KJV ASV NEBnCOMMENTS: The difference between the two readings is only two letters. Although it is possible that the reading in the notes is original and the text reading was produced when a copyist accidently wrote “S” for “SES” due to a mistake of the eye, the text reading is supported by early manuscripts of several types of ancient text which makes such a mistake unlikely.
