16 Bible Verses on Breath

16 verses

The vital force that sustains human life is a powerful symbol in Scripture, emphasizing God's creative and life-giving power. In Genesis, God breathes life into Adam, forming him into a living being, while in Job, the breath of God is credited as the source of wisdom and understanding. The Psalms call all beings to praise God with the breath they have been given, and in John, Jesus imparts the Holy Spirit to His disciples through breath. Throughout the Bible, including passages like Job, breath is a reminder of God's presence and gift of life.
