The of all the praise that we could give him, he's worthy. Thank you, Lord. Well, giving honor to the Spirit of Christ on this morning and to my dear brother Phil, truly I am indeed blessed to stand before you today. I thank the Lord because, you know, the Lord does order the steps of a righteous man. And I thank God that on yesterday, my steps were ordered by the Lord. I was at my husband's shop. We own the frame shop in Riverside Plaza in Hackettstown. And all of a sudden, out of the clear blue, I said to him, I want coffee and a donut. Just out of the clear blue, jumped in my car and I went to Dunkin Donuts. And while I was standing there, you know, I've always been taught as a little girl that one saint will plant the seed, another may do the watering, and then the other may do the tilling. And while I was standing there, God has always had me to find favor with these people at Dunkin Donuts. And we go there all the time. And while we're standing there talking, I see Muhammad was beckoning out in the driveway. And he said, and he was pointing to me. And brother Phil came in. And what a blessing to my soul it was. I thank the Lord because sometimes you feel like you're out here on the battlefield, almost alone. And I know that my two sisters can realize and attest to what I am saying. You know what you believe in. It just feels like, Lord, is anyone hearing our words? You know, we're out here. We're striving. We're trying to do the will of God. But Lord, where are the people that you have promised us? And I thank the Lord that when I shared with brother Phil that the Lord also has called my husband and I to this mountain. And let me just introduce my family right quick. This is my husband, Deacon Charles Corley. And this is our youngest son, Andrew Corley. So the Lord called us to this mountain. And the Lord, we kept praying, Lord, send a shepherd, send a good man after your own heart. And the Lord came back and gave us a word that if no one else came, we are here. We are the saints of God. We carry the word within our hearts. David said, that word have I hidden my heart that I might not sin against thee. So if you're walking upright before the Lord, expect to be used. Expect to be used. God will take you at your confession and expect to be used. So the Lord has blessed my husband and I through perseverance that there are many things that are transpiring on this mountain. And I had asked the Lord, it involved church property. And I had asked the Lord, I said, well Lord, who are you going to put in this building? You know, who do you want in this building? And the Lord said, just keep on doing what you've been doing. Just keep seeing about the property. And thank the Lord that now we, a property, piece of property that's been written up in the newspaper and everything, no one could buy it. No one could rent it. Don't you know that the Lord gave me favor with these people and they want to sell the building to us. So we thank the Lord for that. This is a situation that everybody said was hopeless, but we hadn't heard from God yet. So we thank the Lord and we pray that in the near future that the fellowship will get stronger and stronger and that we will take this mountain for Christ. We will take this mountain. You know what? Sometimes you have to take the city by force. And the word of God teaches us that we should be able to stand in the face of a Muslim, a Hindu, whatever, and tell them about the burning love of Jesus Christ. They think right now the Muslims, just to take a few more minutes, the Muslims this month for the next 30 days are in a fast called Ramadan. They believe that the only way that they can earn favor from God or with God is by works. If I deny myself and if I say my prayers, the prescribed hours of the day, then that will earn a place for me in heaven. They don't understand that there is a freedom in God, that we don't have to earn it by works, but we are under complete grace, complete, beautiful, wonderful grace that we can't earn it. It's not how much you come to church. It's not how much you say, how many times you say prayers, but because of God's grace, it makes us want to pray. It makes us want to fast. It makes us want to love our brothers and our sisters. These are the things that come. These are the attributes of God and these are the things that he wants his people to know. We people of God, as I sit down and take my seat, know who you are. You are a royal priesthood, a royal priesthood. We are not the dregs of the earth, but we are God's best because of the circumcision of our hearts, loving the Lord Jesus Christ, accepting him, receiving him as our Lord and Savior. We are the best, and I believe that the people of God should have the best. No matter what it may be, we should have the best. So pray our strength in the Lord that I may continue going up this holy way, and I will be the daughter that the Lord is calling for in these last and evil days. We are living in the last day, saints. It's time for us to get on fire. Tell everybody that Jesus Christ is Lord. Get on fire. God will present you with opportunities to be a witness for him. Get on fire, people of God. God has got many blessings in store for us. God bless you. Glory