He Sees You

In Hebrew 5.1, when we come to speak about this High Priest, in Hebrew 5.1, we see that the High Priest must be, number one, from among men, meaning he needs to be chosen from the people. This High Priest must be chosen from the people. Number two, he is for the people.

And number three, in things pertaining to God, in things that are to do with God. In other words, the High Priest is taken or chosen from the people, appointed to serve the people in things pertaining to God, meaning the High Priest is to serve people in order to bring them all to God. That is the purpose of this High Priest, serving the people and bringing those people eventually to the Almighty God.

Number four, he is also subject to weakness. Subject means he is also surrounded by weakness. And number five, and no man takes this honor rank of the priesthood to himself unless they are called by God, just as Aaron was.

Who chose Aaron to be the High Priest? God. It wasn't the work of men, it was the work of God and God alone. So nobody is to claim this rank unless God has called you to it.

Unless God has called you to it. Now here we ask a question. Why did God choose Aaron to be the High Priest and not Moses? Why? Yet Moses was closer to God than Aaron.

God spoke to Moses. God revealed so many wonderful things to Moses, not to Aaron. But when it came to choosing the High Priest, God chose Aaron over Moses.

Why is that? Well, Moses was raised in the king's palace in Pharaoh's palace, whereas Aaron was raised in the clay pastes. Aaron was flogged. Aaron was humiliated with the Israelite nation as slaves in Egypt.

He was humiliated with them. And as the High Priest, he must be from the people for the people and things pertaining to God. Therefore, my beloved, it means that Aaron tasted the bitterness of his own people, the Israelite nation, where Moses did not taste their bitterness.

Because Moses was raised in the king's palace. He loved, he lived lovishly and luxuriously. But Aaron copped it along with the people.

In other words, a priest or a bishop or a cardinal or a pope, unless he feels, tastes and lives the pains and the agonies of his people, he can never lead those people to God. If he doesn't share their pains, how can he understand what they go through in order to be merciful and compassionate toward them? If you don't see darkness, you'll never appreciate the light. If you don't experience sickness, you'll never appreciate health.

If you don't appreciate weakness, you'll never appreciate strength, my beloved. So Aaron tasted the bitterness of the Israelite nation, where Moses did not. Therefore, Christ being this high priest, according to Hebrew 8.1, being this high priest had to be in this exact image.

So Christ was from the people, where do we find this? Philippians 2.7, but made himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant and coming in the likeness of men. God became man so that the high priest is chosen from people. This is why God became man.

This is one of the reasons why God became man, because this God who became man was going to be the high priest over his beloved church. But the high priest, one of the conditions, he needs to be chosen from men, from people. This is why God became man and was chosen from the midst of people to be the high priest.

Let's see if Christ was called by God. Well, Psalm 110, verse four, the Lord has sworn and will not relent. You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.

The Lord swore that Jesus is the priest forever in the order of Melchizedek. So this rank was given by God to him. God called Jesus the man to the priesthood rank.

And number three, Christ as the high priest, he needed to be subject to weakness, i.e. surrounded by weakness. Well, when we look at the life of the Lord Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, you will never ever find any human being on the face of this planet that was as poor as the Lord Jesus. Jesus Christ lived the poorest man ever on earth.

Well, let's look. Number one, he was born in a manger in the midst of animals. Who is born in a manger? Only Jesus was born in a manger, the poorest of all poor.

Number two, he had no place to lay his head on, no place to lay his head on. Even those who are homeless, they have somewhere to live. Christ didn't have anywhere to live.

Number three, when he came to compare himself to another human being to see who is as far as weakness is concerned, when he came to compare himself to another human being, as far as weakness is concerned, he could not find anyone weaker than him. So he compared himself to the birds of the sky and the foxes. And he said, the birds have a nest to dwell in, the foxes have a house, a home to live in, but the son of man has nowhere to lay his head down on.

My goodness. From here, our beloved, we see that Christ had tried the poorest and the lowest lifestyle in humanity. He tasted everything we tasted.

He lived every way we lived and even lesser than all. God revealed in the flesh, shared everything with us. And for this, the Holy Bible says about the Lord, for in that he himself, meaning Jesus Christ, for in that he himself has suffered, being tempted, he is able to aid those who are tempted, Hebrews 2.18. Because he suffered and he was tempted, he's able to aid those who are tempted.

