How to Walk the Gospel Out #6
Milton Green

Milton Green (1943 - 1987). American evangelist and Bible teacher born in Tennessee. Raised in a troubled home with an abusive father, he spiraled into alcoholism, drug addiction, and homelessness, suffering a major heart attack at 43 that left doctors predicting his death. Converted in 1972 after crying out to Jesus, he was miraculously healed and began studying Scripture intensely. A carpet cleaner by trade, Green preached across the U.S. from the late 1970s to 1987, often alongside James Robison and Leonard Ravenhill, focusing on repentance, holiness, and spiritual warfare. He authored The Great Falling Away Today (1986), warning against carnal Christianity, and recorded hundreds of sermons, widely shared online. Married to Joyce, a Christian who prayed for his salvation, they had no children. His teachings, emphasizing victory over sin through Christ, stirred thousands at seminars, though some criticized his focus on demonic influence. Green’s words, “God’s Word is the only standard for truth,” underscored his uncompromising style. His ministry, marked by humility, continues to influence evangelical circles globally

Sermon Transcription
Excited, aren't they? I'm sorry I got in your way there, honey. I'm excited. Well, I tell you what, I'm really enjoying being here. Aren't you? Hasn't this really been a blessing? Praise God forevermore. Everybody's still skipping like a cave, aren't they? Praise the Lord. Well, we know now if you love the Lord with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself, we become, let's just agree with me, I'm the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. God is my heavenly Father. Jesus Christ is my Lord and I'm a product of his love. I have love. I have joy, peace, long-suffering, goodness, gentleness, meekness, temperance, faith. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I'm strengthened in all power by the Word of God. I'm born again. I'm kept by the power of God. I'm redeemed by the blood. I'm born again by the Word of God. I'm complete in Jesus. My sins are nailed on the cross. I'm sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. I'm seated in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Praise God. My weapons and mighty are God. Turn down strongholds, casting down imaginations, and every thought that exalts itself against the Word of God. And I bring every thought captive to the obedience of the Lord Jesus Christ. Glory be to God forevermore. Praise God. And now from the throne of grace, I receive grace, the Word, and the blood. I renounce all the works of heaviness, tiredness, fatigue, exhaustion, weariness, sleepiness, confusion, mind-binding, mind-wandering, all oppression, all the works of destruction, pain, ache, tension, all the works of darkness. I bless my enemies. I break every word, curse, and spell. And now in the name of Jesus, I release all words, all the works of darkness. I'm free. My sins are nailed on the cross. I'm sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. I'm seated in the heavenly places. Praise God. Father, in the name of Jesus, we just want to bless you for your holy presence here. We thank that you put a new song in our mouth. And Lord, we just want to praise you and bless you. And Lord, we just come to glorify Jesus. We come to receive your Word, that your Word perform its work in us in the name of Jesus. And Lord, we just ask a special enlightening and anointing on your work. We just pray that your Spirit will just reign upon us, Lord, as we turn to you with a whole heart, as we praise you, Lord, and we just bless you in everything we say and do. Now, Lord, in Jesus' name, all the works of darkness are removed here from the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. All religious deception is bound. Every stronghold is bound. And now in the name of Jesus, Lord, we speak your blessing, peace, grace, love, healing, and deliverance over this meeting in Jesus' name. Glory be to God. Now hug three people around the neck again before you sit down. All right. Don't let me distract you. Okay. All right. You have a separate room? Okay. Folks, uh, to end the meeting tonight, we've had some pretty good nights this week, haven't we? Have you wished someone had been here at different times, we had to hear different things that went on, isn't that right? That's the reason we got it on tape, so there's a 10-tape series. We're getting $3 a piece, so it's $30, so you can pick these up at the end of the meeting here tonight. Through tonight, all the tapes through tonight will be in this, and it's called, uh, well, that's an album here we have here tonight. And, uh, well, I've especially enjoyed, you know, just really being here, and how many of you have not registered out front out there? Hold up your hand right here. Is any of you... There's many of you, hey, I wish you'd register. I'll tell you why. We want to send you a schedule, and we have some Bible suits and things. We don't want your name just to pump you and manipulate you for money or whatever like that. But would