14 Bible Verses on Health and Fitness

14 verses

The Bible teaches that the body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and as such, it should be honored and cared for. In 1 Corinthians, believers are reminded that their bodies belong to God, and they are encouraged to use them for His glory. The apostle Paul also notes in 1 Timothy that physical training has some value, and Genesis records how God provided nutritious food for humanity's well-being. Additionally, the Bible expresses a desire for believers to prosper in all things, including their physical health, as seen in 3 John, and Philippians reminds us that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