So when you go to the Lord Jesus and say, Lord, I am in pain, he'll say, I know, because I lived it. When you go to the Lord and say, I'm crying, he will say, I know, because I lived it. When you go to the Lord and say, I am poor, he will say, I lived it.

When you go to the Lord and say, I'm alone, he will say, I lived it. I lived everything. And more than all of you lived, I know exactly what you go through.

And until the high priest, until the Pope, the Patriarch, the Bishop, the Cardinal, shares the pains and the agonies of his people, he will never lead his people to Christ. Never. He will care about his own comfort zone.

He will care about the palaces. He will care about the limousines. He will care about the red carpet rolled beneath his feet.

He will not care walking on in the streets, barefoot, seeking those who are lost. He will not sit at the gutter and share a meal with a homeless person unless he was homeless as a Pope. Church, wake up before it's too late.

The Lord will not know. The Lord will deny those who chose palaces. The Lord will deny those who lived in mansions as church leaders.

The Lord will deny those who sat in limousines. The Lord will deny those who put millions in their bank accounts and their own people are starving in the streets. The Lord will not know you in the end.

Wake up, my dear friend, before you lose it forever. For you lose it forever. What does it benefit a man if he gains the whole world, but at the end loses himself? Blessed is Charlie Kirk.

He died for a great cause. I believe he has found himself in the end with the Lord Jesus. So it's not about putting on this outfit.

You think you're something special. No, it is your heart, my dear friend, not this outfit. I can make this anyway.

The first time or the first place at the tomb of Lazarus. Second place on Palm Sunday when he went up on on Mount of Olives and cried or wept over Jerusalem. Third time in the garden of Gethsemane.

These three places, the tomb of Lazarus, Jerusalem at the Mount of Olives, weeping over Jerusalem and in the garden of Gethsemane. These three places point out to three events in the human's life, which took place. When the human being sinned, he had to receive the punishment of that sin.

He had to receive the punishment of that sin. The first punishment to the man or humanity. God said to Adam, the day you eat from the forbidden tree, surely you shall die.

What is the first punishment to humanity? Death. Therefore, the Lord Jesus had to cry at the tomb of death. The first punishment, the first tear.

The first punishment, surely you shall die. Christ, God revealed in the flesh, cries at the tomb of death. Lazarus is dead.

He cried for Lazarus. He cried for the human race to decay in that grave because of sin. And through sin, death ended.

The second punishment for the man or humanity lost his peace. Peace here is symbolized by the city. Why? Because in the city, there is all the potentials that are needed for life to really flourish.

In the city, all the potentials are founded there. Example, education, hospitals, you know, work opportunities, you name it. In the little village, not much, but in the city, there is a lot of potentials.

The human being lost the potentials of his peace the day he sinned. Therefore, the Lord Jesus wept over Jerusalem, the city of peace. Through sin, we lost our peace.

Christ cries over the city of peace. Third place or third punishment, the man was expelled from the garden of Eden. Therefore, the Lord Jesus had to enter the garden of Gethsemane in order to bring back humanity once again to the garden.

And with his tears, he came forth to the entire human race in three specific points. With these tears, he's coming forth to the entire human race with three specific points or three specific things the Lord is doing. Number one, the Lord Jesus by crying at the tomb of Lazarus, he came to eliminate death and its power.

Number two, crying for those who are seeking the earth, the city of Jerusalem. Stop seeking earth. Stop seeking material.

Stop seeking this world. The Lord cries for every soul that is seeking this sick world and the end of this sick world is the grave, eternal death. The Lord is crying for people who are seeking the earth.

He cried for the city of Jerusalem. And number three, crying in the garden to bring man, humanity back to the garden. We start at tears number one.

Have I lost you? You're so quiet. We start at tears number one, at the tomb of Lazarus. Lazarus symbolizes all humanity, my beloved.

The word Lazarus in a literal sense means a virgin for a male. And what is a virgin for a male means he is waiting to connect himself to someone. Now when we go, so the word Lazarus means a human seeking to connect.

