Sermon Transcription
Thank God for this beautiful music. And the presence of the Lord in his house tonight. Now, tomorrow night we're having a youth meeting here. I believe it starts at 7 o'clock. So pray for us. To be a great moving of his Lord's spirit among the young people. I want you to turn to Isaiah the 43rd chapter, please. My message tonight is a prophecy. God has risen to defend his name. I say it again. God has risen to defend his name. In fact, he's declared war on all who have tried to abuse and abominate his name. This afternoon I was given a very strong prophetic word about what is coming to your country. And to close of this particular message, I want to share this with you. And if you don't believe in shouting, then something's not scriptural in your life. Because there should be a shout tonight when you hear the good news from the Lord. There ought to be a joy. A wonderful thing break out in the house of God. Let's go to Isaiah 43 right after we pray. Holy Spirit fall upon us tonight. Give us ears to hear what the Spirit has to say. Oh my God. We must have you. We must hear from heaven. Not from a man, but from the word of God. Lord, we preach your word. This is not speculation. This is not something we dreamed of. This is the word of God. And we stand on the word. We believe the word. We are on the scriptures tonight. And we believe what you promised. God, let there be a shout here tonight. God, let there be joy in this house tonight. When we hear the good news that God has risen to defend his holy name. Amen. Isaiah 43. 18-21. 18-21. 18-21. 18-21. God's anointing is on you, my friend. Amen. Say it out. Nothing is going to stop the word from going forth tonight. No devil in hell. No demon in America or here. God's going to proclaim his word. He said, remember not the former things. He's not talking about the scripture. He said, but sum up everything I've ever done. Sum up all the miracles you've read about. Remember everything that I've done. I opened the Red Sea. Remember the miracles in your own life. In the past. And in the church. He said, don't even consider these things of old. In comparison to what I'm about to do, I will do a new thing. And when it springs up, when it begins, I'll tell you about it. I will announce it. You will know about it. I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. He said, there's going to be a new shout of praise. And worship come among his people. And here's the prophetic word, and I'll give it to you straight and simple. God is going to defend his name that has been maligned and ridiculed and mocked. He will no longer allow any nation or any Supreme Court, anybody to mock his name without consequences. Isaiah 48, 11. Just skip over to Isaiah 48. Verse 11. For my own sake, even for my own sake, will I do it? For how should my name be polluted? I will not give my glory to another. Look at me, please. God said, I'm going to do a new thing. And it has to be about the glory of my name. He said, I'm not going to do it for your sake. We're unworthy. We have been praying in some measure for a hundred years or longer. Oh God, do something about what's happening in our nations. God, the enemy seems to be in control. And we know there are scriptures that invite us to pray, command us to pray. One of the best known scriptures of all. If my people are called by my name and humble themselves, I'll hear from heaven and heal their land. That's been prayed for years. And we've not seen the healing of the land. We see the devil apparently taking authority. We see Islam rising in power. We see our courts making law after law, trying to remove God from our society. We see homosexual marriages now being legalized around the world. We see pornography and filth as we've never seen it in history. Folks, if you believe the devil's winning, just wait. He is not winning. God said, I'm going to arise. I'm going to defend my name that has been polluted among the nations. He said in Ezekiel 24, I acted for the sake of my own name that it shall no longer be profaned in the sight of the nations. He repeats it in verse 22. Two times the prophet Ezekiel says exactly what prophet Isaiah said. Jeremiah believed the same thing and preached the same message. O Lord, though our iniquities testify against us, do it for your own namesake. Our backslidings are many. We have sinned against you. But now move against it. Do something about it. Not for our sake. Not because we've prayed. Though prayer has that impact and power. All the prophets have said the same thing. There comes a time when God said, that's enough. You have mocked my name. You have cast my name into the dirt. God said, now I will arise and I will say enough and I will deal with it for my own namesake. You find this all through the word of God. He said, behold, the former things are come to pass. A new thing I will now declare. Before they spring forth, I will tell you about them. Turn now to Isaiah 42. Isaiah 42. Please follow me in your Bible. Let me hear the rustling of these leaves. I can tell when you're turning. I can hear you turn the leaves. I can hear you turn the pages. 