Ezekiel 48:8 Summary
Ezekiel 48:8 talks about a special portion of land that will be set apart for God's sanctuary, which will be in the center. This land is 25,000 cubits wide and as long as a tribal portion from east to west. The sanctuary being in the center shows how much God wants to be with His people, much like He was with them in the wilderness (as seen in Numbers 2:1-34). This reminds us that God wants us to make Him the center of our lives, just like the sanctuary was the center of this special portion, and to set apart time and space for worship and communion with Him, as encouraged in Psalm 95:6 and Hebrews 10:25.
