A Ministry Like Harry S. Truman: Intercession for Israel
Mike Bickle

Mike Bickle (1955 - ). American evangelical pastor, author, and founder of the International House of Prayer (IHOPKC), born in Kansas City, Missouri. Converted at 15 after hearing Dallas Cowboys quarterback Roger Staubach at a 1970 Fellowship of Christian Athletes conference, he pastored several St. Louis churches before founding Kansas City Fellowship in 1982, later Metro Christian Fellowship. In 1999, he launched IHOPKC, pioneering 24/7 prayer and worship, growing to 2,500 staff and including a Bible college until its closure in 2024. Bickle authored books like Passion for Jesus (1994), emphasizing intimacy with God, eschatology, and Israel’s spiritual role. Associated with the Kansas City Prophets in the 1980s, he briefly aligned with John Wimber’s Vineyard movement until 1996. Married to Diane since 1973, they have two sons. His teachings, broadcast globally, focused on prayer and prophecy but faced criticism for controversial prophetic claims. In 2023, Bickle was dismissed from IHOPKC following allegations of misconduct, leading to his withdrawal from public ministry. His influence persists through archived sermons despite ongoing debates about his legacy

Sermon Summary
Mike Bickle emphasizes the significance of intercession for Israel, drawing parallels between the ministry of Harry S. Truman and the current mission of mobilizing prayer for Israel. He recounts the prophetic history of IHOP and the recent acquisition of 120 acres as a spiritual base, which he believes is a divine sign for the intercessory movement. Bickle highlights the importance of remembering God's past faithfulness to strengthen resolve and focus on the mission ahead. He calls for a commitment to 24/7 prayer, aligning with biblical prophecies regarding Israel's restoration and the end times. The sermon serves as a reminder of the church's role in standing in the gap for Israel and the urgency of prayer in this generation.
Sermon Transcription
Father, we thank you in the name of Jesus for the things that you are doing in our midst, the way that you have been attentive to this body to lead us and to give us a history to remember before you. Lord, we thank you for your graciousness now, even as you're providing this property and unfolding your plan before us. In Jesus' name, amen. Well, again, just wanting to draw attention to the fact that the Lord has provided 120 acres for us as a spiritual family, as a missions base, and we want to talk a little bit about that. We gave the announcement last week at the IHOP staff meeting, but I just want to reiterate because I think that it's worth repeating just so that we all know the story, that we're all a part of it, and then in a few minutes, I'll have ask Gary Cooper to come up and give us the PowerPoint again and to tell us the story a bit of it again. So we're going to hear some of the details a couple times because I want us to know it. I want us to remember it. I want us to understand it. It says in 1 Timothy 1, verse 18, Paul the apostle said, I charge you, Timothy, that according to the prophecies that were given to him, paraphrasing, that by these prophecies, you wage the good warfare. The Lord gives us prophetic words and experiences, encounters individually and corporately, so that we fight the good fight motivated and energized by the prophecies. Prophecies are not just a thing that are a blessing in the moment. They are to give us resolve in the long term. They're to strengthen our resolve and prophecies help us maintain a focus in the things that the Lord mandated us to do. We want to do things that are mandate critical. We want to do things that are critical to the divine mandate and not get off course just doing everything that comes our way. In Deuteronomy 32, verse 7, I don't have the the verse written there, Moses, he said this regularly, he commanded Israel to remember the days of old. Deuteronomy 32, 7, it's a well-known passage, because when we remember yesterday, we run the race better today. We make different choices today when we remember. It keeps our, it's again, it strengthens our resolve, it strengthens our focus. So I like to take time, several times each year, and then at the IHOP staff meetings, I try to give a little portion of our prophetic history each time that we meet on a monthly basis to remember what the Lord said and to remember what he did in our midst. Roman numeral 2, Bob Jones's prophecy about a worldwide youth movement. I've said this so many times, but it bears repeating over and over. When we remember this, we go, oh yeah, that's what we're doing. I remember now, and even myself, though I've told the story hundreds of times, even by the telling of it, I recall it and remember it, and it renews my heart in a new way. It was March 7, 1983, which is 25 years ago, coming up this March, when Bob Jones first walked into my office. Our church was in Overland Park. We had a young adult church. He walked in, and he said, the Lord, he says, I've seen over a hundred visions of this youth movement from 1975 to 1983, when I'm first meeting him, over this eight-year period, because I've seen over 100 visions. Of course, I thought that was a bit odd. I didn't really have any way to understand that, to believe that. A hundred visions, like, yeah, right. But now that I, I mean, after I got to know him, I believe it to be true. And he said, I'm going to tell you where you're going in ministry. And he said, I'm sure you already know. Shook my head. Yes, I do know where I'm going in ministry, how wrong I was. He said, number one, he said, you're a youth pastor. And I said to myself, no, wrong. He goes, the Lord's going to raise up a youth movement of singers and musicians, and God's going to use them to release power evangelism, number one, and they're going to mobilize millions of intercessors from around the world to pray for Israel. He said, are you a singer? And I said, no. He goes, are you a musician? I said, no. He goes, do you pray for Israel? I go, no. He goes, do you know you're a youth pastor? I said, no. He said, so you don't know anything about what's going to happen, do you? I said, I don't, I don't know anything you're talking about. I mean, I think I know where I'm going, but I don't know how, I know nothing about what you're talking about. He said, the Lord told me you'd be dull. I didn't think you'd be this dull. He said, God's going to raise up a youth movement of singers and musicians. He goes, it's years down the road. He said, you're too immature right now to be the youth pastor that, that the Lord has described to me. He goes, it's years from now. That didn't set that well. He said, the Lord's going to, the Lord has named this movement in the spirit, prophetic and intercession. There will be an abundance of grace to prophesy many prophetic experience. Many of the people will have dreams and visions often, and they will have an anointing for intercession. And he went on and he told me, I just want to get this clear to all of us, just because I think it's interesting part of the story that I don't often mention. I mention occasionally. He said, the group that you will, that will be most significant, the thing most significant, it's a better way to say it, will be to pray for Israel and to rally intercessors for Israel around the globe. That is the most significant eschatologically or in terms of the end times. He said, but the group that you will have the greatest influence this youth ministry will be Asia. I said, Asia? He goes, yes. He said, I saw them in Asia. This is March 1983. He said, they had little televisions in their hands out in the rice paddies. He said, they even had television sets on their watches. And they were watching the worship and the prayer and the teaching going on in Kansas City from this youth movement in the rice paddies in Asia on television sets on their watch. And they were watching them live in real time. Well, that's cool now. I thought he was absolutely crazy. Not a youth pastor, not singers, not musicians, not Israel, and no TV sets on watches. Well, it's 25 years later and I'm 0 for 5 on that day. I missed every single one of them. He said, this movement is going to have a ministry like Harry S. Truman. We're talking about an