Good morning dear sisters and brothers in Christ. I greet you in that name that is above every name, the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. And it's an honor and a joy to be able to open the word of God and I want to give honor where honor is due. The Bible tells us to do so and I want to thank Pastor Roy and the deacons of the church and all of you dear sisters and brothers in Christ. It is good to be with you. The message this morning is three fathers under attack. On Mother's Day the Lord allowed me to speak about three mothers. So today we will speak about three godly fathers under attack and these were fathers of nations also and so the first father that we will speak about briefly is Samson. Samson was a godly man. He was a godly father of a nation. Samson went wrong. There were consequences. Samson was a judge and ruled in the highest position in the country for 20 years and that is given to us in Judges 15 verse 20. Part of his life is described in the Bible in the book of Judges and Samson was anointed. He was appointed by God to lead his people. His heritage was announced to his parents by an angel. He was to be the rescuer of his people. We don't know too many details about his leading the nation but he did so for 20 years. He was a miracle child. The Lord sent an angel to the parents. So while he was a man with strong strength he also had some weaknesses. Samson was overcome by his flesh, the world and the devil. There was a critical moment in the time of Samson's life when he goes too far. He went and he slept with a prostitute in Judges 16 verse 1. And so we are easy to judge others but do we judge ourselves? Do we sometimes have wandering eyes? Have we made a covenant with our eyes not to look upon others with lust? We think about Samson and judge him but when we switch TV stations do we look for things that will entice us? Over 70 percent of the men in the United States now watch porn. And you wonder how many men do that? Well 70 percent of all Christian men in the United States now watch porn. It has become an epidemic and it is affecting women as well. It destroys marriages, it destroys relationships, it destroys your children, it destroys your spouse, it destroys society. Scripture is very clear and as we turn to 1 Corinthians chapter 6 verses 9 to 10, God reminded us in 1 Corinthians chapter 6 verses 9 and 10, and there it says, Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, The unrighteous will inherit the king of God. But you say, well I don't understand that. I thought God is a loving God. He accepts everyone. Yes, he accepts you through his son Jesus. And as you give your life to Jesus and follow Jesus, you will turn from these sins. Now Jesus made it very very clear for us in Matthew chapter 5 verses 27 to 30. Matthew chapter 5 verses 27 to 30. It says, You have heard that it was said to those of old, you shall not commit adultery. But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. And then more often than not, people stop at that point. But here's what Jesus said right after that. He said, If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. Pluck it out and cast it from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than your whole body be cast into hell. And you see, how can a loving God say that? Well, the loving God and his love is so great, he doesn't want you to go to hell. And Jesus talked twice here about hell. He said, I don't want you to go there. I love you. I love you. I give you ways out. He mentioned an extreme way here, but he gives an alternative. Jesus is serious, but he gives alternative in the Bible. And in the Bible it says, Deny yourself. Repent. Put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for the flesh. Run from sexual sin. Run. Flee. Flee. Flee. Flee. Flee, youthful lusts, the Bible says. Now you don't need to sever limbs if you sever evil. Don't lacerate limbs, but mutilate sin instead. Deny yourself. Run to the Son of God for help. He has set us free from the penalty of sin. He has set us free from the power of sin. Don't lacerate, but meditate. And Pastor Roy, in his prayer, talked about meditation. And Psalm 190, 148 says, My eyes are awake through the night watches that I may meditate on your word. So don't lacerate, but meditate. Eliminate, eradicate, and decontaminate your life from sin. Through the word of God and through his Son, Jesus Christ, in your life. Yes, the Lord Jesus Christ is able to keep you from falling. He will help you. He will present you perfect before the presence of his Father if you surrender to him. Christ is the victory and faith is the victory. I have to believe that Christ in me is the hope of glory and that he is willing to keep me from falling with exceeding joy. If I fully surrender to him, I will have complete joy. He will keep me from falling. Now fornication was mentioned in that verse, and by the way, fornication includes extramarital relations and living common law. It is sin, beloved. There's no other word for it. I know the whole world does it, but don't. Don't, young people. I beg you. You're ruining your life. Don't do it. Another part of sexual immorality is self-gratification. When we self-gratify, we are thinking about someone or something with lust that will bring us to the point of physical satisfaction. And in first Corinthians chapter 3 verse 17, it says, if anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy. Which temple you are. So let us go back to the story of