you make yourself some kind of note right there? Some way to remind yourself that you're going out there, you'll get registered. Would you do that, please? And we would just like to keep up with you. When we're having another meeting around here in Fort Worth, whenever, we can just let you know what the schedule and everything is. We don't want you to miss nothing. Right? And, uh, all the other tapes and the video, we just want you to help us spread them, if you will. And next, uh, within probably three weeks now, we have this book coming out. It's going to be $6.95. It's published by Huntington House. We get right to the point. It's called, The Great Falling Away Today. And then, if anyone wants to say, well, this is legalism over here, this is, uh, putting on the law over here. Well, if he doesn't understand grace, then anyone can take his book. It's close to 2,000 scriptures in here that show, scripture by scripture, the great falling away today. And the deception that's come. It's called, The Form of God. It's on how the powers of darkness are operating and destroying people. And, uh, many of the things, a lot more that we haven't covered this week. And someone could, that'll never attend meetings and so forth like that. I'll get these books and, uh, and I'll tell you what I had in mind to get a message out. And the publisher wants to sell books, so we was able to kind of work together on this. And, uh, so I want you to, I want you to keep this in mind. That this, this kind of book's not going to build no one's reputation. Okay? And, uh, or build anybody a menace or anything. But I'll tell you what, folks. Someone, and there's some friends here that's already read the manuscript of this thing. And it is something that'll change people's life because the word is in it. Not any good stories. I don't have any axes to grind in that thing. All we do is just go from scripture to scripture to scripture to over 200 pages of it. Okay? And so that'll be out in about three weeks. And it's called, The Great Falling Away Today. Okay? You believe it's been a great falling away today? And the last chapter ends with how, and we're not really getting into this in this meeting right here. But, uh, the building of the temple today. And folks, this is what's going on here right now. I mean, God's putting it in the hearts of some to build the temple today. We're building a foundation right now. And we're going to build a wall around it. And that's a wall, that's a hedge. And in that camp, it's going to be holy. Amen? Amen. And then I want to tell you something else. In the midst of this, folks, I want you to be aware of this. We're facing a destruction like it's never been on this earth before. As just like it was in the days of Noah, only this will be worse. In the days of Noah, they didn't go to get in the ark. When the warning and the trumpet was blowing, today, they're not getting in the ark. And that's why the messages, like on these tapes, this is the purpose of this meeting here, folks. I want to tell you in Jesus' name that we're not building one thing except the body of Christ. I'm going to tell you what's got each one of us that's walking together here is seeing the excitement and electricity in your lives to be excited about the word of God. Boy, and I want to ask you something. Hadn't that praise been a blessing this week, folks? Praise God forevermore. I only stop. I just want to tell you before, I haven't been anywhere that's been treated any nicer. Nowhere have I ever been that I've been treated any nicer here. I just want to thank you. I'm just so grateful to you. I go to so many places, never know which day I'm going to have to leave sometimes. And it's good to go somewhere and just relax. Amen? Praise the Lord. See, folks, I want to tell you something. When you start dealing with some of these areas that, in a word, there's a lot of stories that can get out on you. I mean, I'm going to tell you, this really puts you through something. I got in the flesh and stayed in the flesh for a good while. That's where I learned right last night. I got in there a little bit last night, and you saw me repenting in there. That doesn't get her done. I'll tell you that for sure. That'll just mess you up. And I tried to hit back these things, and then I've just had people that I don't even know that I know could help me, and they've heard stories and things like that. And God, I have to recognize the fact God has permitted this to happen. And so I have released that burden and responsibility that I have to prove. I'm just going to share the word, and if it's any vindication, it's going to come from the Lord, and I'm feeling vindicated a little bit since I've been here. And so this is the way we're going to have to operate, because the body of Christ doesn't look like winners to a form of godliness or to the world. They really don't. It's because we don't operate in our own strength, but we operate in the strength of the Lord. Isn't that right, brother? Praise God. So this is the rest that we enter into, and that no one can make a message like this