12 Bible Verses on Doing Drugs

12 verses

Scripture warns believers to be mindful of the temptations and dangers of substance abuse, as Satan seeks to devour the unwary (1 Peter 5:8). The body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and Christians are called to honor God with their physical bodies (1 Corinthians 6:19). The apostle Paul lists drunkenness and other forms of immorality as works of the flesh, contrasting them with the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:19-21). God is faithful to provide a way of escape from temptation, and believers are urged to flee from sinful desires (1 Corinthians 10:13). Instead of being controlled by substances, Christians are filled with the Spirit, walking in wisdom and thankfulness (Ephesians 5:18).
