we wanna be that people. Micah 6, eight. Micah chapter six, verse eight. New King James. He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God? Proverbs 3, 34, there's a million here, but I'll do several more. Proverbs 3, 34. Surely he, capital H, God scorns the scornful, but gives grace to the humble. Scornful is basically mockers, people that just think they know it all, and they keep talking, or whatever it is, God's like, okay, I'll scorn you. It's the same thing, it's demotion. Proverbs 11, two. When pride comes, then comes shame. But with the humble is wisdom. That's another thing, humility's wisdom. In the world, they won't recognize it, but true spiritual humility brings about wisdom. Proverbs 15, 33. The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom, and before honor is humility. Here's another one. Proverbs 18, 12. Before destruction, the heart of a man is haughty, and before honor is humility. There it is again. So basically, imagine stepping stones, and always, before you get to the stepping stone of honor, right before it is always humility. They go hand in hand. So as soon as you step into the direction of humility, by default, your next step is honor. And it goes both ways, it's a two-way street. Those that walk in true humility, they love to honor. They're not trying to make it about them. They're looking for ways to honor. You give me anything to work with, I'm trying to lift up an honor. Give me anything I can find that's honorable, and I'm focusing on that. And also, it brings about honor. If you go in humility, next step, it's kind of like humility's the key that opens the door to honor. They go hand in hand. It says before honor is always humility, but before destruction is pride. Because sure enough, that stepping stone, you want to start stepping into pride, then guess what the next stepping stone is? Shame, destruction, demotion, resisting. And so, humility. This one's beautiful. Proverbs 22, four. By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches and honor and life. This one's gold and glorious. By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches and honor. See honor in there again? They listen, they're peanut butter and jelly. And we want to just be in this world. We want these pillars so solid. Our life, our children's life, our children's children, and it'd be glorious. The devil's like, I hate them, you know. Watch Psalm 25, nine. The humble he guides in justice, and the humble he teaches his way. The humble he always, they always know the way of God, because he teaches them. They're teachable. The pride, they're always confused, never going anywhere, there's arrogance, because he's not going to teach them. He's going to make sure they get demoted. He'll resist them all the days of their life until you want to come into humility, like my son did, Jesus Christ. The humility teaches them his way. Pride, the exact opposite. He won't teach them his way on purpose. Because they're not even teachable, you know, so humility. Philippians 2, three through 11. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but watch this, Paul, man, Church of Philippi. But in humility, count others more significant than yourselves. Baddest apostle in the land. And he was always like, because you really see him through God's eyes then. And you're like, oh no, no, justly so. It's easy when there's true humility there and you see it through God's eyes to honor people more than yourself. This is what he would do. Let each of you not only look to your own interests, let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men and being found in human form. Listen to this, Jesus, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on the cross. Therefore, God has highly exalted. Those that humble themselves, they always get exalted, always. It's impossible, it's two plus two is four, always. Highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name so that at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow in heaven and on earth, under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. So basically, Jesus, most importantly, that we please him in a deep intimate relationship, but also be like him. He was the most humble man to ever walk the earth, while yet he'd make whips and flip tables. But the most humble man ever, he walked in the greatest amount of humility this earth has ever seen, and from that, got exalted to the highest place all heavens and earth have ever seen or ever will know. So again, humility, and it gives him true glory. So it's like if Jesus walked in this way, and I'm telling you, it just creeps in, the other lane, we don't wanna go there. Well, people may think I'm more, no, just I'm telling you, there's all kind of stuff that pulls that swirl and it tries to creep its way into the church. You just don't want it, you don't want it. I'm telling you, there's a lot of, we want this lane. Okay, fourth pillar, I'm gonna, dang, I only got through four, sorry. So fourth one, I'm gonna take a wild guess, the jelly to the peanut butter of humility. Honor, yes, indeed. Honor, fourth pillar, may we be a people that are very wealthy in the area of honor. May outsiders who come in, near, or around us at any point in time drink from the deep well of honor that we have dug out and continually sustain. May we carry such a rich appreciation and value system in regards to being a cultural of honor. This is beautiful. We'd be a people and cultural of honor. First Peter 2.17, honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king. Look at Paul again, Romans 12.10. Love one another with brotherly affection, English Standard Version, outdo one another in showing honor, wow. Paul's like, look, if there's anything you wanna compete in life for, it's outdoing each other in honor. Like, go for this thing, you know, not fake. Now, no, no, you're amazing, you know, no, you're better, like, not some fake, you know. Not like that. No, no, you quit, you know, like where it gets real. But the authentic, from humility, and we have this gauge and aim, you know. Paul's like, look, love one another with brotherly affection and outdo one another