How to Never Fear Anything Again

Another thing about verse 1, The Lord is my shepherd. My shepherd, here King David is saying, He is mine. He is my shepherd, not anyone else's.

This is more, King David is saying, The Lord needs to be yours. You need to make Him yours. You need to allow Him to be yours.

It has to be a personal, one-on-one relationship. Don't ever approach the Lord as on an obligatory kind of an approach. This is not about fulfilling duties.

This is not about, you know, achieving targets and reaching targets. No, this is about you as a shepherd, you need to have an intimate relationship with the Good Shepherd. It's an intimate relationship.

It is a personal relationship. That's why King David says, The Lord is my shepherd. He is mine.

Nobody comes anywhere near Him. He is mine. You know when a guy falls in love with this Rosella, and he says, She is mine, baby.

Anybody gets anywhere near her, I'll shred him. She is mine. King David says, The Lord is mine.

I live with Him. I breathe Him. He is my life.

He is my shepherd. Since the Lord is my shepherd, the second half of the verse, I shall not want. See, when the Lord is mine, what shall I want? If God is with me, who is against me? When God is your provider, what are you going to lack? Absolutely nothing.

So since the Lord is my shepherd, definitely the outcome will be, I will need nothing. I shall not want. I shall not want.

Here we pause for a moment and look at the word shepherd. We pause for a moment and look at the word shepherd. What does it mean to be the shepherd? And I'm talking here about Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

There are shepherds, but there is only one who qualifies to be the only good shepherd. So what does it mean to be the shepherd? And I would like to approach this in a spiritual, contemplative way. You probably have heard us say this before.

The Holy Bible can be approached in so many different ways. And depending on what kind of approach you have, it determines what kind of a commentary you will have. There are so many ways to approach the Holy Bible.

There is the literal approach. There is the biblical approach. There is the spiritual approach.

There is the contemplative approach. There is the theological approach. And there is the typological approach.

That's why the Holy Bible is not as easy as it may sound. Some people read a verse and they run with it thinking they are Mr. Know-it-all. Very dangerous, my dear friend, because the Holy Bible is the Word of the Infinite God.

And to His Word, there is no limit to the way you can approach it, explain it, try to live it, and share it with others around you. This is why very hard and very difficult when somebody focuses on a verse and says, this is exactly what it means. My dear friend, you could be very easily mistaken and you will mislead people along with you.

So I'd like to approach this in a spiritual, contemplative way talking about the Shepherd. The Shepherd. What does the Shepherd do? Number one, His eyes are watching over you 24-7.

His eyes are watching over you 24-7. When we look in the book of Deuteronomy, chapter 11, verse 12, the Lord God is speaking here, Deuteronomy 11, verse 12, it says, The eyes of the Lord your God are always on it from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year. The eyes of the Lord God are always on you from the beginning of the year till the very end of the year.

Meaning, the Good Shepherd, His eyes are watching over you from the very beginning of your life till the very end of your life. There will never ever be a moment that Christ has not watched over you. His eyes never left your sight from the moment you were conceived in your mother's womb till the moment I am buried in that grave.

Christ's eyes, who is THE Shepherd, His eyes were watching over me without fail. You will never find such a Shepherd like Jesus Christ. I go to sleep, Christ never.

I fail, Christ never. I am weak, Christ is never. I misunderstand, Christ never.

I misinterpret things, Christ never. I am limited, Christ is infinite. He is the only Good Shepherd, THE Shepherd.

The Lord is looking after you always. The Lord is caring for you always, my beloveds. When everyone around you fails you, Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd, never fails you.

So many times have we been in situations where the closest of the closest people to us could not have done anything. And not only there, not only people around me, but even me, I saw myself useless, hopeless, unable to do anything, yet prior to that I thought I can do anything and everything. But when I faced this challenging moment in life, I found myself the weakest of the weakest, useless, hopeless, miserable, giving up.

But Christ, when I gave up on myself, Christ never gave up on me. He was always there. When people failed me, including my own self, to my own self.

But Christ is the never failing Good Shepherd. He is always there, watching over you, caring for you, 24-7, from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year, which is your entire life, my beloved, which is your entire life. The Shepherd is amazing.