42 verses 13 and 14. Go ahead. God said, he's going to stir his anger. He is going to come as a roaring lion to defend his own name. He said, for a long time I've been patient. For a long time I've been holding back. I've watched as the homosexuals watch march down New York City streets. 500,000 homosexuals waving flags. Jesus was homosexual. Naked. See them march into the cathedrals and spit and try to tear it up. We have seen the laws that have come forth to try to bind the church of Jesus Christ. The same has happened in Belarus. All kinds of laws and regulations to hinder the work and the moving of God's work. The building of churches. And I'm telling you here and now, God is saying, enough. I have been patient long enough. I have been quiet long enough. I have seen a nation that's been under chain for years. That have not had the freedom to preach my word as it should. They've been bound and chained. And this afternoon, the Holy Spirit came upon me. I told you I'm not a prophet. But I do move sometimes in a prophetic stream. And I know what I heard. Now folks, you know we didn't come here for your money. We paid our own hotel and our own airfare. We have taken no offerings from you. Our organization paid for the food for this conference. We didn't come to take anything out of you. We came broken hearted before the Lord. We came here to deliver a message from God's heart. We've not claimed to be great preachers. But I know what I hear from heaven. And I know what I heard. I saw this nation chained. And bound. The enemy trying to bind the church. Principalities and powers of darkness. Trying to chain worship and praise. A whole society under fear. And under bondage. I come into your city. I see a statue of Lenin. It's square. The remains of principalities and powers of darkness of the past. And I was told to come to this meeting tonight. By the Holy Spirit. And announce to you. That God has declared war. And God has already risen up. And I'm not afraid to proclaim it. God has declared war. It's a war that you're not going to have to fight. And one day not too long away from here. Without a fire being shot. And you won't even know how it happened. But Mr. Lenin will not be there anymore. He is coming down. You do not have to fight this country. You don't have to speak against your nation. You're to be patriotic. But let me tell you. There is no supreme court. There is no president. There is no rulership. No government. Can do one thing. To stop when God says this is it. And folks, what I saw in this spirit. God's sending angels to this country. And they're pulling chains apart already. The chains are coming off. God said I will defend my name. I tore down the iron curtain. And I tore down the bamboo curtain. And I'm tearing down the Belarus curtain. And the day is coming. You're going to build churches anywhere you want to preach. You're going to preach on any street. You're going to hold public meetings anywhere you choose. And thousands of young people are going to come to Christ. And the glory of God is going to come upon this nation. And there's going to be a shout. And the fear that has bound you for years. Is being broken even now. It's tonight. God is announcing it. To the church of Jesus Christ. We have a king who rules over us. We have a king who rules over us. And he is in power and authority. And no one among us has to touch anybody. Because the angel of the Lord has come. A fighting angel. With a sword in his hand. And I saw him with big cutters that cut off chains. And he's here tonight. To cut some chains that have to be cut. God said I've been patient. I've held my peace. I have been still. I refrained myself. Now will I cry like a travailing woman. I will destroy and I will devour. I don't know how God's going to do it. And when I'm gone. And I don't profess to be anyone great. But when I go back to New York City. In weeks to come. Things may get a little bit more difficult than you've ever seen it. And it may last for a season. Until this sounds like a false prophecy. But I tell you under authority of God's word. That day is not far off. That everything I speak to you. Is going to come to pass. And I'll tell you something else. When this happens. If I'm invited back to this country. I'm going to be in some auditorium. And I'm going to be preaching to thousands. Others will be coming and preaching to thousands. And God is going to save a multitude. And no law can stop it. The Bible says of the increase of His government. There shall be an increase. The Bible says of the increase of His government. And peace there shall be no end. There's a new government being set up. The government of the Holy Spirit. Oh and if your officials can hear this. That's nothing to fear. That's nothing to be afraid of. The Holy Ghost. In government. If I were in government of any country. I would be afraid of the Holy Ghost. I would know that all power and authority is in His hands. I would know that all power and authority is in His hands. And the Holy Ghost is taking over. I'm so excited about it I can hardly stand up here. I'm so excited about it I can hardly stand up here. Let me tell you what He's going to do. The Holy Spirit's going to do what He's been trying to do for centuries. He's