to the Lord. Amen. I want to ask if everyone got a bulletin. Who did not get one? Lift your hand up. All right. Children not included. I met Jane and Suzanne, I don't know, about 10 years ago, something like that, and we were talking. I don't remember how I met them, but their fellowship has really been a blessing to me. They are sisters that love the Lord with all their heart, and it's just wonderful to be around saints like that. It kind of rubs off on you, and so they've been missionaries in Colombia, and before that in Guatemala, right? Okay, and they've been able, blessed, I guess, to be able to travel together on these different trips. Right now, they attend Times Square Church. They live in the Allentown area where my parents live, and I'd really encourage everyone to come to the fellowship afterwards to spend some time of fellowship there. It'll be a real blessing to your heart, I know, so I guess without any further ado, I'd like to introduce Jane and Suzanne. It's a real blessing to be here, and we're just going to start and sing a few songs with the children, some of the songs that we sing with the kids, and then we'll just go from there, and we'll show some slides because it would be good for the kids to see some of the slides because there's a lot of children that we worked with, so they would enjoy those, I'm sure. She's Jane, and I'm Suzanne. The first song is Hail Jesus, You're My King, so it's kind of like an echoey song, so we'll sing it, and then you can repeat it with us. Hail Jesus, you're my king. Hail Jesus, you're my king. Your life raised me to sing. Your life raised me to sing. I will praise you all my days. You're perfect in all your ways. Oh, hail Jesus, you're my lord. And I will obey your word. I want to see your kingdom come. Oh, not my will, but yours be done. Glory, glory to the lamb. Oh, you take me into the land that Jesus reigns. How wonderful you are. Oh, hail, hail, line of Judah. Oh, how wonderful you are, wonderful you are. Glory, glory to the lamb. Oh, you take me into the land that Jesus reigns. How wonderful you are. How wonderful you are. We're going to sing a song in Spanish, and it's called Gozo, Gozo, Gozo Yo Queria, and it means joy, joy, the joy that I wanted, and then it says, I was looking for it, but I didn't find it, and then it says, then Jesus came, the giver of life, and he gave me the joy, the joy that I wanted, and so we're just going to sing that. We should sing that a lot with the kids. We need your help. All the kids, everybody. I think you might even know it. If you're saved and you know it, clap your hands. You know that song? Yeah? Everybody? If you're saved and you know it, clap your hands. If you're saved and you know it, clap your hands. If you're saved and you know it, then your life will surely show it. If you're saved and you know it, clap your hands. If you're saved and you know it, stomp your feet. If you're saved and you know it, stomp your feet. If you're saved and you know it, then your life will surely show it. If you're saved and you know it, stomp your feet. If you love one another, shout amen. If you love one another, shout amen. If you love one another, then your life will surely show it. If you love one another, shout amen. If you love to praise the Lord, do all three. If you love to praise the Lord, do all three. Amen. If you love to praise the Lord, then your life will surely show it. If you love to praise the Lord, do all three. Amen. Glory to God. Colby, yeah. It's like salty or... Anyway, it's called Jesus Makes Your Heart Brand New. Jesus makes your heart brand new. Jesus makes your heart brand new. He died for me and He died for you. He died for me and He died for you. And if you ask Him in your heart, if you ask Him in your heart, He'll give you a brand new start. Sound off, Jesus. Praise His name, Jesus, Jesus. Jesus died for sin, rose again, He lives. I don't care what my friends say. I don't care what my friends say. I'm gonna praise Him anyway. I'm gonna praise Him anyway. And I don't care what my friends do. I don't care what my friends do. I'm gonna keep my own heart true. I'm gonna keep my own heart true. Sound off, Jesus. Praise His name, Jesus, Jesus. Died for sin, rose again, He lives. We're gonna serve God side by side. We're gonna serve God side by side. Shout the good news far and wide. News far and wide. In the cities and in the streets. In the cities and in the streets. We're gonna tell all those we meet. We're gonna tell all those we meet. Sound off, Jesus. Praise His name, Jesus, Jesus. Died for sin, rose again, He lives. Okay, we'll sing one more. It's called God is so good. I think we all know that one. And we'll sing it in English and then we'll sing it in Spanish. Because it's real, real simple. He is so good to me. He is good to me. He is good to me. He is so good to me. You're exhausting. That's what happens when you're really crazy. We have some slides that we're gonna just show you from when we were in Guatemala. And we have a set from Guatemala and Colombia. We went to Guatemala in 19... I think 1991. In 1991. We were sent out from a local church here in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Central Assembly of God. And we went with