Why? On one hand, the Shepherd is saying to all of us, the Shepherd, He is Jesus Christ. On one hand He is saying, my eyes are always on you. That's on one hand.

But on the other hand, He says, for you have cast all my sins behind your back, Isaiah 38-17. For you have cast all my sins behind your back, Isaiah 38-17. The Lord who is the Good Shepherd is saying, I have cast all your sins behind my back, meaning, I see your sins no more.

When I've put your sins behind my back, I don't see your sins anymore. And at the same time, He says, my eyes are on you, from the beginning of the year till the end of the year. So when we put Deuteronomy 11-12 and Isaiah 38-17, we see two parallel lines, but made possible by Christ, the Good Shepherd.

Deuteronomy 11-12, my eyes are on you. Isaiah 38-17, I've cast all of your sins behind my back. So when you put my sins behind your back, oh Lord, you don't see my sins.

He says, correct. Because I am all love for you. And when I am all love for you, my eyes see you, but do not see your sins.

Because I love you. Wow! That is the Good Shepherd. Jesus Christ sees us, but He chooses not to see our sins, because He came to save us, to deliver us, to forgive us, to redeem us.

Deuteronomy 11-12 and Isaiah 38-17, two parallel lines can never meet, but they met through Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd. What is impossible to men, is possible to God. My beloved, this is the Lord where He sees me, but He chooses not to see my sins, because with His precious blood, He washed me clean, and dumped all my sins behind His back.

Where will you find such a Shepherd like Him? Never! There is only one, and one only, and His name is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen? Come on, Amen? Come on, cheer up, Amen? I like that. I like that.

I am seeing you, but not your sins, because I am the only Good Shepherd, and the word good is God, and God is love. God is love. And what does love say? Love covers many errors.

1 Corinthians 13, love covers many errors. My beloved, when it comes to me, when it comes to me, now a Shepherd can be someone like me, at home, parents, people can be also Shepherd, in the generalized sense. But when it comes to me, a human being, as a Shepherd, when I look at another person, how do I look at that person? I'll look at them on either of two ways.

One, I will see that person, and I will see all of their sins. When I look at them, I'll see them, and I'll see all of their sins. Or on the other hand, I will see them not at all.

I'll wipe them off my radar. Let me elaborate more. You see, me as a person, I and my sins are one.

We are one. Whose sins? Me. And what am I? A sinner.

So I and my sins are one. So when I look at a person, do I say, this person I really love, but their mistakes I'm hiding behind my back? Or do I look at them and I say, I love them, but I'm going to shred you when you go wrong. I'm going to judge you when you go wrong.

Or do I tell the whole world about them, and about what they have done. You see, we look at people, even though we say we love them, but we still end up judging them. Yet I'm a sinner, looking at another sinner like me, and I'm judging that sinner who is exactly like me.

Yet the Holy of Holies, the Good Shepherd Jesus Christ of Nazareth, who is all holiness, looks at me as the sinner, and He sees me, but He does not see my sin. He never came to judge me, my beloved. Yet if there was anyone who qualified to be the judge, it was the Lord Jesus.

The Lord Jesus is the only true judge, but He chose not to judge. And me, the human being, who has no right to judge, I chose to judge people like myself. What will the Lord, what will I say to the Lord when He calls me, and says, give me your accounts.

Let me see what you've done for me. What will I say when the Lord points the finger at me, and says, why did you judge? What will I say? Oh, because I find an excuse for it. The Lord says, there are no excuses, since I am the only true judge, yet I chose not to judge.

Who are you to judge then? I'm the holy of holies. I look at you as the sinner, but I choose to see you, not your sins, because I love you. You see, the problem is, when love is lacking, judgment is easily made possible.

When love is lacking, judgment is the next step to be made. Be very careful. This is why the Lord, He warns us and says, do not judge, lest you be judged.

Do not judge, lest you be judged, my beloved. King David here says, since the Lord is my shepherd, the Lord loves me, and with His precious blood, He washed away all of my sins, and put them behind His back. Therefore, I shall not want, since my sins are forgiven, since the only true judge, who has the full right to judge, chose not to judge me.

