Matthew 13:35

- ASVnCOMMENTS: The word translated “of the world” is in brackets in the UBS text, because it is missing from manuscripts that belong to several different types of ancient text. If it is not original, it may have been added from Matthew 25:4. However, it may have omitted to make the verse read more like the Greek Old Testament which simply says “from the beginning.” It is included here because it is found in the great majority of manuscripts.