And when we look at the parable of the Lord Jesus in Matthew chapter 25, where he spoke about the 10 virgins, five wise, five unwise, we see the word virgin is referred to the human being and his connection with God. So the word virgin here represents the entire human race. Humanity is symbolized by this word virgin because God is wanting to connect himself to those who are willing to be connected to him.

And when are you available to be connected when you are a virgin, not married? Are you married to Satan? Are you married to the world? Are you married to money? Are you married to drugs? Are you married to gambling? Are you married to materialism? Because if you are, you are not available for Jesus Christ. The Lord is seeking virgins, meaning available to be connected to him, not to the world. So Lazarus is the representation of the human race.

Those who wish to be virgin, virgins waiting to be connected to Christ, the heavenly groom. And as St. Paul says, for I have betrothed you to one husband, husband is Jesus, to one husband that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. Second Corinthians 11 to four, I have betrothed you to one husband that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

So virgin here is not about if you're single, physically talking, no, no single married. Are you a virgin for the Lord? Are you disconnected from the world awaiting to be connected to Christ? Then the Lord will see you a virgin even if you're married. Are you with me? Here on earth, we are living the engagement period.

When will the wedding take place on the second return of Christ? The first coming, we got engaged to him. The second coming, that's it, we're going to be married. He will take the bride without a blemish, without a stain, perfect like him and bring her to the father's house on his second return.

So over 2,000 years, it's been nothing but an engagement period. Are you still waiting for the groom to come back or has the world deceived you and took you away from your heavenly groom? What are you doing, my son? What are you doing, my daughter? What are you doing? Don't play with this priceless and precious life. You can't afford it if you lose it.

You cannot. You cannot. The next life is not easy.

Trust me, it's not. Hell exists. It is real and it is unbearable for a split moment, unbearable.

You can't say, I don't care. You better care and you better be sensible, responsible human being and you better know what you're doing because you will have to answer for every action and decision you make. Life is not a joke, never was, never will be, my son, my daughter.

Don't say, I just want to have fun. That never exists. Don't be deceived by Satan and don't be deceived by this sick, filthy, ugly world.

Don't. Step on it. Step on it.

You belong to Jesus Christ. You don't belong to the filth of this world and the filth of Satan. He can take it and stick it on his forehead if he's got one.

Be strong. Be strong, my child. Be strong.

The Lord Jesus loved Lazarus, the one whom he raised from the dead. He loved him. But we find there is two more characters along with Lazarus and that is Martha and Mary, the sisters of Lazarus.

So Lazarus is not by himself. He has two sisters, Martha and Mary. When we read, now please pay attention, when we read in John chapter 11 and I'm going to quote you from verse 1, 2, and 5. When we read in John 11 verses 1, 2, and 5, let's look at verse 1. John chapter 11 verse 1. Look what it says.

Now a certain man was sick, Lazarus of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. I'll read it again. Now a certain man was sick, Lazarus of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.

Yet the oldest was Martha, the middle one, Mary, and the youngest was Lazarus. This is the order. Martha the oldest, the middle one, Mary, and the youngest was Lazarus.

But in John 11 verse 1, the name Mary is mentioned, not Martha. And in John 11 verse 2, it was Mary whose brother Lazarus was sick. We see here that the Holy Bible is connecting Bethany, being the town, to Mary.

Martha to Mary and Lazarus to Mary. Everyone is connected to Mary, yet Mary is the middle person. It should have been connected to Martha, but the Holy Bible connects Martha the oldest, Lazarus the youngest, and the town, Bethany, all to Mary.

Now why? Because, my beloved, Mary was the only one who chose the good portion. In Luke 10, 41 to 42, and Jesus answered and said to her, Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things, but one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen the good portion, that which can never be taken away from her. Mary chose the good portion.

What did Mary do? Sat at the feet of the Lord Jesus, where Martha was so chaotic in the kitchen, preparing food, thinking that the Lord Jesus was going to rebuke Mary for being, you know, inconsiderate about her sister Martha. But the Lord rebuked Martha in a nice way and said, Mary chose the good portion. Therefore, my beloved, you Martha, you Lazarus, and the entire town, I will relate it to Mary.

