17 Bible Verses on Serving God

17 verses

Scripture emphasizes the importance of dedicating one's life to serving God with sincerity and devotion. In 1 Samuel, the prophet Samuel urges the people to fear and serve the Lord faithfully, recognizing the greatness of God's works on their behalf. The New Testament letters, such as Colossians and 1 Corinthians, encourage believers to work diligently for the Lord, knowing that their efforts will not be in vain. As Jesus teaches in Matthew, serving God requires undivided loyalty, and as Paul writes in Romans, believers are called to offer their bodies as living sacrifices, serving God with their entire being.