work we've been sharing this week except God. And the only ones that can hear it is the one that the Lord has in their hearts. Now, I'm going to tell you something. If you have a divided heart, you're going to be offended. You understand what I mean? The thing about it is, I'm going to tell you, I'm a teachable person. I'm teachable. I don't have anything but Jesus. Everything else has been stripped away from me. It's all I've got. I don't have any big organization. I don't have any big men. I don't have any big bucks. I don't have anything but Jesus. I don't have anybody to go brag on me. I don't have anybody to go before me except the Lord. And, you know, what I'm doing right here, I'm saying these things not to boast myself but to encourage you. I'm going to tell you, I've learned something, boy, and it's good. I wouldn't swap places with nobody in the world. And you shouldn't want to swap places with nobody in the world because whatever the Lord has put in your heart, it's the thing that's going to please God the most in your life. So it doesn't matter what people are saying. Bless their hearts. You know, we're in a time right now, and we've been in the front end of some things for a few years, and I'm going to tell you there's a new wave moving out right now. There's a new wave. And any time, any truth, I'm going to tell you, a lot of folks when they first start hearing some things about the Spirit of God, they're still upset about it. Can you believe that? And so that's, as long as your heart is tied to other things, you can't be led into all truths in the Word of God. And so we're going to pray for people. We're going to let our light shine because I believe in that. As we are purified, sanctified, and walking holy and righteous, we'll be able to reach out to people and take our Bible. If we know anything and we're walking in it, the Spirit of God is not going to lead us anywhere. It's not in this Bible right here. Amen? And it's going to be in context, and it's going to be in balance, and every one of us are teachers. Amen? Boy, if anointing's in you, the Spirit of God, you're a teacher. You will share it. That's the way the Word spreads. Amen? Okay. Now, turn to Matthew 7. I'm telling you I love you, and I'll tell you what, I haven't been anywhere I felt more loved. I'm here, and I want you to know it's got all over me, and it's helped me. That's what we say back in Benton. We say this back in Cleveland, Tennessee. It helped me, and it's been helping me. Amen? I've been needing that for about two or three years. Okay. Now, I'm going to read to you a verse, which I'm not going to tell you where it is because I don't want you to turn to it. But in your Bible, it says, and we've already read it, that I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. Now, here's what Paul is saying. And just as you presented your members... Turn on the flesh again, Brother Walter. There he is. Walter and I are still flowing together, aren't we? I'll tell you what. That's the sweetest man to ever live. I'll tell you, that's my brother down there. All right. Now, for justice, you presented your members as slaves to impurity. We presented the members of our body, we presented it, our members, we used to be vessels of death. We put hatred, stealing, anger, worry. This is all the nature of Satan. This is what we did. This is what we repented of, by the way, when we came to Christ. And just as we presented the members as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness, all of these things, mindset on the flesh, if your mindset on the flesh, this is the kind of things, this is the kind of fruits that are going to come out of your mouth, from your heart right here. The mindset on the flesh is hustle toward God. These things come out of your mouth, you're hustled toward God, and you do not subject yourself to the law of God. The flesh nature, selfish nature of Satan doesn't subject itself to the law of God. But that's what, before we come to make Jesus Christ Lord, we gave ourselves over to our members of our body, over to impurity, and impurity, of course, is lawlessness and breaking God's law. What did Jesus come? Lead us with the Spirit of God to put to death these sins of the flesh which break God's law in order that we fulfill God's law. Amen? Then we have a pure heart, and then we love our neighbor as Jesus has loved us. But we have to lay down our selfish ambition in life, and there it is right there. Amen? Now, if anybody rejects that, they're rejecting love, because the God kind of love cannot be perfected in anyone when they walk in double-minded. Amen? This is going to result in further laws, so now we present our members as slaves to righteousness. We're led to the Spirit of God. Galatians 5, 16 says, Walk by the Spirit and you will not, will not, carry out the desires of the flesh. You'll not carry out the desires of the flesh because if the sons of God are led to the Spirit of God, Romans 8, 14, and if you're led by the Spirit of God, Romans 8, 13, you will, the Spirit of God leads you to put to death the deeds of the