odd statement. He said, do you know who Harry S. Truman was? I go, yeah, president of the United States. He goes, what else do you know? I don't know anything about Harry Truman. He goes, did you know that he was from Kansas City? Of course, I didn't. I told him the neighborhood I grew up in, we didn't do presidents. Never thought about presidents. He said, Harry S. Truman was a political intercessor for the nation of Israel. He goes, I'm not sure that he understood that. He goes, and as Harry S. Truman was a political intercessor for Israel on a global level, so this youth movement, they will be spiritual intercessors for Israel on a global level. And they will mobilize millions of believers, and the Lord made the number clear later, it would be a hundred million believers that the Lord will give us opportunity with other ministries as well to mobilize a hundred million Gentile intercessors on a global level to stand in prayer for Israel. And I'll take a minute, in a few minutes at the end of this, to say why that's so significant to do that. Because when Bob told me these things, I had no grid whatsoever for the importance of this. He goes, you know what Harry S. Truman did in 1948? And I wasn't aware of it. He said, Harry S. Truman was the man, a man from Kansas City, that was most used in the human sense for the reestablishing of the state of Israel, or the nation of Israel, to have a homeland, and to have their own land as a national identity. I said, okay. And I mean, honestly, I didn't say it out loud, but I was like, so? I didn't even understand the significance. I had no grid for the significance of this. When you read Old Testament prophecy, many of the Old Testament prophecies make it clear that Israel will have their own land in the generation the Lord returns. Now, the reason that's significant, because in 70 AD, 2,000 years ago approximately, Israel was cast out of their land by the Roman Empire, by the Roman armies. They were driven out of the land, and they never, ever had a homeland since 70 AD for 2,000 years. And history tells us that any nation that's ever been driven out of their homeland, if they're out of it for over a couple decades, they never, ever maintain a national identity to a degree, to such a degree that they recover the land that they were kicked out of. No nation in history, no nation in history has ever been out of their homeland for 40 years and maintained a language and gained their homeland again. No nation's ever done it in 40 years. And Israel, the prophet said that after 2,000 years, it's clear, I mean, we know from history it's 2,000 years, they will be brought back to the land. This is a miracle on a historical level, unprecedented in history. Never, ever has a nation ever been gone 40 years, but as, you know, 100 years, 200 years, 300 years, 1,000 years, 1,500 years, the people who teach on Bible prophecy throughout 2,000 years have insisted that Israel and the generation the Lord returns will be brought back to their homeland. Most the body of Christ just gave up on the idea. I mean, after 2,000 years, it's not gonna happen. But the prophecy said yes, and a man from Kansas City was used in a singular, distinct way to orchestrate the events where Israel became a homeland. And he, Harrius Truman, was in that sense a political intercessor for the nation of Israel. Now, he stood against the tide of popular opinion, even among, within the United States government, all the processes. He said, Israel must become a nation. It's 1948, it's 1947 is when the process begins. It's right after World War II, which ended in 1945. Israel must be, have a homeland, they must return. And most of the political process in America said no. I mean, the powers that be, no. And he persuaded them to agree with him. And then he went to the United Nations, and the popular opinion among the United Nations in 1947 and 48 was no, they should not have a homeland. And he persuaded them. So the nation of Israel sees Harrius Truman as a man of great honor and a man that significantly changed the destiny of the nation of Israel. A man from Kansas City. 1948, May 1948, it happened. The fulfillment of biblical prophecy. So Bob Jones, I'm in Overland Park in my office at our church there, our younger little church. He says, we'd only been there several months. It's a new church. He says, God's going to move you from Overland Park to Grandview. And he's going to put you next to Harrius Truman as a sign and a wonder. I said, I don't really see us moving from Overland Park. You know, our congregation is mostly from Overland Park, and most of them were not that interested in moving the church to Grandview. He said, it doesn't matter. It's going to happen. I promise you that. And when it happens, it will be a sign and a wonder, meaning it will be a sign from heaven that, that demands a response to the Lord of wholeheartedness. It's not just a sign that is interesting. It's a sign that demands a response when it happens. So a couple of years after that first encounter with Bob Jones, we got this building right here. And this building is only a couple of hundred yards from Harrius Truman's property, right across the street over there, Blue Ridge. And when we came here in 1985, May of 85, we were rejoicing that the prophecy that Bob Jones gave us surely came to pass. We are next to Harrius Truman. And for the last, you know, 20 plus years, I've told the story. Bob Jones was right. We're next to Harrius Truman. Little did I know what was going to happen. And just in the last four to five weeks, it was a suddenly from heaven. It just happened suddenly. It surprised all of us. And the Lord used our own beloved Gary Cooper in the process. Harrius Truman had owned 600 acres right here. And the Truman Corners Shopping Center is part of that 600 acres. And a Jewish family in January, 1958, 50 years ago, bought a significant part of that 600 acres and developed Truman Corners. But this other 120 acres, they've never developed it in the 50 years that they've owned it. They've developed all the other property, but not this 120 acres right there on the highway. And so through the process, Gary will mention a little bit more about it, just because we want to celebrate it. This property, they reduced the price significantly to be a blessing to us. And they took a tax write-off and blessed us significantly by reducing the price in a significant way. We'll wait on the details of that for several reasons. And they said that we want to wait till after the January 1st for tax reasons to close. And it ends up, Gary did the research on this, our closing date, January 27th, is exactly 50 years to the day that Harry S. Truman sold this to this Jewish family. So January 27th, 50 years ago, Harry Truman sold it to them. And now this Jewish family is now giving it to us at a very reduced price from what it's worth. And a man from Dallas who wants to remain unnamed flew in town two weeks ago, and he said, I want to pay all of it for you. I want to pay the legal fees. I want to pay the appraisals. I want to pay everything. He goes, this is a matter of principle. I don't want IHOP to pay anything. I want you to have it debt-free on the day that you close. So on the 50-year anniversary that the Jewish family bought it from Harry S. Truman, we are receiving it from them. It's a jubilee. It's a jubilee event. Most of you know that on the jubilee, several things happened, that the debts were cleared, so we get the property debt-free, but also on a jubilee, the land reverted to its rightful owner. And the rightful owner of this land, if you'll allow me to describe it this way, is the intercessory movement for the nation of Israel in the end times. And it was Harry S. Truman that was the first intercessor for Israel from that land in a political dimension, and we are a spiritual intercessor. And again, there's many ministries around the earth. Matter of fact, the whole body of Christ will be involved in this. This is the Israel mandate is a mandate God has given the whole church in the generation the Lord returns. And the Gentiles across the earth who love Jesus are just now waking up in massive numbers. I mean, in the last even five and ten years, the amount of people who are catching the significance of Israel in the end