people for missions. And the Lord just worked everything out. It was a time when our local church was going through a lot of changes in leadership. And even we had no pastor at the time when we went out of our church. But the leadership sent us out. And what happened was we had no pastor. We were looking for a pastor. And the Lord put it on our hearts to go to Guatemala. And when we finally decided that the Lord was sending us, we got a new pastor who had been a missionary. So he really helped send us out. The Lord does everything, like you said, just to order our steps as he has already planned. So we went to Guatemala in 1991 and stayed for two years. We learned to speak Spanish there. We're still learning. And we spent six months studying the language. So the Lord took us through a lot of different things to get us where we are today. But the whole time we were able to be a witness for him and tell people about the love of Jesus. We do a lot of singing with the guitar. We don't really preach, but we teach with our lives and with the music we sing. So we'll show some slides and then Jane will share a little bit about how the Lord called her. And then I'll share a little bit too. We'll just talk as we show you the slides so you can understand what the pictures are. Okay, this is the city. This is in Guatemala City. We were with a group and we're just kind of sitting there at a park. This is on the street, the girls, the young girls and boys. I think she was selling soap and hair combs and brushes. A lot of them do that to help make a living for their families. And here's some little children at the airport. And they were also selling little bracelets, handmade things and things for your hair. And they were so tiny and they were selling them. And they're dressed in such beautiful colors. They have a lot of different colorful clothes. Here's in a bus. That's always an experience. You're sitting in a bus and these women, you stop and they come on and they're selling different foods. Or they have soda bottles all in that little basket. And they have chicken and different types of fried foods and they sell it to you. This is just a mountain and a big lake there. Here's the mountains again. This is one of the pastors in the front. And they were going up to the mountain where he lives and his family. This is Plano Morro in Guatemala. And here's the man. He has a projector on his back. We were going to show a movie that night. There he is again. This mountain took about two hours to get up to the mountain. This was with a group. It doesn't matter how old you are, the Lord can send us. The young and the old. There's a young boy. This is the pastor's wife. And she was making the corn tortillas. And there's the stove there. There she was. We really had a beautiful relationship with her. The Lord really built with us a friendship. There I am on the right. Trying to make them, not like they can though. We were heading there. We see where the group of people are. We were going to build a church on that ground there. There we were again. And there's the church. I think it was in a day or a day and a half we were there. There's the young boy. He's from the states. He went on a team. The church was a lot nicer than their homes. There was a service at night. A lot more people come when there's a team. When we lived there, there were still people. But not quite as many. But it was a good opportunity to share with them. Mostly children. This was a dentist that went with us. And a young boy. There's Suzanne. This is a couple years ago. She looks a little different. She was getting a shot of Novocaine because they pulled a lot of teeth. But they were so good. They didn't move. We were up in the trees with the kids. It's just a woman and her little baby. Some more children. People were very open too. They were always willing to listen to whatever we would share. Some more. They had little hammocks there that the kids would sleep in. And you see their shoes. They would hike in these mountains with these flip flops. It's just unbelievable. There they all got a little comb. Sometimes people would come and give toothbrushes. Or toothpaste. There was a service in the evening. Doing a little puppet show. There's a bathroom. Some more people. This is another mountain village that we used to go to. Called Plan Del Sari. There's a kitchen. The air just comes right in. That's a grinder. She was grinding up the corn. That's one of the homes. It's a nicer one. It wasn't really an orphanage. There were a lot of children there. They stayed there. Like a government run daycare. But they did stay overnight. Like a temporary home. Some of them were undernourished. But it wasn't too bad. Lots of children. We would always take teams in there. Sing with them and do puppets. And different things. They loved that. There he is with a little yo-yo. See that kids? These boys are now older. Once they turned 15 they would have to leave. They had a room with all the babies in. They were all laid in those cribs. We got to hold them. Walk with them and sing to them. Look at that face. Beautiful. There's the mountains again. That's it. I just wanted to share a little bit. How Jesus called me to go and be a