flesh. And we've already looked at how you put the deeds of the flesh, is when the pressure comes against you, persecution comes against you, affliction comes against you, and everything, you don't hit back. You instead of hitting back with anger, unforgiveness, resentment, and all of these other things up here, you stand right in it and say, God, I'm wanting to look good to you more than I'm wanting to look good to people. I don't want to prove that I don't look good to you. I don't want to be like you. I don't want to be like the devil, so I'm not going to hit back with anger, unforgiveness, resentment, anything. Are you seeing that? So then when you choose that, you're going to suffer in the flesh, but anger is going to get weaker and soon release. All pride is going to release. When you've got a reputation, you've got to prove it to somebody, or you'll see the only reputation you're building is the nature of Jesus in your life. Amen? Glory be to God in that exciting, folks. And so the Spirit of God will let all of these things come against you until you suffer it. You're going to suffer in the flesh because you won't hit back, but you're going to cease from sin, and all of these things are going to die. You're going to have a pure heart, and then you're going to fulfill the law by loving the Lord. First, you love the Lord with all your heart. The Word of God washes your heart from all of these things, and then you love your neighbor as yourself. And when you love your neighbor as yourself, you've got the divine nature, the love that's a God kind of love perfected in you. Amen? Now, if you've got a form of godliness, it'll never happen. If your heart is tied to any traditions or carnal doctrines that does not conform you to godliness, if they don't agree with the sound words of Jesus, they're without understanding, deprive the truth, and have a morbid interest in controversial questions. Controversial questions always attack the gospel, and we've already gone through that. Now, so we become slaves of righteousness, and the result is sanctification. What is sanctification? To have a pure heart. Amen? Praise God. Hebrews 12, 14 says, Without this sanctification, you shall not see the Lord. Matthew 5 said, Blessed are the pure of heart, because they'll see the Lord. The pure of heart and sanctification is the same thing, your worship of the Word of God. Amen? Is that what we saw in Ephesians 5? We're talking about the church. Verse 27 is going to be presented, Holy, blameless, without spot or wrinkle. And verse 26 said, Because they're going to be washed, Jesus is going to sanctify them by the washing of the Word. How can you be sanctified by the washing of the Word? Once again, the only way you can be sanctified by the Word of God is love the Lord with all your heart. If you don't first love the Lord with all your heart, then you won't give up pride, because you love pride more than you do the Word of God, more than you do Jesus. You'll love greed more than you do Jesus. You'll love these other things more than you do Jesus. Then the Word can't wash you. But when you love the Lord with all your heart, you go to the Word of God, and everything the Word of God and the Spirit of God shows you in your heart, you'll repent, you'll repent, you'll repent, because all your motive, your root is Jesus. Your root is not the flesh nature. It's not greed. It's not approval of man. It's not pride. The root is Jesus. Root is your motive, and so all your motive is to please the Lord. So you let Him go. You let Him go. Let Him go. Your whole life is to please God. Now, anyone that would reject that, I don't tell you that's the gospel. I don't want to tell you something. Either you walk, either the commandments of God say, you'll leave the love of the Lord with all your heart, or you'll enable yourself, or He'll not put a hedge around you. You'll be in the process of being led by the Spirit of God, or He'll not put a hedge around you, and the powers of darkness will destroy you. That's the reason today that many of all of us to some degree have found ourselves wrapped up in traditions, blinded by them, blinded by it's been handed down by our ancestors, did not expose, oppose, or even understand the powers of darkness. Now we've come to deal with them, and we'll leave that part of the Bible alone because it doesn't fit into, here it comes, our rules and doctrines. There are over 400 teachings and doctrines in this country alone. I want to remind you again, somebody's wrong. Of course it wouldn't be you. None of you wrong, of course, but the church of Jesus Christ is one heart and one mind, in the book of Acts, and the reason they're one heart and one mind because they knew coming in they had to die to all selfishness. See the fruit right here is the evidence, the fruit here is the evidence of selfishness. When you live for yourself, you don't love your neighbor, you hate your neighbor. You exploit him, you use him, and that's the way of the world, and that's the world in the church, and that's the falling away today. We begin calling something church, it's