Samson. Samson goes to the wrong territory. He was from Judea and he goes into Philistine territory. He falls in love with a girl named Delilah. Her love is for sale. She fakes love towards him and he becomes blind. He cannot think straight anymore. In Proverbs, it tells us what happens. Proverbs says, you become like an ox brought to slaughter. And Samson is a strong man. He's proud, but he's blind and he's now addicted. Delilah wants to sell Samson for money. Satan had it all planned out. He wanted to destroy Samson's soul. But Satan seeks to steal, kill and destroy Christians and people. He wants to destroy you. He wants to kill you. He wants to offer things that are an alternative to a wonderful and blessed life that God has ordained for us. So Satan tried to kill Samson and Samson is holding on by a thin thread. He lies three times to Delilah about his strength, but later on he falls. We don't know the time when we go too far. Samson lost his strength. He lost his anointing. He lost the spirit of the Most High God. He lost the power of the Almighty God. When is that point in your life when that happens? Does it still happen today? You say, no, no, no, no. It doesn't happen today. It's only told about us in the Old Testament. But beloved, let us read from Romans chapter 1, verses 24 to 28. Romans chapter 1, 24 to 28. And there it says, therefore God also gave them up. What? What? And therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness in the lusts of their hearts to dishonor their bodies among themselves who exchanged the truth of God for the lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the creator who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason God gave them up. For this reason God gave them up. It's in the New Testament. He gave them up to vile passions for even the women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the man leaving the natural use of the woman burned in their lust for one another. Man with man committing what is shameful and receiving in themselves the penalty of the error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to a warped mind, to a mind that does not function properly anymore. These are some of the saddest verses in the Bible, beloved. God gave them up. God gave them over to a debased mind that can no longer think straight. This is now true for Canada and for the United States, beloved. And if I give these verses in the future, if I talk about these things in the future, I will go to jail. But this is, this is his word. That's God's word. I cannot detract from it. I must tell you the truth. I cannot run with the crowd. I must tell you the truth. And Samson had betrayed God. The spirit of God and the strength of God left him. And Samson wakes up. He does not realize that the Lord has left him. And in Judges chapter 16 verse 20, in Judges chapter 16 verse 20, and she said, that is Delilah, the Philistines are upon you, Samson. So he awoke from his sleep and he said, I will go out as before at other times and shake myself free. But he did not know that the Lord had departed from him. Samson is captured by the Philistines. His eyes are gouged out. The ice that had given him his downfall. He was as proud, strong, capable, respected leader of his people for 20 years. He's now fallen. He's blind and he cannot see. He's destitute. He is an ox now in a grain mill where he is grinding grain like an ox. And then something happened. In Judges 16.22 it says that Samson's hair had grown again. And in Judges 16.28 we are told that Samson is praying again. He used to be a praying man. He prayed, God, I'm thirsty. Open up the ground and let water come forth. And God answered his prayer and water came from the ground. And now he prays and he says to God, give me strength. Give me, give me power one more time. And during a feast in the temple of Dagon, a false god of the Philistines, Samson is brought out. He asked the boy, help me to touch the pillars of the temple so I can rest against them. Then with all of his might he pushed the pillars. Samson killed in his death more enemies of God than during his lifetime. Now sin is evil but Samson was saved. Praise God. And we have that assurance in Hebrews chapter 11 verses 32 and 33. We have such a loving God. Even so Samson, Samson went wrong. In Hebrews chapter 11, 32 and 33, it says, and what more shall I say for the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, and stopped the mouth of lions. And so this scripture confirms to us that Samson is in heaven. Praise God. He went wrong. He was a father of this nation and sometimes you and I as fathers go wrong. Is there forgiveness from God? Is there love from God for us? And I testify to you that there is. Now the second father under attack that I would like to mention is another godly leader. He also had children and his name is King David. King David was a godly father of a nation and of children. God called him a man after his own heart and David spoke with God and God spoke with David. David went wrong. There were consequences that he was forgiven and he is in heaven. Now scripture tells us where David went wrong. That he went wrong with his flesh. He went wrong with the world and he went wrong because of the devil. The story is told to us in the Bible. King David was on top of his palace. He was overlooking the city and his eyes wandered across the buildings. He saw a beautiful woman bathing out in the open on top of the roof of her house. His passions were inflamed and he sent for the woman. Her name was Bathsheba. He made love to her. He committed adultery. He got the woman pregnant. Then he had her husband Uriah killed and Uriah was sent with other men to the front line to be killed and other men were killed and there were orphans from those other fathers who were killed. Now David was a godly man but he fell to his flesh. He fell to the world and the devil. David brought evil upon himself and his family. It tells us in scripture that there were five penalties for David and these five penalties you can find in 2 Samuel chapter 12 verse 8 and this is the first penalty. 