missionary. I never wanted to be a missionary. I never wanted to go to Guatemala. I never wanted to go to the mountains. But you like to go hiking. That's wonderful. Once you're there it is fun. Suzanne always loved to go hiking. But I never did. But when you do what God wants you to do. He fills you with joy. He puts it in your heart. He gives you the strength. He gives you all you need to do it for him. I learned a lot. I used to complain. We used to hike up these mountains. It would take 2-3 hours. I would be tired. My brothers and sisters would say. You can do it. We would make it to the top. We would have such joy. The people would come and greet us. I went one time for 10 days. To see what it was like to go to another country. That's where the Lord Jesus called me to go. To quit my job. I was a secretary. I had a nice job. I lived at home with my mother and father. Everything was going well. It was very comfortable. Jesus wanted me to leave my home. Leave my mother and father. To go and follow him. There is a scripture in Matthew. It is in Matthew chapter 4. He speaks to us through his word. I thank God for the word of God. In Matthew chapter 4 verse 18. Jesus walking by the sea of Galilee. Saw two brethren. Simon called Peter and Andrew. They were casting a net into the sea. They were fishing. He said to them. Follow me and I will make you fishers of men. You know that story. They left their nets. They followed him. Jesus used these verses to call me. Leave your job. Leave your home. Come follow me to Guatemala. I was able to be his servant. A missionary in another country. It was such a blessing. We would go on the buses. People would say why are you here? We were able to say because Jesus loves you. He told us to come here to tell you that. We were able to leave. They left their nets and followed Jesus. We will make you fishers of men. Fishers of men. I will make you fishers of men. If you follow me. That is a good one. Follow me. If you follow me. I will make you fishers of men. If you follow me. Isn't that wonderful? Jesus wants you to be a fisher of men. In your school or at the grocery store. Wherever you go. You can be telling people the good news that Jesus loves them. We have good news inside of us. That is what God used us to do. We would go to the market and buy cheese. We would buy some tortillas. The ladies would be there. We just loved them. Why are you here? You caught a man. Down in verse 21. They were going on from there. He saw two other brethren. James the son of Zebedee and John his brother. They were in a ship. With their father. They were mending their nets. They were fishing too. What does immediately mean? Right away. That means they didn't think about it. Jesus said follow me. They just left everything. They didn't say I have to do this and this. What are my friends going to think? They just said Jesus spoke. He said follow me and they followed him. Isn't that wonderful? That is what he speaks to us. He speaks through our pastors. He speaks through our mommies and daddies. We need to obey what he says. That is how Jesus called me to go and be a missionary. It was exciting. Sometimes it was hard. Sometimes it was hot. Sometimes we were sweating. We always had joy. Deep down in our heart we had joy. He filled us with a song. One time Suzanne and I were at an airport. This was recently in Guatemala. We had an hour to wait for some people. We had the guitars. We started to sing songs. Children would come and people would gather around us. We were able to lift up Jesus. He said if he is lifted up he will draw everyone to himself. All men. We thank God that we can lift him up. If we know him we can lift him up. That is a blessing. Do you want to share something? I just wanted to read a story from the Bible about a little boy. Do you know this story? No. It is about a little boy who shared his lunch. It is in John 6. It is about a time when there were 5000 people. I will read it here. After Jesus had crossed the shore of Galilee. There was a great crowd of people following him. They saw him do miraculous signs and heal the sick. Jesus went up to the mountainside and sat down with his disciples. The feast of the Passover was near. Jesus looked up and saw a crowd of people coming toward him. He said to Philip, Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat? He asked this only to test him. He had already had in mind what he was going to do. Philip answered him, Eight months wages would not buy enough bread for each one to have a bite. Another disciple, Andrew Simon Peter's brother, spoke up and said, Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish. How far will they go among so many? He was a little boy who was just doing the things of his everyday life. Jesus knew the day he was going to use him. Jesus took what the little boy had and used it to feed 5,000. Jesus said, Have the people sit down. There was plenty of grass in that place. The men sat down, about 5,000 of them. Jesus took the loaves and gave thanks and distributed to those who were seated. As much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish. This little boy only had five loaves and two fish. God took what he had and he was able to feed thousands of