Small Groups

1 sermons

Small groups serve as a vital expression of Christian fellowship and community, reflecting the early church's model as seen in Acts 2:42-47, where believers devoted themselves to teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer. In these intimate settings, members can encourage one another, fulfilling the command in Hebrews 10:24-25 to spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Jesus Himself emphasized the importance of community, teaching in Matthew 18:20 that where two or three gather in His name, He is present among them. Small groups provide a space for believers to share their burdens, as Paul instructs in Galatians 6:2 to carry each other's burdens, thereby fulfilling the law of Christ. Furthermore, these gatherings allow for deeper study and understanding of Scripture, enabling believers to grow in their faith together, as highlighted in Colossians 3:16, which encourages teaching and admonishing one another with wisdom. Through small groups, the body of Christ is strengthened, and individuals are equipped to live out their faith in a supportive and nurturing environment.