2 Samuel 12 8. I gave your master's house to you and your master's wives into your arms. I gave you all Israel and if all this had been too little I would have given you even more, even more. So David could have had more and he could not have it because he lost the blessing because of his sin. He could have done more for God and he lost because of this and in 2 Samuel 12 10 there was a second penalty. Now therefore the sword will never depart from your house because you despised me said God and took the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your own. So the sword came to David's house. David's first born son Amnon committed incest with David's daughter Tamar and killed and was killed by Absalom. The sins of the father went on to the next generations. When we turn against God our sins affect future generations. May I ask you do you want your children to be affected by your sins? The third penalty, this is what the Lord says out of your own household I'm going to bring calamity on you. This is what God said and later this became true. David's most beloved son Absalom tried to kill his own father and take away David's kingdom. Absalom died. David's most favorite son. And then the fourth penalty is twofold. It is found in 2 Samuel chapter 12 verse 11. Before your very eyes I will take your wives and give them to one who is close to you and he will sleep with your wives in broad daylight. And this is what happened later on in 2 Samuel 16 verse 22. Absalom took some of David's wives and he slept out in the open before Israel with the wives of David. And then in 2 Samuel 12 verse 12 here's the second part of this penalty. God said you did it in secret but I will do this thing in broad daylight before all of Israel. So don't do secret things with your computer. Don't do secret things with your television. Don't do secret things with the internet. Don't do secret things with your telephone. God will reveal it. You will hurt yourself. You will break apart your family. You will lose your spouse. You will lose your children and you will ruin any marriage if you're a young man because you will not be able to relate to the life of your future in the holy way that God wants you to. So don't do it. Don't do it young people. Don't do it fathers. I beg you. And then the fifth penalty is found in 2 Samuel 12 verse 14. But because by doing this you have shown utter contempt for the Lord. The son born to you will die. So a little baby had to die because of David's sin. And David cried out and he cried out to God have mercy. Have mercy upon me O God. I have done evil. I have done evil. And in Samuel 12 verse 13 it says that's in 2 Samuel 12 verse 13 it says so David said to Nathan I have sinned against the Lord. And Nathan said to David the Lord also has put away your sin. So here God is saying to David I'm putting away your sin. I'm forgiving you. You shall not die. But beloved there were consequences. There are consequences from sin. How kind is God. How loving is God. That David was a murderer but David was forgiven. And fathers God will forgive you if you're going the wrong way. If your marriage is not what it ought to be. If your family is under duress. If there are fights in the house. If you cannot stop fighting. God will help you. The Lord Jesus Christ who is in you will help you. But you need to ask him. You need to surrender to him. Now the third father which was under attack and which I would like to mention is King Solomon. King Solomon was a godly man. He had a relationship with God and he became the wisest man that ever lived. Solomon was talking with God and God talked with him. And Solomon humbled himself before God and he said God I cannot rule this nation. I'm just like a child in my understanding. Will you help me God? And God answered and God was pleased and God made Solomon the wisest man that ever lived. So where did King Solomon go wrong? Well he followed his old flesh. He followed the world. And he followed what Satan wanted him to do. It started all with disobedience. Earlier today brother Zachary read for us the law of the kings. And the law of the kings is found in Deuteronomy chapter 17 verses 16 to 17. And here the king moreover must not acquire great numbers of horses for himself or make the people return to Egypt to get more of them. For the Lord has told you you're not to go back. He must not take many wives or his heart will be let astray. He must not accumulate large amounts of silver and gold. And then scripture tells us what Solomon did. How did Solomon disobey? Well it started with first Kings chapter 10 verse 26. First Kings 10 26. And there it says and Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen. He had 1,400 chariots. You probably need more than two horses per chariot. And 12,000 horsemen. And each horseman would have had a horse whom he stationed in the chariot cities and with the