In times of failure or hardship, the Bible offers hope for a new beginning. Through the prophet Isaiah, God promises to do a new thing, making a way in the wilderness and streams in the desert, as seen in Isaiah 43:18-19. The apostle Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 5:17 that anyone in Christ is a new creation, while Jeremiah 29:11 assures us of God's plan to prosper and give hope for the future. When we confess our sins, 1 John 1:9 reminds us that God is faithful to forgive and purify us, ultimately leading to a future where God will wipe away every tear, as described in Revelation 21:4.

‘He will wipe away every tear from their eyes,’ and there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the former things have passed away.”
As for you, if you direct your heart and lift up your hands to Him, if you put away the iniquity in your hand, and allow no injustice to dwell in your tents, then indeed you will lift up your face without shame; you will stand firm and unafraid. For you will forget your misery, recalling it only as waters gone by. Your life will be brighter than noonday; its darkness will be like the morning. You will be secure, because there is hope, and you will look around and lie down in safety. You will lie down without fear, and many will court your favor. But the eyes of the wicked will fail, and escape will elude them; they will hope for their last breath.”
And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate before the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.