times, most people I talk to that, you know, they say, I'm not really into that Israel thing because they don't understand end-time prophecy and how significant it is. But that's changing rapidly. So though I don't know how God picks property, but He picked this property, and the man that caused Israel to become a nation in the human sense, He was from that land, and now the prayer movement that's going to mobilize together with others, a hundred million intercessors across the world for Israel is on that land. And only the Lord knows how He assigns property and, and protects it and establishes it. But for 50 years, this Jewish family has not wanted to sell the land or in the last number of years they wanted to, but the Lord put His hand on it. He said, no, this is for Israel. And so our team will establish a ministry center there. Our vision is to have five different ministry centers, like we will keep the Redbridge Center and the Global Prayer Room over there, not that the Global Prayer Room will stay there, we'll probably use it for, we'll probably use it as a different prayer room. But our vision from the Lord is to have five 24-hour, 24-7 prayer rooms all on one campus here in South Kansas City, you know, maybe a mile or two or three from each other. We have the Birchwood Center and the Redbridge Center, and we plan to have five different centers before it's all over, all closely connected, I mean geographically close together on one campus, spread out a bit. And so Gary was the first one to step out and he said, let's call this one the Truman Center, like we have the Redbridge Center and everybody just loved it, so that's the name of it. It's the Truman Center. And we will put a, a very large facilities there, and he can talk more about that. We'll be, we're going to be aggressively pursuing this after January 27th, after we get the property, it'll be debt-free, it's ours, and we're going to build a prayer room and a, the Bible School and the Music Academy and dormitories and all kinds of things over there, Lord willing. And it really seems like He's willing. But we're going there as a sign and a wonder, it is a statement from heaven. Paragraph B, the first experience that Bob Jones had concerning this youth movement that he claimed to have over 100 visions of before I met him in March of 83, his first experience was August 8th, 1975, and he had another experience in August 8th, seven years later. So somewhere, August 8th is important to the Lord related to this, and I, I don't really know the significance of that. He had a near-death experience where he died, and the, they, they thought he died, his spirit left his body, stood before the Lord, and the Lord said, I'm sending you back from death, because I want you to touch some of the leadership of the beginning of this youth movement. And as he came, before he entered back into his body, his spirit came back into his body as he was there in a coma, he saw two angels, and he heard them, he saw them with his eyes, and they were talking one to another. He said they were like eight-foot angels, and they did not look at him at all, he was eavesdropping, he was standing right next to them, but they never looked at him, and they were talking, and one angel, the first angel said, in essence, I'll just give a summary of it, not a quote, that God has chosen that a great revival would break forth out of Kansas City and touch the ends of the earth, and it would be like an atomic explosion of light breaking forth from Kansas City to the ends of the earth, and incidentally there will be a number of revival centers in the earth that will touch the whole world, but this city will be one of those revival centers, and it will be bigger than the IHOP ministry, it will be God's purpose in this city, it will be bigger than just what God has put in our hands here at IHOP. And it'll be an explosion of light that will go forth across the earth. Undoubtedly, technology is a part of that explosion of light, because so much of technology is light, but it's more than that, it's the grace of God, the power of the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Then the other angel responded back, and Bob heard it, he says, yes, this company of young people, they will do greater works than these, and he quoted John 14, verse 12. Beloved, the day is coming when the Lord will release His grace upon this youth movement, young and old alike, and they will operate in an anointing of John 14, 12, greater works than these. Paragraph C, it was seven years later, on August 8th again, Bob Jones sold a white horse, which was symbolic, and I won't tell all the details of it at this time, I've told it on other occasions through the years, white horse which was symbolic of this youth movement, and the Lord's, he saw the Lord, Bob Jones saw the Lord in this one, and the Lord quoted Habakkuk chapter 3, verse 4, and I'll read it to you, and this is describing Jesus at the second coming, this is in context, this is a prophecy about Jesus at the second coming operating in power, says His brightness was like the light, He had rays flashing from His hand, and there His power was hidden in His hands, and before Him went pestilence, and fever followed after Him, so as the Lord on, as He was about to enter into different areas, this is describing Revelation chapter 16 actually, the seven bowls of wrath, the first bowl as Jesus is marching up into the land of Israel, the time of the second coming, He is releasing loathsome sores, and fever, and all manner of judgments against the Antichrist kingdom, so this is actually a prophecy that finds its fulfillment in the bowls of wrath in Revelation 16, but the point I want to, the point I want to emphasize is that in Jesus' hand there will be flashes of lightning that will be power being released when He raises His hand, now that's exciting, Jesus used a prophecy about Himself, and He has the right to do this, and apply it to anyone He wants, anytime He wants, but it's mostly about Him, and He told Bob Jones, He said this youth movement, I will release Habakkuk chapter 3, verse 4, and the lightning, I will entrust my lightning in their hands, Bob is, says I'm, I'm just awestruck listening to this, because seven years ago he heard the prophecy that we would do greater works than these, in August 8th, 75, now it's August 8th, 82, and it's the same kind of promise, but a different Bible verse to confirm it, he says I will put my lightning in their hands, and he went on to explain them, he said they will raise their hands up, and declare the name of the Lord, and there will be mass gatherings of people, and there will be occasions where the, the large congregation will actually see lightning, they will see light coming out of the hands of various ones, when they raise them over the congregation, they will see light come out, and the guy who is missing a kidney, the light will strike him, and others will see it, and the kidney will be instantly created, a creative miracle, and the blind eyes will be instantly opened, and the congregation, he said massive numbers of people will be gathered, when this happens on occasions, and the light will touch their face, and their eyes will open, they'll walk out of wheelchairs, all manner of diseases will be instantly healed, the Lord told Bob, tell them I will put my lightning in their hands at the appointed time, beloved that's exciting, Roman number three, I've had three or four very significant supernatural experiences in my life, unrelated to Bob Jones, and a few of the other prophetic guys, like Paul Kane, and some of the others, I'm talking about ones where this, I encountered the Lord in a direct way, without it being connected to a another prophetic person, that a handful of experiences connected to prophetic people, it was in Cairo, Egypt, and I'm just saying this by way of, of reminding you, remembrance, not to go through this whole experience, but it was in September 82, in Cairo, Egypt, when the Lord said, these four things must, beloved, these are non-negotiable, they must be embraced by the end time church, now these four things do not represent the values of the New Testament church in entirety, there are many values, you might list 20 different values in the New Testament church, but these are