Then what am I lacking anymore? Nothing. I will need nothing anymore. I shall not want, because the one who can judge me, and finds me guilty, chose not to judge me.

Therefore, I shall not want. I will fear no one, I will fear nothing. An advice, love everyone, fear no one.

Love everyone, fear no one. Love everyone, but fear no one. And fear nothing.

If you truly, entrust your entire being, and your entire life, in the hands of the Good Shepherd, who is your Lord, then you need to believe, and this is the truth, you need to believe, you will never ever, be in need of anything. You will lack nothing, all the days of your life, until the Lord calls you home. He will always be the one, who provides everything you lack, and everything you need.

But, you need to trust Him, and let Him shepherd you. Don't lead this life your way, let Christ lead this life for you, because He is the one, who created it, after all. Let the Master of all Masters, lead it for you, because He knows how it functions.

He knows how it functions. Oh, my goodness. Love everyone, fear no one, for the Lord is my shepherd.

I think today, we will be breaking the world record. People hated me. People went against me.

People tried to kill me. But this shepherd, Jesus Christ, killed Himself to save me. People want to kill me, but the Lord says, I've killed myself to give you life.

I've killed myself to deliver you. I've killed myself, to bring you back into the light, and into eternal life. I came to give you life, abundant, eternal life.

So, I chose to die for you. You will never find a shepherd like that. A shepherd that put His life, on the line for you.

And He did it. He not only said it, but He did it. So many times, we say things, but we don't follow through with them.

We break our promises. We say, I'll do this. We never do.

We say, we'll go there. We'll never go. We say so many things, and we fall short of all the things we say.

But the Lord, everything that came out of His holy mouth, He fulfilled it in action. He put it into action, and He did it. He said, I love you more than myself.

I came to die for you. And He literally died on the cross, for you, for me, and for the entire world. For the entire world, my beloved.

So this shepherd killed himself to save me. I will never find anyone, anywhere near, what Jesus Christ is all about. The Lord is my shepherd.

I shall not want. Now, who is the Lord? The Lord is Yahweh. In Hebrew, Aramaic, Syriac, Yahuwah.

Yahuwah. That's in Syriac. Yahuwah.

In English, they pronounce it Yahweh. But the proper pronunciation in Syriac, Aramaic, is Yahuwah. Yahuwah, my beloved, just for your own information, you see, because when you go back to the original language, there is a lot of meanings in it.

When it's translated, it loses the meaning, which is only normal in translations. So Yahuwah is a compounded word. It is two in one.

There is the letter Yut, which is equivalent to the pronunciation of the letter E in English. Yut, E. So there is the letter Yut, which is the beginning of the name. Yut, Yahuwah.

So Yut, and there is Yahuwah, meaning, I am that I am, which He said it to Moses on Mount Sinai. Because Moses the prophet, he said, your people are waiting for me at the foot of the mountain. When I go back to them, they're gonna ask me, who was this God that you spoke to? What am I gonna say? What's your name? He said, go and tell them, I am that I am.

That is the English translation. Yahuwah. But in Hebrew or Aramaic Syriac, Yahuwah, it means God the Compassionate.

God the Compassionate. God the Compassionate. But it also means, I am that I am.

He said, go and tell them, this is my name. I am that I am. I'll give you two meanings to what this name holds.

One, I am that I am. What does that mean, God? You are that you are. He says, go and tell my people, go and tell the whole world, I am that I am.

Next time when you look at the tree, I am that tree. When you look at the bird, I am that bird. When you look at the sky, I am the sky.

I am the stars. I am the ocean. I am the land.

I am you. I am everything. I am in all, and all is in me.

I am that I am. I am your existence, and without me, there is no existence. Without me, there is no you, there is nothing.

I simply am all, and all are me. So next time you look at yourself, my child, you better see God in you, because God created you in his image, according to his likeness. So you want to search for God? Don't search externally, search internally.

That's where God is. When you find your true self, you found God. When you found your true self, you found God.