not church. We begin calling something Christians, it's not Christians. And then we have other things to judge people by, instead of by their fruit. We don't look to fruit. When you have a form of godliness, when you're walking double-minded, when you're walking with two natures, you don't deal with that part of the scripture. You can't deal with the flesh, you can't deal with the powers of darkness, you can't deal with holiness, you can't deal with righteousness. Remember, these kind of things, you say, the cover's holy, and that little thing that hangs down in there, you know it's holy. That's as close as you can get to it, right? You can remember this. There's no discernment, there's nothing to discern when you explain everything away. All right, now, in Matthew 7, I want to just start where we left off there. I want you to know in verse 13, it says, "...Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide, and the way is broad, that leads to destruction." And we've already seen this week how the powers of darkness are operating and destroying people sitting in the church, front row, back row, and whatever. Amen? And we've also seen why a form of godliness said, Jesus became a curse for us at Calvary. Christians came out demons. These are controversial questions. Then you don't come to examine the truth. What does God call a Christian here? What church did he say was no longer under the curse of the law? What people is no longer under the judgment of the law? See, people are blocked by controversial questions about themselves. They'll never examine what God is showing us here today. God is showing us a lot of things. So it's a sleeping church. And a sleeping church is smarter than God. They won't come and examine something in the Word of God. They'd rather attack somebody with controversial questions. And that's what a form of godliness is. I'll say it again. If anyone has a doctrine, it does not conform you to goddess. They, without understanding, deprive the truth. And they have a morbid interest in controversial questions, disputes about words, out of which arrive envy and strife, abusive language. And the pastors and the leaders of this flock, pastors, their families, their children, are being tore all to pieces, and it's getting worse. And they can't find any answers. They're trying to minister the Word of God right there to a bunch of fleshly people that's biting on them and devouring them and cursing them. I speak peace to you while you set an ambush for it. And so God has given us answers today, and people are being blocked because their hearts are captured by their doctrines. And I'm going to tell you what he is of God who can hear the words of God. For this reason, you can't hear the Word of God because you're not of God. I'm going to tell you that's just exactly how it is. When you want the approval of men or some doctrines or traditions and everything, then if this has your heart, then you cannot be led into all truth above you, just exactly where the Pharisees are. Each doctrine is going to say, do this, do this, do this, and you go to heaven. Do this, do this, do this, and you go to heaven. You've got 400 of them in this country. Over. There's only one righteousness, one Jesus, one church. That's all. And they love one another, and they do because... It's good to go over this because when you don't have a form of godliness, when you're being perfected in love and putting this to death, the result of it is love. If you're not putting it to death, you're being destroyed. That's how the church is. It's a dwelling place of demons. They can have 14 deliverance ministries going full-time. And I'm telling you, they work day and night, and they can cast them out. They get around to the corner out there, they're right back because the flesh hasn't changed. The heart still is attached to the stronghold. If you love greed, you're going to have them living with you, demons of greed. If you're going to love pride, you're going to have a stronghold of pride. You've got a plain... It's the last part of the week, you've got a demon of pride. He's living with you. It's not on your shoulder either. Don't start none of that stuff in protector theology anymore. It's in you. Just like Ephesians 2, verse 3 says. And you know what they are? They're building strongholds. They become... Greed is root. Pride is root. And then other things come off of those things. Put the pride up there, brother. And they build up... See the root pride right here? It used to be down here. But see, when there's pride, you're making a name for yourself. You've got selfish ambition. You're self-righteous. You want to control others. You're self-glorious. All these things work off of pride. And I'm going to tell you what diseases work off of these things. The approval of man is root. And diseases begin working off of these things too. And this is what destroys people. And I wish we'd had a little more time. I'd like to have gone into the curses, the blessings and curses and so forth and showed you how diseases... Diseases get in our bodies. All