the four that are the most neglected by the church, these are the four that the church most quickly finds Bible verses to escape the responsibility to walk in these verses, I mean people claim the grace of God in order to cancel these truths out in their own life, and the first one that he spoke about was intercession, he said the church should be built, it must be built upon night and day prayer, it must be, remember September 82, I'm hearing this from the Lord, and I say yes Lord, yes Lord, it's a very dramatic experience, I don't want to go into it, I give you the before there on the notes, my point isn't to tell that story, but to point out the intercessory dimension, then it was in May of 1983, about 18 months later, the Lord says it again by the audible voice of the Lord, he said you'll do 24-hour prayer in the spirit of the tabernacle of David, which means 24-hour prayer led by singers and musicians, that's what it means just in a real simple description, the Lord spoke that audibly, my point is this is mandate critical to us, the Lord is giving us this Truman center, this Truman property as a sign to us that we would be more energized and more committed to do the mandate he gave us, it's not just that it would be a great story and a great you know web blast, so we tell people wow God gave us 120 acres debt free on the very day 50 years later, and Harry Truman he told us 25 years ago, isn't it great, oh it's great, okay end of story, no that's not the point, the point is that it would move us, and we would say you know what meaneth thou this, and the Lord says what does it mean, it means I want you to do prayer night and day, that's what it means, I mean it, of course it's obvious, but I tell you prayer is, the ministry could be called the International House of Prayer, we can all sign up for it, but prayer can easily be the thing we do least, even in the midst of the IHOP reality, the whole subject of prayer is a paradox, it's a total paradox, prayer is the simplest ministry in the Bible in terms of conceptually or intellectually, meaning what is prayer, I'll tell you what prayer is in one sentence, I'll give you the all, I'll give you the the introductory training on prayer, here's what tell God what He tells you to tell Him, you can learn prayer 101 in a five-minute teaching, tell God what He tells you to tell Him and use Bible verses, okay you're trained, you're an intercessor, you can write a book, you know the seven secrets of intercessory prayer, it'd take a lot of work to kind of make it a little bit confusing, so you could give the secrets to make it unconfusing, there is nothing more simple in the Bible than the doctrine of prayer, tell God what He tells you to tell Him, you do that, you've done it, however though prayer is the simplest ministry, it is the most demanding ministry at the heart level, because if you tell God what He tells you to tell Him conceptually, everybody gets it within five minutes, you're trained in prayer, but it's different than all the other ministries, because you have to live in agreement with the spirit in your inner man in order for the prayer thing to be doable, meaning as simple as prayer is to sit in a room and tell God what He tells us to tell Him, that's called intercession, and if we tell God how good He is, that's called worship, you are good, you are loving, you are true, you're powerful, you're wise, that's worship, we tell Him who He is and we tell Him what He said He would do, that's called intercession, but beloved it doesn't work if our heart is not in agreement, it's the most demanding ministry, because there is nothing more boring and oppressive than prayer meetings when your spirit isn't connected with God, it's the simplest ministry conceptually, the most demanding ministry spiritually, it's torture to be in a prayer room when what you've done the last 72 hours is other than agreement with the spirit at the heart level, we can't do drunkenness, we can't do a little bit of pornography and immorality, we can't do a little bit of slander, some covetousness, a little bit of bitterness, a little bit of unbridled ambition to be caught up in the storm of that and go into a prayer room and feel God's presence, I mean God still loves us when we do those things and repent, but we lose the sense of the connectedness with His presence and then the prayer room is torture, now I don't know that because I read a book, I know that because I've done it, I've sat in prayer rooms over the years when my spirit was not connected to God, right, it was like, ah, this is horrible, does anybody relate to that, you just, you know, just point to the other guy, if you don't just say, I think he does, yeah, there you go, there you go, a bunch of you're doing this, okay, a couple of you just got busted, the guy behind you pointed, so therefore, the whole prayer is the simplest ministry because it's the most demanding at the heart level, it is the most neglected ministry in the church throughout history, my point is, God says, I hop, you have to do prayer, you have to do, I hop, okay, good, we can tell God what He tells us to tell Him and we can tell God who He says He is, it's called worship and the Holy Spirit says, well, it's not quite, it's simple, but it is demanding and the easiest thing to neglect of all the ministries in the church is the prayer ministry, you know, you can preach, you can minister to the all kinds of needs, you can do emotional healing, physical healing, all kinds of leadership, all kinds of sermons, outreaches with your spirit being wrong and you can still do it and you know, the activity and a bunch of people do this, that's so horrible, but you get in a prayer room and you have to talk to God, I don't mean talk to people about God, talk to God and your spirit is defiled because of what you've been doing the last 48, 72 hours, it's horrible, so what I'm saying is God is sending us next to Harry S. Truman as a sign, the Lord's saying, I really want you to do 24-7 prayer, not the other people, I want you to, I want you to do it, meaning it's easy for us to get caught up in the prophetic story and to get caught up in the momentum and there's a whole bunch of people in the prayer room, we are doing it, the Lord says, but are you doing it? Well, you know, I've been complaining a lot lately and giving way to some covetousness, a little bit of immorality, a little pornography, not that much, but a little bit, a little drunkenness here or there, a little this, a little that and prayer rooms is kind of like really yucky right now. Beloved, that story can multiply over and over and over, the Lord says, I'm sending you to this property, it is a sign that I'm serious about the mandate I've given you, so this is a time to celebrate, but it's another time, but it's also a time to sign up again for the inner life outside of the prayer room to be in agreement with God, so our life in the prayer room isn't miserable. Let's go to page two, just real brief on this. Isaiah 62, look at this, I'm reading from the NAS or the New American Standard translation, on your walls of Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen all day and all night, they'll never keep silent, you remind the Lord, take no rest for yourself, give God no rest till he establishes and makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth. Now, this is a specific end time prophecy, I want you to catch this, this is not just an exhortation on prayer for every generation, although I'm sure the Holy Spirit has used this throughout the generations, this is specifically an end time prophecy about the prayer ministries right before the second coming of Christ, that's what this verse is in its context. Notice, he says these prayer ministries will go all day and all night, they'll be 24-7 prayer ministries and they will continue until, that's the key word, until Jerusalem's a praise in the earth. Now, Jerusalem does not become a praise in the earth until the second coming of Christ. Right now, Jerusalem is not a praise in the earth, for Jerusalem to be a praise in the earth means all the cities of the earth will be boasting and magnifying what God is doing in Jerusalem, right now the cities of the earth talk about Jerusalem and the controversy and the burden that the city of