Hi guys, I hope that you are having a good afternoon, a good evening, a good morning, wherever you are in the world. And as always knowing the strength of the Lord and the leading indeed of the Lord. And there is no doubt that we are in precarious times, uncertain times.
For us even as the redeemed of the Lord, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. But not precarious and uncertain to the Lord. The Lord knows the end from the beginning.
And more than ever, we as God's people need the voice of the Lord. We need the leading of our God. We don't seek to look to other sources, but the only source of truth and that is our God, the Holy Scriptures.
I do believe wholeheartedly that the enemy is ramping things up against the Church. As we know much is going on and much is taking place in the world today and even against the Church. There's no doubt that the strategy of hell is to see the Church capitulate, to cease from operations, to cease from worship, to cease from prayer, to cease from preaching and all measures and all strategies of hell shall be implemented or being implemented, that again that the Church would capitulate and surrender.
You know, I believe that another great strategy of the wicked one and the hordes of hell is the war of attrition, attrition warfare. And for anybody that doesn't know, attrition warfare is a military strategy consisting of belligerent attempts to win a war by worrying down the enemy to the point of collapse through continuous losses in personnel and material. And I have no doubt guys in this are that that type of warfare is employed by hell.
There's no doubt that the enemy seeks the collapse of the Church, seeks that the Church will be in disarray, that the Church would turn against one another, its members. And so the enemy is throwing everything at the Church in this hour against God's people, against what we have, our possessions, in the hope again that we would collapse and perhaps cease our worship unto God. But I believe that the Lord wants to stir up our hearts today to continue to fight this good fight of faith and to continue to bellow out the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and continue indeed with no restrictions to magnify the Lord Jesus Christ.
Oh come and let us magnify the Lord together. And that is imperative, dear brothers and sisters, that we magnify this great God of ours, this great God, that we adhere to God's word and God alone and what he says. And as we do, as Peter said to those that were in opposition to the gospel, is it right for us to obey God, our man, to obey you over God? And dear friends, today we must obey God.
Our allegiance alone is to the Lord. Our God is to the Saviour. I pledged allegiance many years ago to the Queen when I enlisted into the armed forces, into the British Army.
But this is what I say today, that my allegiance as a Christian, your allegiance as a Christian, is to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords who trumps every government. His ways and his word is superior to all. And so let us be mindful today that our allegiance is to the Lamb and to the Lamb's word and to worship unto the Lamb.
We cannot minimize it. We cannot compromise it. We cannot dilute it.
We must not in this hour, we must continue through the help and power of the Holy Spirit to magnify the Son of God, the only begotten Son of God. He deserves it so. He deserves our worship, the entirety indeed of worship, not part worship, not partial worship, but whole worship.
And dear friends, though he slay us, yet we must trust in him for we know that our Redeemer lives. So the weapons of hell are in operation and continue to be in operation against us. And let me say this just in closing, the Apostle Paul said this, that Satan hindered him.
Now some of you may know what that means, some may not, but Paul was talking about men, men who were under the influence of the demonic. He said men interfered with regards to his ministry. And dear friends, Satan seeks to hinder the advancement of the church through men and through governments and through powers to be in our hands today.
Satan seeks to hinder the gospel. He seeks to hinder the worship that is due the Lord. And we must not let whatever hindering dissuade us, discourage us from standing firm in the Lord and given what is rightly due to the Lord on the Lord's day and every day.
I will bless the Lord at all times and his praise shall continually be in my mouth. And my mouth, dear friends, as I'm sure your mouth will continue to praise and magnify the God indeed of our salvation and will not be shut by anyone. Satan seeks to shut, Satan seeks to confine and to close, but he shall not prevail because the Lord Jesus Christ said that he would build his church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church, shall not prevail against the remnants, shall not prevail against the blood bought people of God.
The called out ones, you're called out, we're called out, we're called out from the world, love not the world, neither the things that are in the world for the world is at enmity with God. The world does not love God. The world despises God and everything our holy God stands for.
So we love not the world. We are not in fellowship with the world. Our fellowship is with light, not with darkness.
Our fellowship is with the Lord. Our allegiance is to the Lord, our God and only the Lord. Hallelujah.
May the Lord continue to empower us all, to give us wisdom, to give us savvy, to be able to recognize the stratagems of hell in place and working right at this time. The church cannot cave in nor collapse because of pressure from outside sources. The church must stand as Elijah, the prophet of God, the man of God stood on Mount Carmel with the courage of the Lord when all around him were gnashing their teeth and desiring his demise, desiring his death.
But the man of God looked to heaven. The man of God would not be influenced. The man of God would not surrender.
The man of God would not bow down to idols. The man of God would not be persuaded by the king or by any other. His allegiance was to the Lord God, his God.
And dear brother, dear friend, your allegiance again is to the Lord and there is much pressure and there is much gnashing of teeth against us to do contrary to the Lord, but we cannot bend, we cannot buckle, we cannot surrender, we cannot bow down in this hour. The church must stand, it must stand and it must be fixed upon the God of our salvation, upon the author and the finisher of the faith. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah.
Praise be to God, the God that answers by fire. Hallelujah, the God that rents the heavens. Indeed, hallelujah.
Praise God, we cannot cower, we cannot collapse but we must have the courage of the Lord again to fight the good fight and to soldier on in the spirit indeed of the Lord. God bless you guys.
