9 Bible Verses on Appreciation

9 verses

The Bible teaches that a heart of gratitude and appreciation is essential for a healthy relationship with God and others. In Ruth, we see the value of recognizing God's kindness and provision, as expressed in the blessing "May the Lord repay you for what you have done" (Ruth 2:12). The New Testament encourages believers to let the word of Christ dwell in them, overflowing with thankfulness (Colossians 3:16), and to be content with God's presence, knowing He will never leave them (Hebrews 13:5). This attitude of appreciation is also reflected in the prayers of Paul, who remembers his friends in thanksgiving (1 Thessalonians 1:2), and in the ancient priestly blessing (Numbers 6:24-26), which invokes God's gracious favor and peace.
