Cosmic Gospel

3 sermons

The Cosmic Gospel, a concept rooted in Christian theology, refers to the universal scope of God's redemption plan, encompassing not only humanity but also the entire created order. As stated in Romans 8:22, "the whole creation has been groaning" under the burden of sin, and the Cosmic Gospel posits that Christ's redemption extends to all of creation, ultimately leading to its liberation from corruption (Romans 8:21). This idea is further underscored in Colossians 1:20, which declares that through Christ, God reconciles "all things" to Himself, whether on earth or in heaven. By recognizing the Cosmic Gospel, Christians can deepen their understanding of God's sovereign plan, as expressed in Psalms 103:19, where it is written that God's "dominion is an everlasting dominion," extending over all creation.