The problem with people not believing in God, because they are living a life of pretending. They are not living a real life. They are faking it.

They are putting on a show. They are putting a mask on and acting. They are saying to themselves, I am someone that I was never that person that God created me once upon a time.

I am living a double life. I'm living a fake me. And as long as we live our fake me, I'll never be able to find God.

The moment you come back to your real person, and be honest with yourself, with your entire being, be honest in everything you do. The moment you are honest with yourself, God will be revealed in you. Because God will only reveal Himself to you when you are honest, not faking things.

I am that I am, Yahweh. I am the reason for everyone and for everything to come into existence and have life. On the other hand, Yahweh.

When you read more so in the Old Testament, you will see God has so many different names. So many different names. I'll give you an example.

The very first name in the entire Holy Bible, the very first name given to God, is in Genesis chapter 1, verse 1. The very beginning to the entire Holy Bible. Genesis 1, 1. In the beginning, in English it reads God. But in Hebrew, which is the original text of the Old Testament, no, it doesn't read God.

In Hebrew it reads, in the beginning, Elohim, created the heavens and the earth. Wow. Why this name? Why these names to God? Why? Because every name is being mentioned for a reason, because God is trying to convey a message.

And that message, this name is relevant to that particular message. So when we come to Genesis 1, 1, what is the message God is conveying? He's saying, I am the Creator. In the beginning, Elohim, created the heavens and the earth.

Now, when it comes to creation, God used the name Elohim. Not Yahweh, not Almighty, not anything else. Elohim.

Why? Because Elohim, my beloved, in the original text, Hebrew, which is also Aramaic. See, Aramaic, Hebrew, Arabic, Semitic languages, they are very related, they're cousins, one family. So Elohim is literally the magnification of the singular format.

I'll explain what I mean. You see, when Mr. Trump, God bless him, I love the man. When Mr. Trump stands and gives his speech, being the president of the most powerful nation in the world, when he stands and he speaks in a formal way, when it's a written speech, he will never say, I, the president.

He will say, we, the president of the United States of America. He will never use a singular format of a language. He will use a pluralistic approach.

Why? Because the position he holds is the most powerful position in the world. And if he speaks in a singular format, that is a weak language. It doesn't go hand in hand with this mighty powerful position he holds.

So he will say, we, the president, not I. Because I is weak, but we is powerful. See, so the word we is relevant to the position that he holds. This is exactly how God spoke in Genesis 1. When it came to creation, hear, O Israel, your Lord is one God.

We Christians believe in one God. We don't believe in three gods. Father, Son, Holy Spirit, they are all one God for God's sake.

And please let go of this argument. Let go, please. Move on.

It's only one God, okay? But it can't be just one, and that's a different topic. We'll get to it when we get to it next time, by the grace of the Lord. But God is one.

But God, when He came to creating things, He did not speak in a singular format. He spoke in the pluralistic format. He said, in the beginning, we created the heavens and the earth, not I. Elohim, in Hebrew, is the multiplication of a singular format.

In the beginning, we created the heavens and the earth. And we see the word we very visible as we progress in chapter 1. And when you read further down in chapter 1, you will see. And God saw it was dark.

And God said, let there be light. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. We see three in one, and one in three.

Who saw, who said, and who hovered over the waters? God the Father saw. God the Son said. Since the Son is the Logos, the Word, then the Word speaks.

Are you with me? So who created you? The Word. That's why when we failed God, the Word came down and became flesh. Not the Father, not the Holy Spirit.

It is the One who created us. It's the very One who came to save us when we failed Him. God the Father saw.

God the Son said. God the Holy Spirit hovered over the waters. Try on God in chapter 1 of Genesis.

Stamp sealed, non-argumentative. But why did He use the name Elohim when it came to creation? He wants to say, I God, I am very powerful and almighty. I am the only being that creates everything without nothing.

From nothing I make everything, and from everything I can make nothing. In this, it is we, not I. I am mighty in creation. You can create, but you can only create things from raw materials.

Not from non-existent. You can create a table, but you did not create the tree. But you see, I created the tree with no raw materials.

I just called it to be, and it came. And it wasn't definitely the Big Bang. Mother Nature.

