2 Peter 2:10

Deliverance from False Prophets

9if all this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment. 10Such punishment is specially reserved for those who indulge the corrupt desires of the flesh and despise authority. Bold and self-willed, they are unafraid to slander glorious beings.11Yet not even angels, though greater in strength and power, dare to bring such slanderous charges against them before the Lord.

Plain English Version
Yes, God will really punish people that do dirty things. They think about wrong ways to get their bodies to feel good, then they do those bad things. They reckon they don’t have to listen to any boss, not even God. So God will properly punish those bad people, even more than he will punish other bad people. Lying teachers are like animals Those lying teachers think they are better than everyone else, and they think they can do anything they want to. They even rubbish strong spirits.
Translation for Translators
He will punish especially severely those ungodly teachers who teach false things who do the things that their self-directed nature desires, things that ◄defile them/cause them to be completely impure►. Those teachers of false teachings despise all beings who rule over them. Because those teachers of false doctrine will behave wickedly and will entice people to do the same things that they do, God will destroy them. 2 Peter 2:10d-16 Because those teachers of false doctrines are extremely arrogant/proud [DOU], they ◄are not afraid to insult/boldly speak evil about► glorious beings in heaven (OR, glorious/wonderful beings who rule over people).