right? Now, it's a broad road to destruction. Do you believe that? I can't hear you. All right. Verse 14, For the gate is small, and the way is narrow that leads to life or eternal life. How many believe it's a narrow and a small way to eternal life? I want to ask you again, did it get more narrow this week? See, the form of God has made it wide so devils, tyrants, wolves and everything else can get through it. All you have to do is just join. All right, here we go. First verse 15, Beware of false preachers, false prophets who's going to come to you in sheep's clothing, going to be like a Christian. But inwardly, that's in their heart. They are what? They're not a sheep. They're a wolf. You know why? If you've got pride right there, you're going to take the Word of God. You're going to take the people of God and the things of God to fulfill selfish ambition, making a name for yourself to fulfill selfishness and things like that because your pride wants the approval of men, not the approval of God. Pride will never pay you all the Word of God because pride is going to be king and lord over God's heritage. He always picks the things out of the Bible that will please your flesh. Are you hearing me? You don't want me to say these things over and over, aren't you? I don't want you to forget it. Well, I've already explained all that. Let's continue. You're going to know them by their what? The only way you can know a wolf is what comes out of his heart. Amen? You hear what's in his heart, it's going to come out of his mouth. Can you hear pride? Can you hear greed? Can you hear selfishness? Can you hear control? Even so, every good tree, that's you and I, is going to bear good fruit, but the bad tree is going to bear bad fruit. A good tree, a tree of Jesus Christ, cannot produce bad fruit, the fruit of the flesh. Hey, if he's led by the Spirit of God, no kind of bad tree, the one that loves flesh, produces the God kind of love, the good fruit. Amen? Now, every tree that does not bear good fruit bears the fruit of flesh, which is the opposite of love, and then the hedge comes down, God's that doesn't protect him. This is why when you sin, you know the hedge, put the man back up there, would you? Please, Walter. This is when this fruit comes out of your mouth right there, you don't have peace, because you break God's law, and you break God's law, the hedge comes down, and the powers of darkness are attacking you. It's only when you repent that peace returns. If you don't repent, the powers of darkness will keep putting shames on you until they've destroyed you. Now, every tree that does not bear good fruit, the fruit of love, it's cut down. The tree cutters are the powers of darkness, and they're thrown into the fire. We've already seen that. That's a fiery test we go through. If you come, you're saved as through fire, you'll either come through the fire, and you'll have divine nature, which is gold, you'll be the gold, or else you're going to be burned up in the fire, because you won't be obedient, or you'll have a form of godliness, or whatever, right? You'll be destroyed. Now, so then you're going to know them by their fruits. Verse 21, Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, is going to enter the kingdom of heaven. Which tree do you think is not going to enter the kingdom of heaven? The good tree or the bad tree? The bad tree is not going to enter. You're talking about two trees right here in this verse right here. The bad tree is not going to enter the kingdom of heaven because he's not perfected in love, because he continues to bear the fruit of the flesh. He's got a form of godliness. And we've seen clearly this week that you will overcome, or you'll be destroyed. Now, we've not seen it by my stories. We've seen it in the word of God. Is that correct? Amen. All right, now. Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, is going to enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. What's the will of the Father in heaven? We saw it in 1 Thessalonians 4, verse 3, that the will of God is sanctification, that you possess your vessel, not in impurity, but in purity, which is sanctification. And he who rejects this is not rejecting man, but he's rejecting God who gives his spirit. Isn't that right? So you're going to have a pure heart. You're no longer... So that's what sanctification is. It's a process of putting to death the deeds of the flesh and being worshiped by the word of God. Right? So now, many are going to say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, we prophesied in your name. In your name we cast out demons, Lord. In your name we performed many miracles. Did them all in the name of Jesus. And people who believed, who do prophecy, who cast out demons, who do miracles today, do you think any of that could be done through spiritism? Do you know anything about spiritism? See, I don't want to put a question mark over everything God does. Because, see, we've been programmed to fear everything the spirit does many, many times. And a lot of people have overcome that. But in a congregation like this, there's