Get a life. I am going to go to university and give a lesson to all these so-called professors there. Teach them a lesson to be quiet and not to go any further with this nonsense.

Of Darwin evolution. One of the round tables, an atheist to the core, against Jesus Christ of Nazareth. And if you don't know what the round table is, go and study and read about it.

This was planned to brainwash people to take them away from God. And what better place than universities and colleges and high schools. Brainwashing the younger generation to take them away from God.

Don't ever listen to this nonsense. I don't give one penny who that professor is. With love and respect I am saying, but I am giving him uppercut because I have red belt in karate.

In the beginning God, Elohim, He created the heavens and the earth from nothing. He is the only one who can do this. But let's come to Yahweh, the Lord.

The Lord is Yahweh. Yahweh, on the other hand, He is an open check. What does an open check mean? An open check means, God as Yahweh, He is everything you lack and everything you need.

You see, when it comes to creation, He is Elohim. Mighty in creating, out of nothing, everything. But when it comes to provision, you see, God is the creator, but also God is the provider.

As the provider, He is not Elohim, He is Yahweh. See, now you get an idea how the Holy Bible talks. So the names don't come out of thin air.

They come with a meaning, with a purpose. Why? Because the author of the book is the Holy Spirit, who is God, the source of wisdom. He knows what He is saying, 100% He knows.

So when it comes to creation, I am God, Elohim. But when it comes to provision, I am God, Yahweh. Yahweh, God the provider.

Elohim, God the creator. But in provision, I am Yahweh. And what is Yahweh? When you come to the Lord and say, I am hungry, the Lord, Yahweh, will reply to you.

And will say, I am the living bread that descended from heaven. He who eats me shall never hunger again. When you come to the Lord and say, I am thirsty, He will say, I am the living waters.

He who drinks me shall never thirst again. When you say, I am lost, He will say, I am the good shepherd seeking that lost sheep until I find it and I bring it back to the flock. When you say, I am weak, Yahweh will say, I am your strength.

When you say, I am dead, He will say, I am the life and the resurrection. When you say, I am lost, I am confused, I don't know what the truth is, I don't know how to live. He will say, I am the way, the truth and the life.

He who eats my body and drinks my blood lives in me forever. And also, He who heeds my word and believes in it, even if he dies, he shall live. All of this, who said it? Yahweh, the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Yahweh. Jesus says, I am everything you need and you lack. I provide.

Don't seek any other God but me because all of them are fake. I am the only true God. I am the only true God.

I provide where you lack. I build where you destroy. I find where you lose.

I save when you fail. I give life when you die. I bring out of the grave, out of the grave life and out of darkness light.

I am the provider. The Lord is Yahweh. And who is this Lord? Jesus Christ.

And who is Jesus Christ? The shepherd. Since the Lord Jesus is the shepherd, and since the Lord is Yahweh, the provider, then definitely I shall not want. Do you see? The first half of verse 1 is what you need to believe in and trust in.

The second half of verse 1, it's stamp sealed. Done deal. You shall not want.

I, the Lord, who is your shepherd, will make sure always, without failing, I will make sure always that you are never in need. And didn't the Lord Jesus say it to his 12 apostles? Did he say it? Absolutely he did. What did he say to them? He said, all this time you came and followed me.

Did you ever, one night, slept needing of anything? They said, no Lord. We never slept in need of anything. He said, from this moment onward, sell everything you have and carry the sword.

And the sword is his word, my beloved. Not a sword that chops heads. A sword that is the word that came to heal the wound afflicted upon you by Satan.

To heal the wound. The sword that will set you free. The sword that will heal you.

The sword that will save you, deliver you. The sword that will give you your dignity, your identity back once again. And make you the child of God.

And God becomes your Heavenly Father. Daddy. Daddy.

Have you ever slept in need of anything? No. For three and a half years, Simon, who was a fisherman, and so many of them were fishermen. They gave up on their jobs.

They did not get no one cent from Centrelink. And if you're in America, no social security. They were not paid by nobody.

