The Moral Law, as understood in the biblical context, refers to the universal principles of right and wrong that are rooted in God's character and revealed in Scripture. According to Romans 2:14-15, the Moral Law is written on the hearts of all people, enabling them to distinguish between good and evil, and is further expounded in the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:1-17) and the teachings of Jesus (Matthew 22:37-40). The Moral Law is also closely tied to the concept of God's holiness, as expressed in Leviticus 11:44-45, which emphasizes the importance of separating oneself from sin and pursuing a life of righteousness. Through the Moral Law, Christians are called to live a life that reflects God's holy character, as guided by Scripture and empowered by the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).
