In times of need, believers are encouraged to turn to God for assistance, trusting in His power and loving care. Jesus teaches that whatever is asked in His name will be given, as recorded in John 14:13-14, emphasizing the importance of prayer in seeking help. The Psalms, such as Psalms 121:2, reassure us that our help comes from the Lord, who is always available to support and guide us. As Matthew 7:7 and Matthew 11:28 remind us, we can confidently approach God with our requests, knowing that He invites us to come to Him for rest and relief, and as Philippians 4:13 affirms, we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip; your Protector will not slumber. Behold, the Protector of Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is the shade on your right hand. The sun will not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will guard you from all evil; He will preserve your soul. The LORD will watch over your coming and going, both now and forevermore.

This is what the LORD says: “Keep your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears, for the reward for your work will come, declares the LORD. Then your children will return from the land of the enemy.
Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will surely help you; I will uphold you with My right hand of righteousness.
You crave what you do not have; you kill and covet, but are unable to obtain it. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask.