They did not work for three and a half years. But not one day they slept in need of anything. My goodness, when you allow the Lord to be your shepherd.

Let me assure you, this is the truth. The whole truth and nothing but the truth. You better believe in it.

You better trust in it. When you let Jesus Christ to navigate your life. When you let Jesus Christ of Nazareth shepherd your life.

Rest assured. And when you allow Him. And when you accept Him as your Lord Yahweh.

The provider of everything you need and you lack. Rest assured. You will never ever go to sleep lacking, needing anything.

Because Christ the King is the Lord Yahweh. Who is your shepherd. You better believe in this.

You better believe in this my beloved. Well, this is why the Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want.

Now I say about myself. Back in 2014. I was thrown in the street.

Literally. With absolutely nothing. And I loved it.

Because the Lord is my shepherd. And we are now in 2025. Just over 10 years.

In the making. From the street. To the church.

To the flock. To reaching the whole world. Look.

All glory to the Lord Jesus. That's why I mentioned it. Otherwise I wouldn't have.

I'm nothing but a useless. Hopeless. Servant of His.

And I always say Lord. If you ever give me a position. To work for you.

Make me your donkey. The ultimate position. You know the donkey was the smartest of all.

He knew how to carry the King of Kings. Where everybody else failed. So make me that donkey Lord.

To carry you. Wherever you wish. To direct this donkey.

To reach the world. For you came to save the entire world. From Satan.

From death. From sin. From condemnation.

And if you ask me. Bishop. Was it ever.

In those. Let's say 10-11 years. When you were thrown in the street with nothing.

Not even a piece of tissue. At least I have one now. Not even a piece of tissue in my pocket.

If you ask me for those 11 years. Did you ever sleep in need of anything? I'll say to you with confidence. No.

Never. Did you work? No. Did you get Centrelink payment? No.

And you can go and ask Centrelink. I was not paid a penny by them. Not a penny.

I never received a penny. I've been almost 40 years. In this blessed country of Australia.

This is my country and I love it. And I always pray for my country. But I'm proud to be an Assyrian from Iraq.

But this is my country as well. That's my heritage. But this is my second home.

And it's always home for me. I've never received one cent from Centrelink or Social Security back then. The 40 years of my life here.

Till this moment. I've never slept in need of anything. Pope Cyril VI.

This saint said so many beautiful things. But one of them really sticks to mind. He says.

I'll say it in Arabic because he said it in Arabic. So I'll say it in Arabic and I'll try to translate it into English. This is formal Arabic.

If you want it in Lebanese accent. I'm trying. If you want it in Iraqi accent.

What he says. What this mighty saint says. He will never leave you half way through.

So who begins the road with you? Not you. God. And who is this God? The Lord.

Who is Yahweh. Who is my shepherd. The one who began the road.

Do you think he's going to leave you half way? Impossible. You know why? Because the Lord Jesus is known to finish what he starts. He is known to finish what he starts.

So the one. Meaning Jesus Christ of Nazareth. The one who began the road with you.

Do you think he's going to leave you half way? And say. Sorry. I don't want to continue with you anymore.

Impossible. Impossible. But it takes faith.

To move that mountain. And it takes faith. For the Lord to do the impossible in you.

And through you and by you. It takes faith. And with faith, trust.

You want to build up your trust? Just look back to your past. How many times have you gone through trouble sometimes? How many times have you failed miserably? How many times have you gone through dark tunnels? What happened? You probably said back then. It's too late.

I can't do it. I believe it's the end of my journey. That's it.

I'm finished. I'm dead. You're still alive and intact.

What happened? It wasn't you that delivered you from that terrible moment in that past. It was God. And if that God that saved you yesterday.

Do you think he's not going to save you today? Nor going to save you tomorrow? He will. Because God. The Holy Bible says.

Yesterday he is. Today he is. And forever to come he is.

Meaning. He is the never changing God. We change.

He never changes. So if he saved you yesterday. Since he never changes he will save you today.

Since he never changes he will save you tomorrow. What are you worried about? Let the Lord be your shepherd. You will not want anything anymore.

Just trust in the Lord. Have faith in the Lord. Have faith.

Amen.
