Divine Call

1 sermons

The concept of Divine Call refers to God's sovereign invitation to individuals to follow Him and fulfill a specific purpose or ministry, as seen throughout the Bible. In the Old Testament, God calls individuals such as Abraham (Genesis 12:1-3) and Moses (Exodus 3:4) to lead His people, while in the New Testament, Jesus calls His disciples to follow Him (Matthew 4:19). The apostle Paul writes about the Divine Call in Romans 8:28, where he notes that God works all things together for the good of those who are called according to His purpose, and in 2 Timothy 1:9, he describes the call as a holy calling, not based on human works but on God's own purpose and grace. Through the Divine Call, God establishes a personal relationship with His people, guiding and empowering them to fulfill His will, as expressed in Psalms 23:1, where David declares, "The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing."