people. Whatever you children have, Jesus wants to use because there are hungry people. There were lots of leftovers too. Sometimes we feel like we don't really have anything to give. Maybe we can't sing or we can't preach. We can't even memorize the Bible verse like we should. But what we have, Jesus knows just what you have. He wants to take what you have. He's going to use it to touch many lives. Maybe you just have a piece of clothing to share. Or a piece of food to give. Or a smile. Do you have a smile? How many have a smile? When we were in Colombia, One thing people kept saying was, You're always smiling. Even the Colombian Christians, They didn't notice that they smiled. I don't know. We were white and we stood out. But they would say, You're always smiling. I think Colombia is a country that's been through a lot of violence and hardship. There is a sadness in the air. A depression because people always fear that their lives are going to be threatened. Or their children are going to be killed or taken from them. There is a sorrow there. But God took us there to bring a joy. We would walk up and down this one area. They said it was dangerous. I don't know if you know where it is. We met beautiful people but we would just smile. When we left, people said, They just miss seeing you. They miss your smiles. That just encourages us that even a smile is what God can use. The littlest thing we have, He's going to take it and use it. So keep smiling for Jesus. He always has to be the reason, right? We'll show you. Do you want to share them with us? If you can come up here. Does he need the mic? Wow. I'll hold it for you. This is the first one. Lamentations 3. 22 and 23. It goes like this. Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed. Because his confessions fail not. They are merely warnings. Great is your faithfulness. That's very good. Thank you. That was Lamentations. That's a big verse. Why don't we think on that for a while. That was two verses. Thank you. Okay. When we had come home from Guatemala. We got involved with Times Square Church. They asked us to come to get to know us. And work in the ministries up at the church there. We shared with the pastor our desire to go to another country. That was just a desire that we have. We waited on the Lord two years. Then he opened the door for us to go to Columbia. We went to Columbia again on a short term trip. Then God called us to go there. We had made a one year commitment to work with this local church in Columbia. The pastor, her name was Martha. She had a real burden for the mafia. And the drug cartel of Medellin. She was in the states. There were two other brothers there that were missionaries sent from Times Square Church. We worked with them. Just did all kinds of different ministries. We were there basically to help. To build relationships with the young people, with the children. They had home groups. They had a raven ministry which was an outreach to the homeless people. In the morning they would have services for them. They would come and eat. First hear the word. We would sing some songs. Then they were able to take a shower and get a sandwich or something. They had a ministry on a Wednesday night that would go out to the streets. At 9 o'clock at night. You will see some of the people that we would meet. Young kids and older. That was part of the outreach of the church. Also the home groups was a big thing. The Lord had used on a Thursday night. We were part of those. Part of the children's ministry. Wherever we were needed we went there just to serve the Lord. And to help the people. It was really a blessing. It was a busy year. But God did some good things. This is the church. The one brother in the yellow was one of the pastors. The other one on the right. The other three were just workers. The one in the middle is the brother that went to China. He is a Colombian. God recently sent him to China to be a missionary there. God has done some good things. This is the church service. The people there. It was called the house of prayer. This was back where we had the children. We were singing some songs. We were telling a story. We did a lot of singing. There is the story. I don't know if you have ever seen the wordless book. This is the same but with a little bracelet. They were making them. This is a little boy's mother. We would always run into her on the street. She would be selling candy and different things. There is Suzanne. Teaching a story. That is John Mario. He was praying with the children. These are the buses. Very colorful. Every now and then when teams would come we would do a bus ministry. We would take a guitar and sing some songs. We would ask the bus driver. He would say go ahead. Someone would stand up and testify. It was a good time to give people some tracks. That is what we were doing here. There they are singing. The people would listen. That is the look they have. There is really no joy. There we were going on an outing. We were singing. There is one of the tracks we would give. These are the young boys. They sniff this glue. It is like a shoe glue. They inhale it. Some of them were very young. Seven or ten years old. Teenagers. They would come up to you and hang on