Jerusalem is. Zechariah 12 verse 3 says that, Zechariah 12 verse 3, that Jerusalem would be a heavy stone or stone of burden, Jerusalem is not a praise in the earth right now, that won't happen until Jesus returns, Jerusalem is a stone of controversy right now. My point is this, God promised that He would raise up prayer ministries that would go 24-7 and they would continue until the second coming. Beloved, this is talking about prayer ministries that are being initiated in this generation of time, this is a prophecy 2700 years ago about 24-7 prayer ministries that would continue to the second coming. The IHOP mandate is squarely rooted in this prophecy about the end times. I read this prophecy and I'm encouraged yet I'm also sobered. The IHOP mandate is firmly founded in an end time prophecy right here in Isaiah 62 and there are many other prophecies that will be rooted here as well. Most of these night and day prayer ministries will begin in the actual generation that the Lord returns. Paragraph C, God is raising up a global wall of intercession. Now it's a spiritual wall, not a physical wall. Even in the context of the scripture, he, Isaiah wasn't saying God's going to raise up a, on the physical wall around the temple mount in Jerusalem because the body of Christ will not have access to that wall right before the coming of the Lord. He's not talking about the physical wall at the temple site, that will be under the control of the antichrist until the second coming. He's talking about a spiritual wall across nations and this wall that we stand on will provide protection for the purpose of God related to the nation of Israel that will result in the second coming of Christ to the earth. Jesus will not come back until Israel says yes to him. Look at paragraph C. Ezekiel was talking about this spiritual wall. God says I sought for a man who would build up a wall. He would make a wall or one translation says build up a wall. He would stand in the gap before God. That's intercession on behalf of the land so I would not destroy it. God was talking about intercessors who build a spiritual wall. He wasn't talking, God wasn't looking for carpenters who would build the physical wall at the temple mount because I'm looking for men and women that will stand before me in the gap and the gap is Israel's disobedience and God's holiness and God's invitation of mercy if they would repent and the intercessor stands in the gap between God's holiness and his invitation of mercy. Send mercy and release revival and Israel's sin and resistance. We stand in the gap as the Satan wants to destroy the land of Israel and the judgments of God are looming over the land of Israel. In the gap stands the global prayer movement crying for mercy and withstanding the works of darkness like in Daniel 10 when Daniel prayed and fasted the devil was held back from destroying the land of Israel. Beloved, we're called to stand in a gap before God on a spiritual wall. It's a global wall that will stop the works of the devil. It will release the mercy of God and release revival on the land and the Lord says Kansas City, I hop Kansas City. I want you to build a wall across the nations for my land of Israel that and this will have a significance. I'm not going to develop this tonight because I want to be done with this in just a moment. This will will have a significance to the second coming of Christ. It's a huge subject. It's, it's not enough that somebody says I'm not into the Israel thing. If you're not into the Israel thing, I understand it but it's because you don't understand the significance of end time prophecy. We can't be doing what's central to God's heart and not be into the Israel thing. The Israel thing is the subject of the second coming of Jesus to take over the the leadership of the planet. We are all into the Israel thing. We're just a little bit slower getting there some of us from the others. I mean when I met Bob Jones like I don't get this Israel thing at all. He said you will, I promise you that. He goes you'll be next to Harry S Truman too. Look at what it says in Ezekiel 13. Very, this is a new verse for some of you. I want you to pay attention to this one. Woe to you foolish prophets. Talking about the prophets of Israel. You follow your own spirit and you've seen nothing. You're making up prophecies. Oh Israel your prophets are like foxes in the desert which means they're crafty, they're cunning, they're deceptive. He goes your prophets make up words. They're entrepreneurial prophets, cut and paste prophets. They don't hear from God. They just line it all up from everybody else so they can get more doors open and make money and get more honor for themselves. What I mean by entrepreneurial prophets being an entrepreneurial spirit in the marketplace is good. I'm just talking about men and women who use prophecy just to promote themselves and to open doors for themselves. They're like foxes. They're cunning. They're deceptive. It's not real. There's many of them in the land these days. He says he charges them in verse 5. He goes you prophets you have not gone up into the gaps to build a wall for the house of Israel. You have not stood in the battle on the day of the Lord in intercession. You're not true prophets because beloved one of the the acid tests when the litmus tests for a true prophet in the end times they will stand in the gap and build a wall in the day of battle and beloved the day of battle is unfolding right now for the land of Israel. Roman numeral 5. Zechariah 14. I'll end with this. All the nations in verse 2 are gathering to battle against Jerusalem and that battle is not just military and political. There is a spiritual battle. The house of Islam. There's a house of prayer emerging in the earth that's contending against the true house of of prayer. The house of the Lord. And there's another house that's going to raise far more powerful than Islam. It's the antichrist house of prayer. The end the conflict at the end of the age is a conflict of two houses of prayer. It's paragraph b. It's the the two houses of prayer are going to come into collision. The antichrist worship movement and the house of the Lord Jesus worship movement and the Lord is building up a wall and praying for Israel is at the very center of it and God told us 25 years ago I will put you next to Harry S. Truman. It will be a sign and a wonder. This youth movement that will have signs and wonders. John 14 12. Greater works than these. My lightning will be put into their hands and they will take a stand and they will mobilize intercessors all over the land of Israel. This is why I'm calling them into being and they will have a prophetic anointing on the singers and musicians and they will mobilize millions across the world to stand faithful and build a wall to protect the land of Israel. That's what this thing is about. It's glorious but it's very sobering. Amen. I'm gonna have Gary come on up. Let's give our I'm gonna call you our own beloved Gary Cooper. How's that title? That's a cool title. It's a true one. So Gary I want you to just tell the details all over again because I want us to really have them clear. You know you you mentioned you being dull. I think I'm dull. I've heard this three times today and it's just tonight I've actually realized something. You talked about Bob Jones in August the 8th of 1975 getting a message. August 8th yeah 75 and then in August 8th again in 1982 again August the 8th and then in March the 7th of 1983. You're gonna put all this together? I'm putting all this together. Now Gary has been a lawyer for what 40 years? Well for a long time. 40 years. At least. So you're gonna put this together. Okay I want to hear this. Okay 60 years. Okay but interesting you're gonna like this okay because here's what happened. 1960? 