king of Jerusalem. Now tell me what happens with horses? Horses like to run. You're going to have some horse races. You're going to have some chariot races. And who comes to those races? Beautiful women. You're opening yourself up to evil when you disobey God. And now in first Kings 11 1 to 3. Here we see more of what happened to King Solomon. First Kings 11 1 to 3. It says but King Solomon loved many foreign women as well as the daughter of Pharaoh. The law of the kings had said don't go to Egypt. How does he get to know the daughter of Pharaoh? She's from Egypt. How did that happen? How did he get married to her? And then he loved women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians, and Hittites from the nations of whom the Lord had said to the children of Israel you shall not intermarry with them nor they with you. Surely, surely they will turn away your hearts after their gods. Solomon clung to these in love and he had 700 wives, princesses, and 300 concubines. And his wives turned away his heart. And as his heart was turned away from God and there was also a Molech which demanded sacrifices of humans and we don't know if if that was part of what Solomon did. But God, God was saddened. God was saddened. And he said, Solomon I will raise up opposition against you. And then Hadad came, the Edomite, Razon came, and Jeroboam came. And then God said as a penalty I will divide your kingdom to the ten northern tribes and to the two southern tribes. But however, God had promised his father David not to take his spirit from his son. God was speaking to King David in 2 Samuel chapter 7 verses 13 to 15. This was a conversation between God and David. 2 Samuel 7 verses 13 to 15. And here God said to David, he shall build a house for my name and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. I will be his father and he shall be my son. If he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of man and with the blows of the sons of men. But my mercy shall not depart from him as I took it from Saul, whom I removed before you. So God said my mercy shall not depart from him as I took it from Saul, whom I removed before you. And then later on in the New Testament, Jesus acknowledged Solomon in Matthew chapter 12 verse 42. And there Jesus said the queen of the south will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it. For she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon. And indeed a greater than Solomon is here. So Jesus compared himself to Solomon. Solomon was forgiven of thousands of his sins. We will meet him in heaven beloved. And while Solomon failed much, God forgave him. God is an incredible, loving, wonderful God beloved. God will forgive you and me. Now Solomon repented and he gave good advice to you and to me. He wrote the book of Ecclesiastes where he compared everything that our heart desires and he talked to us about seeking pleasures, sex, pride, vanity, money. He said in all of this there's only emptiness and chasing after the weight. Chasing after the weight. And then in the final verse of the book of Ecclesiastes, and I believe that is part of the repentance of Solomon before God, he said in Ecclesiastes 12 verses 13 to 14. Now all has been heard. Here is the conclusion of the matter. Fear God and keep his commandments. For this is the whole duty of mankind. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil. And so here he said fear God. The great commandments are that we are to love God and he loves us. Yes, but also God is a God of justice. And in 2 Peter 2 verses 5 to 6, the apostle Peter reminds us. And here he said, and God did not spare the ancient world except for Noah and the seven others in his family. Noah warned the world of God's righteous judgment. So God protected Noah when he destroyed the world of ungodly people with a vast flood. Later God condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and turned them into heaps of ashes. He made them an example of what will happen to ungodly people. So fear God, said Solomon, when the flood came and all people drowned, people feared God. And Sodom and Gomorrah that was destroyed by God, people feared God. When Ananias and Sapphira were struck dead in the New Testament, it says fear came upon all the church and all who heard it. This was not a irreverent fear. This was a fear the same as when the flood came. This was the same fear when Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed. Now beloved, I have to tell you one more thing. He is a loving God. He loves you so much. He has proved it by forgiving time and again that he is also a God of justice. And there must be a time that comes when God cleans up the world. And so I have to refer you to Revelation chapter 9 verse 15. And there it says, and the four angels who had been kept ready for this very hour, day, and month, and year were released to kill. How many were they supposed to kill? That's just one judgment. Do you know how many were to be killed? A third. A third of mankind. A third of mankind. And so a third of mankind in today's terms, we have seven billion people, right? So a third would be 2.33 billion people. That's 2,330 million people killed by four angels. If you see 10,000 killed by the angels of God, would you fear God? If you see 1 million killed by God's angels, would you fear God? If you see a thousand million people killed by the angels of God, would you fear God? God said in one judgment alone, one third of mankind has to die because they have