9My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and speak lying divinations. They will not belong to the council of My people or be recorded in the register of the house of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord GOD. 10Because they have led My people astray, saying, ‘Peace,’ when there is no peace, and whitewashing any flimsy wall that is built,Cross References

Ezekiel 13:8 Summary
[This verse means that God is against people who say things that are not true or who claim to have messages from Him when they don't. He wants us to speak truth and only say what He has actually told us, as we see in Ezekiel 13:8 and also in Proverbs 12:22 where it says lying lips are an abomination to God. When we speak or believe things that are not true, it can lead us and others away from God's path, which is why He warns against it in verses like Jeremiah 23:25-32. We should always seek to speak truth and listen to God's voice, rather than following our own ideas or the words of others, and instead look to Scripture for guidance, like in Psalm 119:105 where it says God's word is a lamp to our feet.]