you. This was the outreach in the evening. We would go to these three different spots. We would give them this hot drink. They would line up. They would just sit. Sometimes there would be a whole lot. Sometimes there would be a few. We were able to invite them to the church the next morning. Some would come. That was always a blessing. We sang one night. We just worshiped the Lord out there. There they are lined up. We would just sit on the curb or wherever. Find a spot. A lot of one-on-one evangelism. It is like a hot water. A sweet sugar water. There we were singing. There is the sandwich they eat. A young girl. They are very young. A lot of them are just so young. This was another night. We had an outreach on one of the neighborhoods. We just took the instruments. Started to worship the Lord. Sang some kids songs. Had someone testify and preach. Invite people to the church. They were all gathered around. People were listening from the windows. It was exciting. This was another day. You take a day to rest. The Lord always has something planned. That day it began to rain. We were with a group. We had visited some people. We got to this little town. There were all these kids there. We were waiting for a bus. We began to have a little outreach. The Lord is so faithful. We need to be ready and sensitive. To what he wants to do. He doesn't rest. The times he gives us for rest. He makes it into an opportunity. To make his name known. When are you coming back? We never got to go back to that same spot. His presence was there. Somebody loves me. Giving tracts out. We saw God do so many things. We would get in a cab. We would have to go somewhere. He would open a door. The one time was really special. His son-in-law was a pastor. He was an older man. You can't believe it, but you are in shock. We had been with his son-in-law. He was telling us about his father-in-law. That he needs the Lord. He is already heard. We needed a cab. Suzanne and I hopped in. We started to talk. My son-in-law is a pastor. It was the same man. We had a half hour with this man. Sharing the love of God with him again. It is an awesome thing. To see how God directs. The steps of the righteous are ordered of the Lord. You can see it. That is the city. The police. The guards. The market. The men repairing shoes. Some young boys. They would sell us vegetables and fruits. Some bananas. There they are again. Two happy faces. I think that is all. One other thing I can remember. Suzanne and I had to go to a home group. In a wealthier area. On our way home it was late. It was 9 o'clock. We had to take the metro. We had the guitars. Suzanne was kidding me. Who is going to preach? Who is going to sing? There were just a few people. Should we sing a song? We started to sing a song. At each stop more and more people came in. There were all these people. We started singing songs about the blood and the cross. They were listening. It is like a subway. This is in Columbia. We got to this one stop. A police woman came on. She said, where are you from? We said, we are coming from this other stop. She said, you can't do this. We said, we are sorry. The people said, let them play. They said, who cares what she said. We said, we have to obey the law. It was so beautiful how God opened door after door. No matter where you went. If you were open to him using you. He did. It is our lives. We can preach the Bible. If we don't show them Jesus. Word and deed. We can preach all we want. That was one thing we learned in Guatemala. The language school we went to was very religious. The religion was very strong there. A lot of Christians came in and said, all the Catholic people are going to go to hell. It was not a good thing. We knew we needed to show them the love. To build that friendship and relationship with them. He did that. It was a good thing we learned. It is not so much what we say. It is our testimony and our character. That is really important. Our relationship with Jesus is the most important thing. We can't do anything if we don't have that. If we are not abiding in him. We can't do anything. As long as our relationship with him was right. It flows out of that relationship with Christ. It will touch lives. We learn so much when you go there. The sensitivity you need to be to other people. To be a good listener. To be with them. Spend time with them like Jesus did. He spent time with people. It is a blessing and a joy to be able to go. To serve the Lord. We were in Guatemala for two years. We came home for two years. We went to Columbia for a year. We are getting ready to go back to Guatemala. We will be leaving the end of January. We will be working with a couple. Times Square Church supports. They have been there for nine years. They have been praying for laborers. For people who could help with the children. They have all these guitars. We need people to teach guitar. We are excited. They have a medical clinic. They have a real heart for people. Building relationships. Working side-by-side with them. Giving them the gospel. We are excited to work with this couple. We will leave the last week in January. And go back to Guatemala. For six months. We are praying that it will be longer. To Columbia? Not right now. The Lord just closed the door. It was time for us to come home. You never know. We are open to go wherever he wants. We have a family in Hackettstown. We have a family in Hackettstown. