three hundred chariots] Some here supply a thousand, thus, three hundred thousand chariots, because they are said to be very many chariots and horse-men, chap. 16. 8.

spoiled] Took away the goods that were in the cities.

2 Chronicles 14:15

the tents] Those that dwelt in tents, which they might remove from place to place, to finde out good pasture for their cattell. These were the Arabians, who bordered on the Philistines, and might soon aid the Cushites. See 1 Chron. 4. 41.