in showing honor. Such a healthy culture, so beautiful. Again, will you mess up? Oh yeah, we all do, no worries. When we dishonor, act like we're better, okay, no worries, but oh yeah, that doesn't feel right. I feel like the Holy Spirit didn't like that a whole lot. Forgive me, Lord, wash me, move back over, honor, yep. There's favor again, why? Because humility's right there. You can't honor without humility, that's why I have them, they go hand in hand. And such a beautiful culture. When you find a people like this, it's like, whoa. Who are these people? You know, because you're not really in it for you anyway, what does it matter? You're not trying to, it's also such a healthy realm of security is there. Because if you're insecure, it's hard to honor people. You always gotta hurry up and say, well, yeah, but what about my next, you know, and it's like, you get around those people, you know what I mean, oh, here we go. And that's okay, too, but we want the Lord to continually transform us, wash us in the water of his word, and walk in honor, it's so, so beautiful. And then all of a sudden, look, you hear our kids, because they just follow what they see, and they're in it, and then they don't like anything other than, does that make sense? It's been their healthy diet all their life, and it's beautiful, and they'll go further than us, for sure, so. First, Timothy 5.17, let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching. Philippians 2.3, we touched on it earlier with humility, but honor's in there, really, as well. Philippians 2.3, do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility, count others more significant than yourselves. Isn't that awesome? So, hmm, I may do one more, is that okay? I can squeeze it in real quick. That way, we'll only have seven next week. We're here till midnight, you know. But I don't think I'll have those announcements as much. Okay, number five, that's easy, excellence. This is a really good one, and again, often overlooked. And look, we're gonna, you know, be gracious on yourself and pleased with us, and you know, we understand that. High, high mercy, me and Jasmine say it all the time, just, we wanna be that people. So, super safe, we're growing together, but at least having a gauge to go for, you know what I mean, and a pillar there that's solid. And this is a big one that I think far too often gets overlooked, excellence. So, I have here that we would carry a spirit of excellence beyond our peers, that excellence would be the trademark on any and everything we put our hands to. May we have a high standard of excellence like that of Daniel, which enables great influence in the world around us, all for the glory of God. It does so much more, I think most importantly, reflects heaven and God. If you start going Old Testament, looking at details and blueprints, Moses, God, I mean, my gosh, God is the epitome of excellence. You get taken to heaven once, and you see any flashing point of any side of anything, you're like, oh my gosh, just, boom. I remember one heavenly experience, these massive, like, palace thing I was in, I saw the ceilings were way higher than this, and the ornate detail in the ceiling, my mind was running, because my construction mindset, which I've seen a bunch of high-end architecture, we worked with high-end architects and customs and all this, my mind was running into problems because I was going back to my memory bank, and I had nothing to go off of. The ornate detail, exquisite, like, it was all white, this is palace, and I had nothing, I'm just blown away. I was just getting lost in the detail of the ceiling. That was it, and the trim, and this experience, but excellence, watch this, Daniel 6.3. Then this Daniel became distinguished above all the other high officials and satraps. Why? Because an excellent spirit was in him, and the king planned to set him over the whole kingdom because of this one thing, an excellent spirit. Daniel 5, 11 through 12, there's a man in your kingdom in whom is the spirit of the holy gods. In the days of your father, light and understanding and wisdom like the wisdom of the gods were found in him, and King Nebuchadnezzar, your father, your father, the king, made him chief of the magicians, enchanters, Chaldeans, astrologers, because an excellent spirit, knowledge, and understanding to interpret dreams, explain riddles, and solve problems were found in this Daniel. Excellent spirit, spirit of excellence. I've literally seen this before where, you know, and it should just hopefully overlap in all of our lives and just, again, get better and going towards it because it reflects the Lord well, but I've literally seen this in ministry. In ministries, I actually had a prophetic word for one one time in this regards, and that's tough because you hate to, you know, you got to be tactful on your delivery, but sure enough, today, it's starting to, anyway, but I've seen this before. Deep roots in the word, know the word backward and forward, rich anointing, presence, glory, hear God real clear, but no spirit of excellence, and the thing implodes in a lot of different areas, and so it starts to, it's just not God, God's not into it, you know, and it just doesn't reflect well. Can it sustain? Yeah, but more importantly, that would be that culture where the spirit of excellence, because it's just heaven, it's just good, it's where order is, it's excellence, and sure enough, when honor and some of these others start getting moved, excellence dwindles, you know, and you can see it, it's funny with the kids, I'll use simple analogies, but I'm just always trying to better, they'll tell you, I'll be like, look, we want to go here, this is the Lord, we want the bar here. Humanity, if we're not careful, we digress and come off of it, you know, it's funny, Sean Williamson, David Hogan's son-in-law, I remember he told me one time, he says, look, man, we traveled the globe, and I have as well, but they've even gone out where you would think, you know, the unreached people groups, crazy mountainous, whatever he says, humanity's all the same. He says they're lazy, they always want to choose the