It is the brother of Mary, it is the sister of Mary, and it is the town of Mary, because when Mary chose me, she chose everything with me. When you choose the Lord, you take all. And when you don't choose him, you take nothing.

You take nothing. Now, please allow me to elaborate a little bit on faith. What connects us to Christ is one thing, faith.

This is the only way we are connected to the Lord Jesus through faith. And St. Paul, again, this mighty warrior, St. Paul, in his epistle to the Romans, chapter 10, verse 17, Romans 10, 17, St. Paul says the So then, faith comes by hearing. Faith comes by hearing.

And the only way we are able to be connected to Christ is through faith. And faith can only be received through hearing, not through seeing. And this is why John the Beloved, in his gospel, chapter 1, verse 1, says about the Lord Jesus, in the beginning was the word, logos, and the word was with God, and the word was God.

Now, the word in its nature can only be heard first, not seen. Now, I'm talking to you words, can you see them? Initially, can you see the words? What are you, what are you doing now? You are what? Hearing. You're hearing what? The word.

Please say it aloud. We are hearing the word. Come on.

Again, again. One more time. And who is this word? Christ.

St. Paul says in Romans 10, 17, faith comes through hearing. When you hear the word of Christ and believe in it, accept it, you are connected to Christ. Faith is born in you.

The moment you hear the word and believe in the word, you are now having faith in Christ. You are connected to Jesus Christ of Nazareth. When Mary sat at the feet of the Lord, why would you sit at the feet of the Lord if you do not choose to listen to him? You don't sit at the feet of someone and speak to them.

You sit at the feet of someone saying, you're the teacher, please teach me. So when Mary sat at the feet of the Lord, she says, Lord, I am all ease. I want to hear your word.

I want to be connected to you. I want to have faith in you. Faith in you.

When Mary chose the good portion, i.e. believed in the Lord Jesus, Martha, Lazarus, and the town were all given to Mary. In faith, you receive Christ. And when you receive Christ, you receive everything.

Now, when it came to faith, the Holy Bible connected all to Mary. However, when it comes to love, the Holy Bible says in John 11, 5, the following. Now, Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus.

What's going on? How come in the same chapter, verses 1 and 2, I'll read it again. Verse 1. Now, a certain man was sick, Lazarus of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister and her sister, Martha. Everything is Mary.

In verse 2, it was Mary whose brother Lazarus was sick. Mary was the center of everything. That's when it comes to faith.

But when it comes to love, in John 11, same chapter, verse 5. Now, Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. The Lord Jesus didn't even mention the name Mary. He says Martha first and then her sister without mentioning her name at all.

And then Lazarus. How come he put Martha first, Lord, when it came to love? The Lord is trying to say to all of us, when it comes to my love, I direct my love to the one who is distant more than the one who is close. I shower that person who is distant from me with my love, but I give it driplets to the one who is close to me with my love.

Where do we see this vividly clear? Luke 15, the prodigal son. You know that parable the Lord Jesus spoke when he said there was a certain father who had two sons. The younger one came and said, Dad, I don't want to live under your rule, even though you make me live like a king.

But you know what? I'm not free. I want to be free. I want to go downtown.

I want to go to King's Cross, Las Vegas, Star City Casino. I don't want to live with you, Dad. Every time I want to go out, where are you going? Who are you going with? When are you coming back? Enough of this imprisonment.

I want to get out of this cage and fly high into the filth of this world. And that prodigal son took off so quickly and went to a far off country, meaning living in absolute sin. Because the moment we're distant from God, we are swimming in sin.

And then he came back to his senses after losing everything, including himself. He says, I'm going to say to my dad, I'm not worthy to be called your son because I've ruined it. But please make me like one of those hirelings in your home, in your palace.

When he came back, the father was so happy. He ran. He couldn't wait for his son's comeback.

He ran towards his son, embraced him, clothed him and dressed him up. And then he put a ring in his ring, new shoes. And he slain that fatted cow for him and said to his servants, call the entire city, the entire town and let them rejoice with me because my son was dead and now he's alive.

My son was lost and now he is found. The older son comes, hears all that music and dancing and festivity happening in his father's house, doesn't go in. He calls one of the servants, what is happening in my father's house? What's all this noise? He says to him, your dad received your brother intact.