going to bring a Holy Remnant into the rest that's been promised to God's people. Do you remember what is written in Hebrews? God offered a rest to the children of Israel. This rest is simply a complete confidence in the faithfulness of God. God will take care of us. God has made a covenant promise. I don't have to be afraid. God is going to keep me. God is going to protect me. And God is going to answer prayer. And the evidence of faith is rest. If you believe, you're going to come into rest. And here's what God has been trying to do. It was offered to Israel and they rejected it. The writer of Hebrews said they entered not in. It was offered to the time of the prophets. The time of the kings. It was denied. It was rejected. And people lived in worry and fear. And they murmured and complained. And they were discouraged constantly. And God's wondering, will I ever have a people? These are the end times. I have not yet seen a people enter in. He said it's still offered. It's still yours. He said fear ye. Lest the promise being offered you. You rejected like the past generations have rejected. And here's what God's new thing is. In a time of turmoil. In a time when economies are collapsing. In a time of war. Think of Iran and Iraq. Afghanistan. Think of 9-11. Think of the collapse of our stock market two years ago. Think of all the turmoil around the world. Think of Israel and the battle and the struggle there. Very few Christians have entered into the rest. We are afraid of the economy. We are afraid of our jobs. We are afraid that there won't be food for our children. In the United States there's terrible fear. Because they understand that the terrorists are not trying to come in with missiles that are fired from the shoulder. Heat seeking missiles. An attempt to blow the president's plane out of the sky. They're afraid of bombs, suitcase bombs. That will destroy hundreds of thousands in New York or other major cities. There's a lot of fear in the world today. But I tell you this. God is going to have a holy remnant. From Israel. New York. Belarus. All nations. China. All over the world. The Holy Spirit is going to bring a people into the rest. Now we understand where that rest begins. That's in the finished work of the cross. Where we believe that Christ forgives us. And he cleanses us. That we have no righteousness of our own. But we have a righteousness of Christ. And we rest in that righteousness. But there's a practical side to this rest also. And that has to do with losing or having no more fear of man. Go to Isaiah 57. Verses 12 and 13. I'm sorry, Isaiah 51. Isaiah 51. Verses 12. Start at 12 and 13. Why should you be afraid of man? And the son of man that's made like grass. Why are you afraid of man? Or governments. Or the future. Or your personal safety. God has made a promise in this book. That you will never have to beg for bread. He's made a promise to keep his people. You will always have enough to eat. There will be a covering for your head. He will protect his beloved. But he needs a people. And he's going to bring a people. Who are not going to fret. They're not going to fear. The Bible says. Fret not because of those who bring about wicked devices. Fret not because of evil doers. In the United States. They have outruled the Bible and God from our schools. As I told you. They're trying to outrule him from every area of our society. And in the headlines recently. There was a story of a judge down in the state of Alabama. He's a good Christian. And he had the Ten Commandments carved in a huge piece of granite. And he placed it in front of the courthouse. Just the Ten Commandments. And he was told it's against the law. It had to be removed. Hundreds of Christians rose up in anger. And all over the United States. And I remember the anger that was in me. I said, Oh God. You're not even allowed to hang the Ten Commandments anywhere in a public building. A government building. A new law being introduced. That no judge can be appointed. If he believes in any God. Jehovah or Allah. In other words, he has to be an atheist. And I see these things. And when I heard about that judge being ordered to remove. In fact, they came and picked it up and removed it. And there was. There was an anger in my heart. But I remember what the word says. Threaten not yourself because of evil doers. In other words, don't let them provoke you. Don't let it get in your spirit. We're here to preach the gospel. We're not here just to fight the government. You'll be a good citizen. But you're going to see and hear things that alarm you. There's a new constitution for the United States of Europe. It's being drawn up and concluded right now. And they have declared that God must not be mentioned in this constitution for Europe. And if you're not careful. You can make your spiritual blood boil inside of you. But God says don't fret. God has everything under control. God is going to act to defend his own name. They cast my name out. And when I was praying about that Ten Commandments. And that judge. Holy Spirit came to me. Says don't worry about that marble Ten Commandments being removed. He said the day they removed that. I wrote my law. In