path of least resistance, like water, and if you're not careful, you'll start to let that part of your heart, you know, get calloused in regards to the Holy Spirit, and it may be doing things that he's not quite fully approving of, and it doesn't reflect as well on him. Again, do we need perfection? No, mega grace, trying to go there, but a spirit of excellence is really the Lord, and you can see what it did, it set Daniel up in a worldly system, that's what it'll do, they may not recognize spirit, but they're like, hold on, something's different about this, like everything that guy touches has excellence on it, and I'll mess with them a good way, and from a worldly system, you can look at it as Chick-fil-A, spirit of excellence, then go to any other drive-thru, and you're like, man, I'm not trying to name names, but you're like, whoa, you know, and it starts at the top, it starts at the top, there's excellence, man, and it's just like a well-oiled machine, and again, and sometimes you're like, you know, in the natural now, talking practically, sometimes the means aren't right there just yet, and that's okay, too, it's like just work with what you got, just be going there. I'll never forget, we had just started ministry, I think I was still building homes even, and the Lord spoke to me crystal clear, through like an angelic wonder, to start media, way back, had no money, kids are still in school, had like one little rinky-dink camera, and oh yeah, was able to afford like a $99 box light, no stand, didn't even have a stand, I duct taped it to a broomstick, just what I had, but I'm like, let's do it right with what I got, you know, I'll never forget Patricia King, it's super encouraging to me, when she started, I remember her telling the story where she got called into media, and they had nothing, and they needed the light, the right reflections of the lighting and all this, so they got aluminum foil to reflect it, let me just rigging it, and look at her now, you know, impacting the world, and so, but you should have seen it, man, it's funny, so I'm sitting there with my cheesy little camera, well, I mean, I don't know what, wherever the Lord is speaking, and my box lights in my face, duct taped to a broomstick, like, so ghetto, and so what I'm saying is sometimes in your mind, you're knowing, man, but like, this is all, and that's okay, but it's like going there, I'm meaning the spirit of, that it's like never wants to, so just with worry up, because God will breathe on it, anything you steward, he'll breathe on, anything he sees a hole in the container, he won't pour more in, why would he, it's going to keep leaking out, but anything he starts to see, like, oh, they're paying attention, they're really going for this thing, they're actually setting up a container for me to pour more into, he'll dump it, anything you steward, his presence, his voice, his word, it will increase, there will always be increase, anything you neglect, it'll go dormant, does that make sense? And so if he starts to see, like, wow, they actually have a spirit of excellence, like little things, you know, we always put the grocery cart back or something, you know, little, just excellence, because I'm thinking, and also, we got to reap what you sow in life, and I'm knowing if I leave a cart, if some of you did that, sorry, it's again, no condemnation, but if I leave a cart way off in Timbuktu, in the parking lot, number one, it may blow off and bang somebody's car, number two, the worker's got to go harder now, and then I'm wondering why next day at work, things are harder on me, you reap what you sow. So, you know, you just think through all these things in life, and excellence, it overlaps all these areas, and it becomes just life anyway, it's beautiful, and then again, you're walking in this, like, reaping what you're sowing, and you don't even know why, so it's beautiful. So, yep, we'll pray. I went a little over, but praise him. We'll have seven next week. Okay, awesome. You can stand, we'll pray. Yes, indeed, yesterday was Valentine's Day, isn't that crazy? That was cool, I totally forgot. Went through the store, I was like, why is all these roses, and people piling around the card section, and whatever. That's awesome, though, thank you, Lord. Okay, so, I don't think I forgot anything else, I don't think so. Let's pray, yes, so Jesus, we love you. Thank you so much for your word. Thank you for your voice, your presence. God, I thank you for everybody in this corporate fast together, and those that aren't even. I pray right now, why don't you just lift your hands to heaven, and receive by faith right now, God, I thank you for a wind of the Spirit, fresh wind, come, fresh life and empowerment, that grace we were talking about, supernatural empowerment, butter and favor, the peace that passes all understanding. All things are new, I just heard that over some of you. The Lord says, we're not in yesterday, all things are new, all things are new right now. Thank you, Lord. I pray for a release right now of the spirit of wisdom and revelation. I pray for that seer realm to open up an increase right now. Just receive that, I pray for an increase of dreams and visions, the prophetic swirl right now, come over each and every one of you. Even online, across the world, dreams, and even this night, I pray for an increase of prophetic dreams, that they would flow like a river, God, your voice would be like a deluge, and increase mighty destiny revelations coming forth. Great revelation in clarity, words of knowledge, words of wisdom flowing, financial blessing, an increase, even revelation on that, a great, great increase in a supernatural way of financial favor, hit the house, hit each and every one, abundance, abundance, abundance, too much, too much, too much, too much, too much, too much. Too much, too much, too much. Yeah, just lay hands on somebody next to you real quick. Just receive, be a shoulder, there we go. Just receive. More and more and more. More and more and more. Yeah, more and more and more. Be filled. Easter, Easter, Easter, Easter. Let me see. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
