In times of loss, the Bible offers comfort and hope to those who have experienced the pain of miscarriage. The Psalms, particularly in verses such as Psalms 34:18-19, remind us that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Exodus 23:26 and Psalms 139:13-16 reveal God's sovereignty over all life, including the unborn, and His intimate involvement in shaping each person from conception. The LORD is near to the brokenhearted; He saves the contrite in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him from them all.