the hearts of one million young people in this country. In the law in the heart. That stone doesn't mean anything. I'm sending a youth awakening. And I'm writing my law. In the hearts of the young people. And no judge can remove that law. No government can remove that law. Because it's written in the hearts. Hallelujah. David asked. Oh Lord. How long shall the wicked triumph? How long shall they speak these terrible things? How long shall the workers of iniquity boast themselves? And he said Lord they're breaking to pieces your people. He said they break our hearts. We weep over what we see and we hear. And David cries out. God how long will you allow this? They're speaking against your name. They're breaking our hearts. They're boasting against you. And they're saying there is no God. Here's how God answered David. He said David. I made the ear. Do you think I don't hear them? I made the eye. Do you think I don't see them? I have chastened the heathen. Shall I not correct them? I am the one who teaches knowledge. You think I don't know what's going on? Yes they set their mouth against the heavens. And their tongue walks through the earth. And the righteous say. Does God know about this? And God said. As a dream when one is dreaming. So oh Lord when you wake up. Thou shalt despise their image. And in a moment you will bring it to desolation. God said don't worry about it. You keep praying. But now I want you to change how you pray. I want you to start worshiping me. And praising me. Because the battle is no longer yours. It's my battle. And it's in my hands now. And you begin to praise him. And you begin to pray this prayer. Rise oh God. Rise oh Zion. And defend your holy name. Do what you have to do. And folks the new thing God is doing. He is putting a militant faith in the hearts of his people. Who are going to trust in the mighty arm of God. And they will speak with faith and authority. Our king rules. God has everything under control. We are not cowards. We don't bow down to idols. We will not be chained. We will not be bound. Because we serve a God. Who has declared war. And he struts forth his hand. And I thank God. That I'm here tonight. To be a part of the beginning. And see God. At this time in history. Breaking the chains. In this wonderful glorious nation. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Glory to God. God must have a militant praise. I am shocked everywhere I go. And how unscriptural so many people are. I go to Romania. Nobody raises their hands to praise God. I said what's going on? Well we used to have a dictator. And they raised their hands to the dictator. Some bishop made a rule I guess. We will not raise our hands. That's unscriptural. My Bible said lift holy hands to the Lord. It's in the Old Testament. It's in the New Testament. It's not Pentecostal. It's not charismatic. It's not Baptist. It's the book. It's the word of God. I go to another country. And I have a group singing. And they're happy. They're former drug addicts. And when they get happy. They rejoice. And they clap their hands. And they praise the Lord. I've been working with drug addicts for 40 years. And every time they get saved. And Jesus sets them free from drugs. They raise their hands. Nobody tells them. They clap their hands. Because they have the joy of the Lord in their hearts. The Bible says. Clap your hands. And make a joyful noise unto the Lord. I have pastors visit me. From Russia. From Ukraine. From other former Russian satellite nations. And they see thousands of people. There's a shout. Everything's in divine order. And people are praising. There's a shout you could hear in a block away. And I see them sit there. And after the service. They say, that's terrible. That's unscriptural. I said, what? Show it to me in the Bible. I said, what my Bible says. Well, we suffer. You have no right to clap your hands unless you've been in prison or suffered. But that's not the Bible. And let me tell you what's about to happen. The Spirit of God has already begun to move as never before in the history of your country. And I'm not going to be the only one telling you this. Others are telling you this. They're going to come from every nation to tell you that. Some among you are telling this. Some people are going to be saved by the thousands. And they're going to want to worship. And they're going to want to praise God. And let me say this with love and compassion. Some of you here tonight. Even as pastors. You're so bound by your tradition. You're so bound by deacons and elders. You say, well, this is the way it's always been done. But the young people that come to your church. They're not going to sit there and moan and groan. They're going to want to be loose and praise God. I'm not talking about running wild around the church. I'm talking about a Holy Ghost divine order. And when the Holy Ghost is coming and He's real. He makes sure that everything is in divine order. But if you don't see this. And if you don't open up your heart in your church. You're going to wind up in five or ten years. With a handful of elderly people. Mostly women. God bless them. Some wonderful mothers of Zion. And when they die. Your church