10They are Your servants and Your people. You redeemed them by Your great power and mighty hand. 11O Lord, may Your ear be attentive to my prayer and to the prayers of Your servants who delight to revere Your name. Give Your servant success this day, I pray, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man.” (At that time I was the cupbearer to the king.)Cross References

Nehemiah 1:9 Summary
[This verse is a promise from God that if we turn back to Him and follow His commands, He will bring us back to Himself, no matter how far away we may have wandered. This is similar to what we see in Deuteronomy 30:2, where God promises to restore His people if they return to Him. By following God's commands, we can experience His love and restoration in our lives, just like the Israelites did when they obeyed God's laws in the book of Joshua. As we seek to obey God's commands, we can trust in His promise to gather and restore us, just as He did for the Israelites in Isaiah 43:5-7.]
