ASVn NEBnCOMMENTS: While it is possible that the sentence in question was originally a marginal comment by an early copyist that has crept into the text, the great number of manuscripts in which it is found would indicate that it is more likely to be original. Perhaps it was omitted by copyists who felt that it was not exactly true.