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. I don't know if we have time to sing a song or two. I don't know if we have time to sing a song or two. I wanted to share a scripture. There was so much. I never know what to share. I was just reading about in Romans 15. Where Paul was talking to some of the Christians. It says here that he was coming from a journey to Jerusalem, Rome, and Spain. He was saying in verse 17. Therefore I glory in Christ Jesus in my service to God. I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me. In leading the Gentiles to obey God. By what I have said and done. By the power of signs and miracles through the power of the spirit. From Jerusalem all the way around to Lyricum. I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ. It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known. So that I would not be building on someone else's foundation. Rather as it is written. Those who were not told about him will see. And those who have not heard will understand. So as I read that. I'm just challenged by the Lord to be like Paul. To really glory only in Jesus Christ as we serve him. And to not speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished. Sometimes we can go off track and speak of Christ. And speak of a lot of other things. It says he wants to preach. His ambition is to just preach the gospel where Christ has not been heard. And while I was in Columbia I had read this. And it was hard because I was like Lord these people have heard. They have heard. But God had us there for another reason. And we had to accept that. And be a witness. People had heard but they wanted to see. They wanted more than just words. And we had lived. God put us in a place where we lived below an elderly couple. And they were a Catholic family. I grew up Catholic so I know how I was taught. And I know how they were taught. And God just wanted us to really love them. And find the common ground. And lift up Jesus Christ. And we found ourselves doing that with a lot of people. And the young people in the church we really had to just show them some character. So God showed us what character we did have and what we didn't have. And we're still dealing with that. You think there's so much the Lord is doing that we can't say or show. Because it's deep within. He's just showing me that he really wants to be the purpose of every day. And the purpose of all that I do. He said that we would be, I don't know in Proverbs where it is. But it says we need to learn from the ants. And how they work so hard. And I'm like, Lord, if I could be like that. For the gospel's sake. And so he's been teaching me that. We've been home six months now. And it seems like we haven't been to these places for a long time. And I've just been doing things that no one sees. And God really is doing things deep within. Just those little things. Cleaning, I'm cleaning. Cleaning toilets. Helping a little elderly woman that no one cares for. But he wants me there. And it's hard to do those things. And yet he shows you really what the purpose of life is. And the gospel's all about. It's not what anyone sees. But it's what he sees. What he calls us to do. And being faithful. But I encourage you to do that. Whatever you're doing. Just that you'd be totally surrendered to God. And your heart would be willing to do whatever he wants. And that's what pleases him. It's hard. He's a part of it. We're the clay. And he'll smash us if we're going the wrong way. He says he'll bring our pride to ruin. And then he'll ruin the vessel and remake it. So that's what he's doing in me. And I'm glad. So we have some songs. Did you come out? Oh, yeah, that's good. Thank you. Thank you for the cross. I think it's number two. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you for the cross, the mighty cross. That God himself should die for such as us. And every day we're changed into your image more and more. Yes, by the cross we've truly been transformed. Thank you for the cross. Thank you for the cross, the mighty cross. That God himself should die for such as us. And every day we're changed into your image more and more. Yes, by the cross we've truly been transformed. And we're so amazed. And we give you praise. That you should save us at such a cost. And we're so amazed. And we give you praise for the power of the cross. Thank you for the cross, the mighty cross. Thank you, Jesus. That God himself should die for such as us. And every day we're changed into your image more and more. Yes, by the cross we've truly been transformed. And we're so amazed. And we give you praise. That you should save us at such a cost. will be set on serving him alone And that if you should tarry in their generation They might be raised up as a bright shining light To demonstrate and show the world that Jesus Christ is alive and real We claim them for the kingdom of God And pray that you'll preserve their life from the wicked one Lord Father I pray for every adult here that you have spoken to this morning Lord Those Lord