not accepted the act of love. The act of love from this great and eternal God who gave us his Son. He is the way. He is the truth. He is the life. You cry out and you say, no, no, no, no, no. No, no, no. God don't ever do this. He's a God of love. God gave his Son Jesus to die for us that we might be forgiven and enter heaven pure and undefiled. God loves you and me. He forgave the failures of Samson. He forgave the failures of King David. He forgave the failures of King Solomon. He will forgive you and me through his Son Jesus if we ask him. God is merciful, but he is also just. And you see, God's loving act for eternity is that he will create a new heaven and a new earth without sin. He loves us so much that he will not permit sin into a new heaven and into a new earth. God has no choice at some time point if he wants to create a new heaven and new earth without sin. So will you follow God? Will you follow his Son? God invites you. He says, I stand at the door and knock. I believe there are godly fathers here under attack today. I believe there are godly fathers who are born again. Just as Solomon and King David tried, you may not be right in all matters. Perhaps you are under attack from your own family. Perhaps you're under attack at your job. Perhaps you're under attack with illness in your family. Perhaps you are under attack struggling with money. Perhaps your family fights over money. Perhaps you're under attack struggling how best to bring up your children. Perhaps you fight with your spouse over how to bring up children. Perhaps you're struggling with a wife that continuously puts you down. Perhaps your children disrespect you. Perhaps you are escaping into television, or drinking, or the internet, or drugs, or pornography, or gambling, or other vices to feel better. Is there any healing? Is there any hope? Where is there hope? You might think there is no hope. That's a lie from Satan. You say, I can't go on? Only divorce is my hope. That is a lie from Satan. Samson, King David, and King Solomon were helped by God, and forgiven by God. Yes, they have consequences from their sin, as I have consequences from my sins. But beloved Samson, David, and Solomon were forgiven, and forgiven. They are in heaven today, and I am on my way to heaven, undeservedly so, but because of the Lord Jesus Christ. Will you ask the Son of God to help you today? There is a call to holy living, and Christ Jesus says, follow me, I will show you the way. And so in Ephesians chapter 5, verse 25, it says, Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church, and gave himself for her. Jesus gave his life for the church, for you, and for me. A husband needs to give his life for his wife. You cry out, I can't, I can't. I know, I have been there myself. But Christ Jesus will help you. I weep with you, but Jesus will help you, if you ask him. And then Colossians 3, 19 says, Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them. Don't treat them harshly. You say, I can't, I can't. You don't know when she becomes a fury, I can't treat her gently. I know, but Jesus will help you. Husbands, Jesus is our example, and we can follow in his steps with Jesus' help, and by surrendering to Jesus. Jesus did never threaten or revenge when he suffered. Instead, he forgave. He can help you to forgive your spouse. Jesus left his case in the hands of God. Then Jesus laid down his life for all of us who want to be forgiven and be born again. Jesus personally carried our sins in his body on the cross, so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. Jesus will help you. And even as Jesus was hurt on the cross, he forgave. Even as nails went into his hands, he forgave. Even if you are hurt by your spouse or children, would you forgive? Even if there's disrespect of you, would you forgive? Christ washed feet of his followers. You're supposed to love your wife as Christ loved the church. When is the last time you have washed the feet of your wife? Try it and see what happens. Try it and see what happens. You say, I cannot do it. This is why Jesus said, you need higher help. You need me to do it. You cannot do it on your own. But you need me to be the husband that you ought to be. And then in 1 Peter 3, 7, the apostle Peter spoke to the fathers and said, in the same way you husbands must give honor to your wives, treat your wife with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than you are, but she is your equal partner in God's gift of new life. Treat her as you should so that your prayers will not be hindered. And then, beloved, God hates divorce. And in Malachi chapter 2, verses 15 to 17, didn't the Lord make you one with your wife in body and spirit? You are his. And what does he want? He wants godly children from your union. So guard your heart. Remain loyal to the wife of Euth. For I hate divorce, says the Lord, the God of Israel. To divorce your wife is to overwhelm her with cruelty, says the Lord of heaven's armies. So guard your heart. Do not be unfaithful to your wife. And now, wives, it is Father's Day, and I want you to relate properly to your husbands as well. And so I have to just give you a couple of things from scripture as well. I hope you don't mind. But may I ask you, do you support your husband? Do you honor him? Do you listen to him? In the Garden of Eden, a curse was spoken over Adam and Eve because they sinned. Both Adam and Eve received curses because of sin. And part of the curse for a woman is in Genesis chapter 3, verse 