He got angry. The father came out begging his older son, my son, please come in and join your dad in his happiness and joy. He said, no, all these years I have worked for you.

You didn't even give me a goat to marry with my friends. Yet your son who spent all your wealth in a very wrong way comes back and this is how you do for him. You've never done nothing for me yet I have always been under your authority, submissive to you dad.

I've worked hard all my life. You didn't even give me one goat to have fun with my friends. Yet this sinner, your son, he didn't call him his brother.

He referred him to his dad, your son, not my brother. And what did the father say to that older son? He said, son, what is mine is yours. I don't need to tell you that.

You're the good boy. You've always been good to me. You've never disappointed me.

You've never broke my word, my heart. I don't have to tell you what is mine is yours. But I had to do this for your younger son, younger brother.

Why? Because he is the distant one. He is the troublesome one. He is the naughty one.

I had to welcome him like a royal welcoming because those who are distant from me, I shower them with my love more than those who are close to me. Because those who are close, I don't need to say to them, I love you, I love you, I love you. They should know that I love them already.

Otherwise, how come they are that close to me if it wasn't for my love that brought them this close? I have to show my love more to those who have denied me more than those who have acknowledged me. Ah, see my beloveds, Martha was a person who had not accepted faith in Christ yet, even though she loved him and served him. I'll say it again.

Martha was a person who had not accepted faith in Christ as yet, even though she loved him and served him. Can you love the Lord and not have faith in him? Yes. Now let me ask you this to see where I'm coming from.

Just imagine this for a moment. You are living in that town and at that time and you walk into Martha, Mary and Lazarus house in Bethany and you walk in and you see Martha so busy in the kitchen and Mary sitting at the feet of the Lord as if nothing is happening. Who would you judge and who would you praise? Come on, answer me.

Who would you judge and tell off and who would you praise and glorify? Huh? Wouldn't you honor Martha and wouldn't you just say to Mary, shame on you, wouldn't you? You see the way we see things is not the way God sees things. If we had walked in looking for a girl for our son, definitely you would have chosen Martha because you would have said Martha is the girl that is going to be a good wife and a good housewife and a good mother. Look at Mary, this lethargic, inconsiderate, incompetent woman.

Never you will ever marry my Jono. But you would have praised Martha. The problem is some people work in the house of the Lord to be praised, not the owner of the house to be praised.

And of course, I'm going to love the Lord when I'm being glorified. Huh? Isn't it? Imagine I get all the credit. I get all the benefits.

I get all the glories. Of course, I'm going to say to the world, I love Jesus. I love Jesus because he's given it all for me, man.

I'm taking his place in the name of Christ. I've gained all the glory and all the credits. Of course, I love him and I'll serve him.

But when will I stop serving him and denying him when that position is withdrawn from me? It's taken away. And I was a bishop, very respected. I had a huge, you know, community.

I had a massive church and a very big throne. And then I got kicked out, deposed from the church. What happened? Hey, Bishop Murray, are you going to still love the Lord? Or are you going to walk away from the Lord? No, Lord, I still love you.

I'm not here for position. I'm not here for fame. I'm not here for glories, false glories.

May your name be glorified, even if I live at the gutter. May your name be glorified, Lord Jesus, even if I'm persecuted. May your name be glorified, Lord Jesus, forever, even if I am rejected and persecuted for your name's sake.

And even if I lose an eye, may your holy name be glorified always. Because it matters not that I have a position in the church. It matters not that I'm dressed up in this outfit.

It matters not that millions are listening to this piece of wreck. It matters not, it matters not. What matters is Christ being glorified in the entire world.

That's what matters. Therefore, I'll sit at your feet and let me cop the blame. I'll sit at your feet and let me be the bad one.

I'll sit at your feet and let me be the inconsiderate, the inhumane. Let me be humiliated. But I have chosen the good portion.

Have faith in the Lord. Be connected to the Lord. Mary's sitting at his feet.

Martha is very distant. The kitchen, I resemble that with this chaotic world. Man, I'm cleaning, I'm washing, I'm chopping all those groceries that I've just bought, and the veggies, and I'm trying, I'm boiling the water, and I'm getting the salt, and I'm getting the spoon, and the fork, and the knife.

