16 verses

Scripture warns against the dangers of mocking and scoffing, as it can reveal a hardened heart and lead to spiritual blindness. In Proverbs, mocking the poor is condemned, while Psalms encourages believers to avoid the counsel of the scornful. The prophet Isaiah denounces those who taunt and mock God's people, and the apostle Peter warns of scoffers who will arise in the last days, doubting God's promises. According to Galatians, those who sow to the flesh will reap corruption, emphasizing the importance of humility and reverence before God.

But they mocked the messengers of God, despising His words and scoffing at His prophets, until the wrath of the LORD against His people was stirred up beyond remedy.
Stay away from a foolish man; you will gain no knowledge from his speech.
But others mocked them and said, “They are drunk on new wine!”
Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me.
Wine is a mocker, strong drink is a brawler, and whoever is led astray by them is not wise.