16. That's the curse upon women. And here God said, I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception. In pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be for your husband. And now listen to the last line in this verse. What is the last line? And he shall rule over you. This is not society today. This is not what the world teaches you. But this is what God says. Now, many women fight God in their marriage. They think they're fighting against their husband, and they try and fight for control. But they're fighting against God. Even if your husband is an unbeliever, the Apostle Peter said in 1 Peter chapter 3, verses 1-2, in the same way you wives must accept the authority of your husbands, then even if some husbands refuse to obey the good news, your godly lives will speak to them without any words. They will be won over by observing your pure and reverent lives. So mothers and wives, you might today cry out, you don't know my husband, I can't do it, I can't do it. I agree, I don't know him. But you're going against God, not against what I say. You're going against God. And so beloved, just a word to sons and daughters, our time is up, but sons and daughters, your dad is trying hard, okay? He's trying his best. He's trying to follow the Lord. But he's not always relating to you in a perfect sense. But Ephesians chapter 6, verses 1-3 says, Children, obey your parents and the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and your mother, which is the first commandment with the promise, so that it may go well with you, and that you may enjoy long life on the earth. Some of you young people may want to say to your dad today on Father's Day, Dad, I was disobedient to you, and even now I resist you. Will you forgive me? Will you help me and explain to me where you say I'm going wrong? Will you speak reasonably to me without getting mad? I want to do what you say, but I don't understand. Will you help me to understand that? Ephesians chapter 6, verse 4 says, Fathers, do not exasperate your children. Instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord. And our brother Sam here in our congregation, he's a great example to me. He said the other day to me, Rules without a relationship lead to rebellion. Rules without a relationship lead to rebellion. So brother Sam says to you fathers, You need a relationship with your children, not just rules. So beloved, are there solutions this morning? Is there any hope? Is there any healing possible? Where do we start? May I tell you, Jesus in you is greater than he that is in the world. Will you ask Jesus for help today? How can I do that, you might ask. Well, you can repent of your sins and ask for your help from Jesus. If you're not a Christian yet, you need to ask Jesus Christ, the living son of God, to save you, to forgive you from your sins, and to come into your life. You can be baptized and receive help from on high through the gift of salvation and through Jesus Christ and God's Holy Spirit. For those who are Christians and have fallen short of the glory of God, Solomon received forgiveness, David received forgiveness, you will receive forgiveness, beloved. If your marriage is not well, you may need higher help. You need to surrender new to Jesus, ask him for help, he will in all ways cast you out. You may need counseling, call Pastor Lloyd, he will show you the way to Christian counselors. Perhaps you need prayer to help you with obedience to follow the word of God through the help of Jesus. Perhaps you need prayer for faith that God will help you and your family. Perhaps you need prayer to get you back to read your Bible, to pray every day and to draw near to God. Perhaps you need prayer to be able to forgive and for God to renew genuine love in you for your spouse, for your children. And perhaps you may be hooked already on some of the sins that God has brought into your life. There is a solution, there is an answer, and you can come to Christ and ask him to help you. In a few moments we will stand and sing a closing song and Brother Zachary and his team will lead us. Before we do, may I just remind you what King David did. King David, he cried out to God and he said, I need help! He asked for mercy, he admitted he needed to pray, he asked God to cleanse him, he asked God to create a clean heart in him. He turned around to do the former things he did for the Lord. We need to surrender anew to the Son of God. Let us become living sacrifices. If the Lord has moved your heart, would you today come forward for prayer? Would you on this Father's Day respond to God's drawing in your heart and you say, this Father's Day is a new beginning for me, for my family, and for everything I do. I'm not going to go on the way things are going now. I'm not going to go into those things where Satan wants to destroy me. So please tell Jesus what you need help with. Any father, any wife, any young person to whom God is speaking, I'm going to ask you to come. And again, perhaps there are those here who have never been born again. You might ask, what must I do to be saved? And the Apostle Peter said, repent and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. If you come, Pastor Roy and I will be glad to pray with you individually as well. But now I would like to ask you to stand, please, and for Brother Zachary and his team to come and lead us in that final song. Let's sing together two verses, the last chapter. Let's sing together two verses. Let's sing together two verses.