47 years? A long time. No I was 67. That was it. I just became a lawyer. Anyway it's a long time ago. 41 years but nonetheless I still have my license. See I can work on this but anyway the interesting thing is we have gotten involved in the call right in DC this year. The date that we have set for this call is August the 8th. Oh that's right. Lou Engel is calling a million believers from America and he's asked me to be the primary leader. That's correct. And I said yes and I volunteered all of you with me. We're doing it as a missions base. We're taking the leadership of the call. That's August 8th. Now but what's interesting is we have a little thing. It's interesting and there's another piece of this. It's the deal is KC to DC and it says the march has begun. Oh March 7th. Yeah the terminology we're going to use is as we publish it we're just going to start it in the next week or two. We're saying KC because it starts with the call in Kansas City from KC to DC and we believe that a million people will gather in the National Mall in Washington DC because in 2000 we had 400,000 gather. We believe a million right before the election so it's KC to DC and we're saying the march is on. March is on and it's August 8th. 8808. It's pretty cool. I mean you know I like that a lot. Anyway the first little slide that we have up that talks about the Truman Center. This is really interesting. We have two ladies who have been involved with Metro and with Mike for a number of years. They're not here. Metro is the church I pastored for 18 years before IHOP. That was here in this building but we have two ladies who are actually nieces of Harry Truman who've been part of IHOP for a long time. Mary Gracie and Rita Moser. So it's Uncle Harry to them. It's Uncle Harry and I'm talking to Mary this morning and she said I loved what she said to me. She said it's great to have the property back in the family and that's us. We're the family in case you didn't get that. Because as a girl she was actually on that 600 acres. Oh yes. As a girl she played on that acres when Uncle Harry owned it. She said she lost a diamond out there so if anybody finds it. She did. No she didn't say that. I just I made that up. I made that up. You can't trust lawyers. I was asking for stewards. I was asking for stewards. Whoa this is getting deep. Anyway so we all know Mike is this really clever sort of character and he really is a neat guy. He's setting me up for something bad. I am setting him up. But I just really wanted you to know how really cool this dude was. So we can have the next slide. No. Oh no. What happened to that? No. That's me. Actually. Actually. Actually. No I didn't do this. I didn't do it. I am innocent. I'm going to call my lawyer. I did not orchestrate that. Is that a real picture of you? That's a real picture. I can't see. For a second. For a second there I thought that was the angel Gabriel. Now what is that? You know what? This is a really neat picture. Wait is that you? That is me. That's when I was skinny. I was running about nine miles a day. I actually was developing. I had a very large shopping center in Houston and I was. It's 1982. That's you? Yeah. Wasn't August the 8th though. How's that? That's me. I couldn't see then. I can see now. It's all iHop's fault. That's me. I'm glad the PowerPoint team put this up. The PowerPoint team there. Yeah. Thank you PowerPoint. That's great. That's Westbury Square Shopping Center in Southwest Houston, Texas. Incredible place. Really neat. Now there is cool. Now I tell you. I said this earlier. I can. I'm real sensitive to jealousy. I can tell a spirit of jealousy. You guys want to go get a shirt like that. You want a hairdo. The pants. Those shirts are on sale right now for a dollar a piece at the second hand shop. You got to go out real quick to go get those shirts. That's right. That's right. Mike and I both had striped shirts. I saw that first picture up there. That was really something else. That's a picture from about 1985. That yeah. That one is. And that's Bob Jones. But anyway. So let's get the slide of the land up there. Oh no. This is a copy of the deed to demonstrate from Harry. And then see the next page. Oh there's the land. Okay. Now you can see the Redbridge Center at the top. And then you've got the where we are sitting right now. FCF, FCSM over here in the left corner. And then the land over there. And it's kind of outlined. I hope you can see that. So let's go to the next slide. It's just right across the highway from. Right across the corner. We'll take a bit closer look at it in here a second. This is a copy of the deed. This is the first page of it describing the land. The second page with the signatures. The third page. This is just showing the 27th of January of 1958 is when they acquired this piece of property from Harry Truman. And the next page is Harry's and Bess's signatures. So they sold this to them. So. And then I want to take another couple of slides just to show you the property. This is a perspective looking at the property from the FCF building here. And then the next slide is looking at it from Sam's. If you know where Sam's is, you're going to see all those trees across the highway. That's the property. And then the next slide will give you a direct overhead. And this is what it looks like. If you look to the left of there, you see Sam's at the bottom. And then all the way up to the top of there is the Truman Corner Shopping Center. And so we have all the frontage across the way from there. It's 120 acres. So Truman Corners is 60 acres. So it's the same length, but we have double the depth. We're 120 acres across the highway. That's 60. Just to give you an idea of how big it is. This place here is two acres. That's right. About two and a half. So this is two and a half acres right here. So this is 120 acres is what the Lord has given us. It's really significant. You know what, Gary, for the first time in 30 years of ministry, I've never had this happen. I'm going to have sufficient parking. We will. For the first time. I mean, for 30 years, two things I have not had as a leader. I've not had enough bathrooms and never enough parking. We are going to have enough bathrooms and enough parking. That's neat. Hallelujah. First time in 30 years. The interesting part about this property is not only the size and everything. It has all utilities. It's zoned properly. It's been developed for us. The city of Grandview has put all this stuff in. There's probably $3 million worth of utilities in the property. I want to emphasize this because I'm not sure you're all catching the significance. When they widened the highway a couple years ago, they put up nearly $3 million of pipes of sewage and water. The city put that in for us, which takes about nearly a year to get done. So we have $3 million worth of that infrastructure in place. So when we build dorms and buildings, the pipes are all laid there, and they have the fiber optic cable as well, you know, going in there. Now a little bit about this story. For about the last year, I've been working with John Schwart and Glenn Smithson and Warren Israelson in some property that adjoins Shiloh. And we've been trying to work on developing our campus there. And it's been really a stretch because we just didn't have enough land. And we had a trade working with I had a handshake on some adjoining property that we were able to pick up, and that fell through. And I was just really kind of bummed out. But in the meantime, I was working with the city of Grandview. I actually was working on the city of Grandview to buy this piece of property, get the city to buy it so that they could develop it. Because it's just a hole there in the middle of Grandview. And they needed to have this to redevelop it, to encourage developers to come to Grandview and build all those things that we'd like to have here that aren't here. I mean, you get tired of going to Price Chopper, and never get tired of going to Sam's, but get tired of going to Price Chopper. And anyway, so I was working on this for them. And the city determined that they were not in the development business and didn't want it. So I asked their permission for me to go and approach the ownership to talk to them about IHOP. And as I said, they're Jewish people. And so I went to them and listened to their story. And these are the descendants of the gentleman who bought this piece of property. Yes, they're the daughters. The young couple in 1958, it was a young Jewish couple who bought it. They developed Truman Corners. And then are they still alive? No, this is the estate. And so the daughters are dealing with this property. And their father had an unfulfilled vision for this property. It was that it would be a blessing to the city of