This is this world, nothing but chaos, noise, pollution. Busy with what? Running for what? Achieving what? Gaining what? The end of this world is nothing but a grave. What are you going to get? What are you going to take with you? Nothing.

But when you sit at the feet of the Lord, the town is named after you, and all your siblings are named after you. The whole family belongs to you now. The house belongs to you.

The whole family, and the whole town, and the whole world, and heaven, and the heaven of all heavens is all yours when Christ is your good portion. But look at the Lord, even though, and yet we are distant from him, i.e. living in total denial of him, yet his love reaches out even to those who have denied him. Amazing.

Amazing. Amazing. My son, my daughter, don't ever think for a split second, for a moment, that whatever you've done wrong, it is too late to repair it.

Whatever you have done, it is too late to come back. Don't ever let anyone, including Satan, who is absolutely, he is the best at this, he will put every negative thought in you to get you to lose hope. Don't ever surrender to that kind of a thought.

Step on it, and whatever you've done, and wherever you've gone, whatever sins and sins you have committed, come back to the Lord Jesus and say, Lord, I repent from my heart, from the bottom of my heart, because I can't act before the Lord Jesus, I can't lie, I can't falsify, I cannot bribe the Lord Jesus, but one thing the Lord will accept my repentance, when King Song of Solomon says in chapter 6 verse 5, which was the very beginning of our topic today, take away, move away your eyes from me, because they have overcome me. And then he will say to you, you were my son, you'll always be my son.

Don't worry about it. Your dad can fix anything and everything. Nothing stands in Jesus Christ of Nazareth way, nothing.

So wherever you are now, and however you're feeling now, empty, lost, confused, broken, you've hit rock bottom, nothing's too late. For as long as we live in this flesh, it takes just a moment of turning back and facing Christ once again. That's all it takes.

The rest is history. You need to believe in this, you need to trust in this, and you need to live this, because Christ is God. God never lies.

I am with you all the days of your life, and until the end of all ages. I will never leave you orphans. You believe in me, even if you die, you will live.

And if you receive my body and blood, you will live in me forever. Come back to the Lord Jesus, be close to him, to his word, and to his holy church, to the sacraments, my beloved. You need to come to church and receive the body and the blood of Christ regularly.

Don't walk away from the Lord Jesus for the sake of this world that is all filth, filth. The people of the world are sick. See what happens? The world can't stand the truth.

So when it can't stand the truth, and can't overcome the truth, it tries to kill the truth, but not realizing he can't kill it. You thought he killed Charlie? The Lord will raise a million Charlie that will be much more powerful, and a much louder voices. Who are you kidding? But you see, the world is deceived by Satan.

You know those evil doers in this world that do evil things, that think can control governments and bring evil laws. They think they're in control, not realizing God who art in heaven is laughing at them. A time will come, all of them will have to pay the price.

All of them. Where is Augustus Caesar? Dead, rotted, gone with the wind. I don't give one penny about him.

Don't ever walk away. Say to clubbing, clubbing, I'm grabbing you and I'm shoving you down the throat of satan. Say to drugs, I'm grabbing you and I'm shoving you down the throat of satan.

Say to alcoholism, I'm grabbing you and I'm shoving you down the throat of satan. Say to whatever ambitions you have in this world for this world, take this whole world and shove it in his throat and say satan now you can eat it. Let me see what you're going to do with it.

Don't ever use the world and its temptation to make the son of God to fall into temptation and sin. Don't ever. My dad, Jesus Christ, crushed your head.

You are a defeated enemy. I'm not wasting my time with you nor with this sick world of yours. So take it and shove it down your throat.

Don't go where Christ doesn't go. Don't approve what Christ doesn't approve. Doesn't approve.

You have Christ. No matter how many times you sin, get up and come running to Christ. No matter how times you deny him, no matter how many times you fail him and you feel miserable, disappointed, get up and run to Christ because he is waiting to heal every wound of yours.

He's waiting to save you and redeem you. He didn't come for nothing. He came to make you the child of God, bring you back to the very image which God had created you with.
