R. Stanley

R. Stanley (N/A–N/A) is an Indian preacher, evangelist, and author from Nazareth, Tamil Nadu, known for his extensive ministry through the Blessing Youth Mission (BYM) and his website, StanleyOnBible.com. Born in the Queen Street of Nazareth, a small town named by early missionaries, Stanley was raised in a Christian family. His father, G. Rajamani, and mother, Anbu Rajamani, came from nearby streets, and his maternal grandmother, Jebathai, worked at St. Luke’s Mission Hospital. Named after a British soldier and preacher by his godmother, Mrs. Vedhabothagam, Stanley grew up attending the Anglican Church, which held daily services central to the community. Stanley’s ministry began after a profound conversion experience at age 17 in 1962, leading him to confess past wrongs and preach his first sermon in May 1963 at a CSI Church in Virudhunagar. He joined the Blessing Youth Mission in 1966 as one of its earliest members, later becoming a key leader. Educated at Madras Christian College and the Bible Institute in Chennai (1968–1970), he preached across India and internationally, focusing on practical Christian living and biblical teaching. Stanley authored over 70 books and numerous articles, many available in English and Tamil, and served as editor of Blessing magazine. Married with two children, he remains based in Nazareth, influencing thousands through his writings and sermons.