is dead. And the doors are going to close. Because this is a day of praise. And worship. And divine holy order. And if God is going to move in your country. You better get your house in order. Because He's going to break the chains. I'm not trying to change anybody's tradition. I love this choir music. I thank God for those times when there's this holy quiet worship. In Times Square Church. The Holy Ghost moves sometimes. We know what it's like. To sit for a half an hour. In total silence. Not one sound. Because the Holy Ghost is so strong. And then suddenly He breaks forth. And the joy of the Lord comes on the house. Prostitutes. Alcoholics. Rich people. Poor people. We have people come into our church. Transvestites. Men dressed as women. You see ten or twelve of them sitting. And over here somebody in shorts. And tight clothes. Nobody's trying to correct them. Nobody's saying you're dressed wrong. Go out the door. They know they're transvestites sitting there. But folks if I stand there and rebuke them. They'll walk out the door and I have no chance. But I know. That if I preach the gospel. And the Holy Ghost is in my church. God's going to save them. And correct them. And the Holy Ghost is going to tell them how to dress. And I saw a whole bunch of transvestites. Nobody said one word. Take your dress off and put on pants of a man. The Holy Ghost did it. One by one. We've married them now. And they're a godly man. And the girls take off their shorts. The Holy Ghost tells them to do it. I don't have to go to them. Because we have precious mothers of Zion. We have other young people. This puts arm around them. And pray with them. And say you're welcome. And they look at everybody else. And say they suddenly feel strange. Holy Ghost is doing it. Cleaning them up. Telling them how to dress. In honor to God. To glorify His name. Oh Jesus help us. God made me a promise. If I would deliver His word tonight. Just as He told me. He would break the chains. In this place tonight. If everyone. Who has been bound. And afraid. To release your spirit. And lift your voice. And praise. The God who has risen. I didn't come here to change anybody. I came here to preach Christ. And prophesy His word. And let the Holy Ghost do His thing. But folks if you believe what you heard tonight. There's no way you can sit still. You remember what the Lord told the king of Israel. The army had surrounded him. He said this is not your battle. You just praise me. And the priests began to praise. And the people began to praise. And they began to worship. And God came. This is not your battle. This is not mine. And I'm not trying to work something up in the flesh. There's nothing I hate more than flesh. That the Holy Spirit wants to come down tonight. In this building. In this place. And He wants to hear us worship. And praise His holy name. If you believe God's going to do a great work in this country. I gave you scripture tonight. I gave you not something out of my head. But out of God's heart. And what God is asking of us. Is to praise Him. With a shout. Lift up your voice. And worship. And praise His holy name. Without fear. That somebody's going to get out of order. Just wait. Just wait. There's a shout coming to this country. A shout. This is going to be one of the churches where fire burns. And I'll tell you, Pastor. When the young people come. Let them have their own night. Make sure you're there. Let them sing. Let them praise. Let them clap their hands. Let them worship. Let them have freedom. In the Holy Spirit. Those who are offended. Let them stay home. Now, I hope you understand me. I didn't say stay out of the church. Just put that night that you give to the young people. Boy, oh boy. I'm not going to try to make anything happen tonight. All I'm going to tell you is what the Holy Ghost says. This can be the beginning. Of a release. In every church in this country. Of a spirit of praise. And worship. And a new song. Like you've never known. I wish you'd quit talking about Pentecost. Or charismatic. Those are words. These are words. They have no meaning anymore. The young people don't know what you're talking about. This is a new age. And Jesus is about to come. And the devil has the idea. And with this I'm going to close. He has the idea that when Jesus comes. All the Christians. Are going to come limping in. As cripples. Sad. And depressed. And say, I finally made it. I'm so tired. I'm so weak. That's not what my Bible says. My Bible says. We're going to come leaping and jumping. We're going to come praising Him. In the church. Stand to your feet. Lift your hands. And I want you to praise God from the bottom of your heart. I want you to lift your voice as loud as you've ever lifted it. Oh God come. Defend your holy name. The battle is the Lord's. We just praise you. We worship you. We glorify your holy name. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Glory to Jesus. Glory, glory, glory. Hallelujah. We praise you Jesus. We glorify your name. Set this church free. Set this church free. Let the praise of God arise. Hallelujah. We worship you. Hallelujah. Let the glory of God arise. Hallelujah. We worship you Lord. We praise you Jesus.