Grandview, both in the community and economically. And this is unfulfilled. And they have no real desire to do anything with it. So they came to IHOP. They came to the mission space. To visit. To visit. This Jewish family came to check us out. Yeah. I told them who we were, and I sent them all the information, and this, that, and the other. And that didn't scare them off. So they came to visit. And they were standing in the entry lobby of the prayer room. They didn't go into the prayer room. They looked in. They didn't go in. They're standing in the lobby, and some young man walked past them, looked at them, went on about eight paces on past them, turned around, came back to him, pointed a finger at him, says, God told me that you're a clean person. And walked, turned around, and walked off. Tells this to the lady. Tells this, yeah. And so she tells me, she says, we don't do that, you know. And I said, well, we do that, you know. I mean, it's just one of those things we do around here. So at the synagogue, they don't do that. They don't do that at the synagogue. But she was impressed. I mean, the reason that we got the deal that we got from these people is because of you. It's because of you. It's because of Fire in the Night. I've always wanted to do that. Okay. All right. No. Okay. Just to get it out of your system, do it one more time. Fire in the Night, right? See, it works, doesn't it? I love it. I love it. Those guys are cool. I like them. Anyway, it wasn't even Fire in the Night, but that's all right. They weren't here at night. I just wanted to say that. But you wanted to slip it in. You wanted to see if it'd work. But it was because of what's going on at IHOP. It's because of the heart of IHOP touched the heart of these people. And they really made us an offer that we could not refuse on this piece of property. It's a sixth of its value, really. And they want to bless the city of Grandview. And this is going to be an incredible blessing to the city of Grandview because we're going to be there. And as Mike said, it has been paid in full. We have one of our partners from Dallas has stepped forward with that. But what's interesting was there were some stories about this property. There's a hill on this property that's probably the highest place in South Jackson County. And the story went that Harry was standing on the top of this hill, and he could see downtown Kansas City. And he then turned around and overlooked the Blue River Valley and said, oh, what a grand view. And that's how the city got its name. Well, the city's older than Harry. That's folklore. Yeah, so that's folklore. I mean, that didn't work chronologically. So I was kind of bummed. I kind of liked the story. And then Mary Gracie, who's Truman's niece, went out to the Truman Library, and she can get into those places where people who aren't relatives can't get into. And so she dug up the real story. And the real story was that Harry's grandfather was on the porch of the mercantile store there in Grandview, and he looked over the Blue River Valley and said, what a grand view. And so he named the city of Grandview, which is a really cool story. It was okay, but I kind of wanted it to be on this land, and it wasn't. But then I came to find out what his name was. And God is so good with names. I mean, God has names. Names are so cool. And when you study the scriptures, I mean, look at the names. Names are cool. This man's name, Harry's grandfather's name was Solomon Young. We know Solomon means peace, and Young obviously means youth. And Solomon is known for wisdom. He asked God for wisdom to lead God's people. He asked for wisdom to lead God's people. So I believe that our peace-filled youth operating under the wisdom of God is going to rename, transform Grandview. We're going to rename it. It's going to get a new name because of you guys. That's my opinion. Now, he doesn't mean a literal new name. No, we're not going to change the name of Grandview. It's not going to be IHOP Missouri. That's not bad. Cooperville. That's basketball, Cooperstown. Anyway, so we have... This is so fun. Our God is so good, and he kind of did this thing. He just kind of laid it in our lap. And it's way past doing it. I've built shopping centers, apartment buildings, office buildings. I was a prior lawyer for 20 years. I've been in the real estate business and corporate management. And I was doing the best I could. And then God said, hey, look, before you really go mess things up, let me show you what I really want. And he gave us this piece of dirt. And it's just dirt, but I love it. It's got trees all over it. Anyway, next two pictures, if we could. There's one more perspective looking a little bit more at the land. And then one for the fire of the night. There you go. Thank you, Gary Cooper. Let's just thank the Lord for this man of God. Gary, here you go. You know, one more thing. Hal Linhart. Where's Hal at? Hal Linhart. Wave at me, Hal. Okay, he's leading our baptism service. Oh, you are? Oh, I thought Hal was. Oh, good. Well, come on up here, then. Okay, one more thing before Stewie takes over here. I'm the only one that gets to call him that, because I've been calling him that for eight years. And so there's no newcomers on that, are there? You have to, eight years or nothing. That's it. That's how it works. But five minutes down the road, a 71 highway at Bannister Mall, they're tearing down Bannister Mall. They've already published it. It's a done deal. And they're building a soccer stadium. It'll be a 20,000 seat, state-of-the-art arena, five minutes from this property, the Truman property. And so I know that as the Lord begins to give the increase, the 500 and the 5,000, and then beyond that, we have a 20,000 seat building five minutes away. This is an amazing thing, because I know we're going to be using that building many, many, many times. And so I just really like that. One thing I'm going to say, Gary, that I'm going to emphasize, this, these two Jewish ladies of the family came, and they were so struck by the, they said, the young people. They said they saw the young people and young couples, and they said they had just their countenance, and they had light and life in them. And they said, we want to be a part of this. We think this is good for Grandview. I just thought that was awesome. And then the next thing they said, they loved the name of the coffee shop. They said, Higher Grounds Coffee. Who came up with that name? Of course, our own Matt Candler came up with that name. And so, Matt, thank you. Thank you for that, what I thought was a corny name, but I was outvoted. And look, they liked it. Good job, Matt. I'm glad you held the line. Okay, Stuart, give us some leadership here. No, you can't call him Stewie. Okay, just one time. Stewie. That's it. That's it. That's it. You just started some time ago. No, that's it. No, that's it. This is a day of celebration. Let bygones be bygones. Exactly. Okay, David Menconi, are you here? Okay, we're going to have about 15 to 18 candidates, if you are here, to invite you to stand. And I just think that this is just really appropriate, even just as Mike shared, that this property is a sign and a wonder and an invitation from the Lord for us to give ourselves to him in a whole new level in sanctification and the grace of God. And I just think it's just appropriate to be baptized on this day. So I just want to invite you to go ahead and make your way to David. And Ed Hackett, are you here? Okay, Ed Hackett. What we're going to do in just a few moments, and David is going to just brief them as to the process. Just go ahead, the 15 to 18 of you, just go ahead and make your way over there. Have the worship team come up also. And he's just going to brief them on the traffic and how to do it. Now we're going to baptize them, and then after the baptism, they're going to make their way over to over to Ed Hackett. He's going to have a prophecy team, and just going to share the word of the Lord with them for their lives. But just for a moment, if you just turn to Romans 6, just real quick, just Romans chapter 6. I just want to just take just a few moments and talk about the importance of baptism. One of the things that is clear in the scriptures is that baptism is not a suggestion, but rather that it's