Jeremiah 31:32 Summary
This verse is saying that the new covenant God will make with His people will be different from the old one He made with their ancestors when He led them out of Egypt. The old covenant was broken by the Israelites, even though God loved and cared for them deeply, like a husband loves his wife. The new covenant will be a better one, where God will write His laws on our hearts and minds, as mentioned in Jeremiah 31:33, and we will have a deeper and more personal relationship with Him, similar to what is described in 2 Corinthians 3:6. This means that we can have a fresh start and a new chance to follow God and keep His commandments, with His help and guidance, as promised in Jeremiah 31:34 and Hebrews 10:16-17.
