13 Bible Verses on Lamb

13 verses

In biblical tradition, the lamb represents innocence, purity, and sacrifice, as seen in the story of Abraham's willingness to offer his son Isaac, with Isaac asking about the lamb for the burnt offering. The Gospel of John identifies Jesus as the Lamb of God, emphasizing His role as the ultimate sacrifice for humanity's sin. The Book of Revelation portrays Jesus as the victorious Lamb, worshipped by countless angels and redeemed people, while also noting that believers have overcome Satan by the blood of the Lamb. Isaiah 53:7 foreshadows this sacrificial role, describing the Messiah as a lamb led to slaughter, silently enduring suffering.