the very commandment of the Lord. And one of the things that we are saying, what we're saying in our baptism, it says in Romans 6, that we were all baptized in Christ. And when we were baptized in Christ, we were baptized in his death, we were baptized in his burial, and we were raised to the newness of life. And when we get baptized, as these 15 or 18 are getting baptized, what they are saying, they are acknowledging publicly that they are, that they have participated in the death and the burial and in the resurrection of Christ, and that for all the days of their lives, that they are going to participate with the power of the newness of life, the power of the resurrection, the power to to grow in a life of love and holiness before the Lord. And since last night, as I've been thinking about today, I've been thinking about Revelation chapter 12, verse 10, it says, where it talks about the church at the end of the age, that they would not love their lives even unto death. And that's what they're declaring. One of them came to me earlier and said, is it, is it, he said, he said, I am more nervous than I'm excited. Is that normal? And I said, that's very normal. I said, that, that feeling, that trembling that you're feeling is the, is the fear of the Lord, because you're about to enter into something that is holy before the Lord, that it's more than just kind of being, you know, it's more than a Christian ritual, but rather it is a statement in a, to the spiritual community and to the angels of heaven and to the Lord himself, that they are going to love him with all their heart, mind, soul, and strength, and they will love him even unto death. And so, so I just want to invite you to stand. We're just going to take just a few moments and just, just go into a time of worship. I just want to encourage as many of you to stay and, and just be, and just participate in worship and ask the Lord to, to bless them and for the Lord to, to release an impartation of his spirit, even upon them, even now, that the Lord would release a spirit of revelation upon the prophetic teams as they share the word of the Lord. And so I just want to invite us all that's in the room as you're staying to participate in this, not just to be spectators, but just to sit before the Lord and, and to worship the Lord and to pray and to invite his presence because this is a real joyous occasion before the Lord as these are, are sealing the deal as it were. They prayed the prayer of repentance before the Lord, but in Baptism, they are making a public declaration and a statement that they will give their lives to him and that they would surrender their lives under the complete leadership of the Lord Jesus Christ. And so Father, we, we take our stand before your throne, Lord. We worship you. Lord, we thank you for the cross. Lord, we thank you for the blood of your son. Lord, we thank you that as we turn to you, as we gave ourselves to your Lordship, Lord, that we died, Lord, that the old has passed away and that the new has come, that we are now a new creation and we are buried with you and that we have been raised to the newness of life to be seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Lord, that we might be partakers of your divine nature. Lord, we worship you. It's good. It was going to take two to three minutes just to worship the Lord and then we're going to baptize our brothers and sisters. What can make me whole? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. What can make me whole? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Oh, precious is the flow that makes me white as snow. No other fount I know. Nothing but the blood of Jesus. For my pardon this I see. For my pardon this I see. Nothing but the blood of Jesus. For my cleansing this I flee. Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Nothing can for sin, nothing can for sin atone. Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Not a good, not a good that I have dreamed. Nothing can, nothing can for sin atone. Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Not a good, not a good that I have dreamt. Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Oh, precious is the flow that makes me white as snow. No other fount I know. Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Oh, precious is the flow that makes me white as snow. No other fount I know. Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Baptize them with your fire. Lay hold of them, God. Mark them. Mark them, Lord. Apprehend them. Lay hold of them, O God, and cause them to lay hold of you. Lord, I ask you for the spirit of holiness, the power of the resurrection, to rise up within them. Touch them, Lord, even now. Lord, I ask you, God, for the gift of the fear of the Lord, to be with them all the days of their lives. They are yours. They are yours. You purchased them through the blood of your Son. Cause them to know, God, the riches and the glory of your inheritance in them. They are near and dear to your holy heart. Mark them. In Jesus' name. You may be seated, if you'd like. Is that the first five? Just come up and make your way over here. And there's just different ones. Father, we thank you for Joseph. Lord, we ask you, Lord, for the grace of God, Lord, to be manifest in his heart and his soul. Lord, I pray, Lord, that you would establish in him, God, the deep vision for complete obedience, the vision of the crown of life to be for those who've endured until the end. Lord, I ask you for might in the inner man of Joseph. Do you renounce the world, the flesh, and the devil and surrender your whole life under the leadership of the Lord Jesus Christ? Yes, I do. We baptize you in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. David, do you renounce the world, the flesh, and the devil and give the entirety of your heart to the supreme leadership of the Lord Jesus Christ? Absolutely. We baptize you in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Do you renounce the world, the flesh, and the devil and give all of your heart under the supreme leadership of the Lord Jesus Christ as the supreme joy of your life? Yep. I just want to pray for you. Lord, I ask you, 1 Peter 1.8, Lord, I ask you that all the days of his life, that joy unspeakable and full of glory would be the portion of his life, that the joy of the Lord would be the strength of his heart. Strengthen him, God, with the oil of gladness, joy unspeakable and full of glory, Lord, that he would be one who would bring joy to the lives of many, God. Even as John the Baptist, John 5.35, he was a burning and a shining lamp, and your people rejoiced in his light for a season. So let many rejoice in the light of this man's life as you fill him, O God, with joy unspeakable and full of glory. In Jesus' name we baptize you in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Do you renounce the flesh and the enemy and make Jesus Christ the supreme leader, the King of kings and the Lord of lords of your life, that your whole heart belongs to him? Yes, I do. We baptize you in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Lillian, do you renounce the world, the flesh and the devil and make Jesus the supreme leader of your life? Yes. Father, we ask you for the word of God, Lord, to come alive in her spirit. Lord, you said that your word is like a double-edged sword. It's living and active. Lord, I pray for this lover of truth. Lord, I pray Psalm 51, verse 6, Lord, that truth will be formed deep within her inmost parts. Michaela, do you renounce the world, the flesh and the devil and make Jesus the supreme leader of your life? Yes. We baptize you in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Let's go have another worship song. This is a real joy before heaven. I just want to encourage you, if there's anyone here and you have not been baptized, I encourage you to talk to someone because, again, baptism is not an option. It is a commandment of the Scripture. If you've not been baptized, I encourage you to get with David and they can give you all the instructions as to how to go forward. But if there's anyone here that's not been baptized, I really want to urge you, according to the authority of Scripture, to come and to baptize yourself in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. Amen.