some that totally have been programmed to fear. Now I tell you when you fear is when the Lord doesn't have all your heart because you don't have discernment. But, let's just see this man here is casting out demons. He was doing miracles. He was prophesying. When he did these things, who got the glory? Him or Jesus? That's a good question. Where did everything he did point to? The Lord or his ministry? I can't hear you. Well, let me tell you what the Lord said about this fellow right here. Next verse. And then I'm going to declare to them, I never knew you. Jesus said, depart from me, you who practice what? And we saw that practicing lawlessness in 1 John 3, 4 is sin is lawlessness and no one born of God is going to sin. And the children of God and the children of the devil is going to be obvious. In other words, if we sin, we're going to come repent and put it on the blood because we have a walk of peace. We'll walk in peace all the time, right? All right, now. If a person is not overcoming, if he's not teaching holiness, if he's not teaching righteousness, where is he? Huh? I didn't plan on going there. Hold your place. Come over here to 2 Thessalonians. 2 Thessalonians 2. I want you to see something with me. Do you know what the ministry through Brother Bob here is supposed to do? It glorifies Jesus and drives you to the Word. Do you know what the ministry is supposed to mean, supposed to do? It drives you to Jesus and drives you to the Word of God. Do I need you to follow me? Absolutely. I need you to walk with me. I don't need you to follow me no more than you see me follow Jesus. I'm not your source. Amen? Jesus is your source through me. You only receive from me what you hear from Jesus. Is that right? Is Jesus your teacher? After you're fully trained, you're going to be like your teacher. So if you follow the man who's got spiritual pride, what do you think you're going to wind up with? If he's got pride, what do you think you're going to wind up with? If he loves greed, what do you think you're going to wind up with? If he's in rebellion in the power of the Word of God, what do you think you're going to wind up with? Who's your source? There you go. Every man of God wants that. It's only those with selfish ambition that are threatened by that. Let me say it again. It's only those who love selfish ambition and buildings of selfish ambition who are threatened by that statement. Are you hearing me? Okay. Now, we're talking about the day of the Lord. Do you know what the day of the Lord is? The day of the Lord is a day of glory, but it's also a day of judgment. Can I tell you just much judgment? The day of the Lord, I believe, is on us right now. Let me tell you why it's on us right now. Look at me. Look at it right there in verse 3. Let no one in any way deceive you, for it, the day of the Lord, will not come. Well, that better go to verse 2 so you see what I'm talking about. Verse 1. Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, that's the coming of Jesus, that you may not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by spirit or message or letter as from us to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Now we're talking about the day of the Lord. Now, if you read over in Amos there, you know Amos over there said, what's the day of the Lord going to be if you are looking for the day of the Lord? He said, you sell the righteous for money and the needy for a pair of shoes, Mr. Pride and Selfishness. You sell them for a pair of shoes. And, he said, you're going to lean against a wall I wish I hadn't brought it up now, but I better go see. It's good. Alright, now, just a second. In Amos, alright, Amos 5 verse 18, Alas, you who are longing for the day of the Lord, for what purpose would the day of the Lord be? It's going to be darkness instead of light. And a man's going to flee from a lion and a bear's going to meet him. He's going to lean his hand against the wall and then a snake's going to bite him. Well, not the day of the Lord. It's going to be darkness. It's going to be spiritual darkness instead of light. Even gloom with no brightness in it. And that's the way it's going to be for the people that can't wake up. And that's what we're in right now. Because, look there in a second, we're back to 2 Thessalonians 2. Now, we covered that real good in that book. The day of the Lord. Now, verse 3, Let no one in any way deceive you, for it, the day of the Lord, will not come until the apostasy, that's the fallen away, comes. And the man of lawlessness has revealed the son of destruction. Now, how many knows, have we seen enough this week to know there's already been a fallen away and apostasy has taken place and been here for some time, right? Now, how many knows that I told you we were waking up from a nightmare? We're waking up from a nightmare because some man hadn't come along with any new story. We're waking up from a nightmare because what we're seeing in context and the balance of the word of God just over and over and over because God's opening a rise, right? Because our heart's not tied to carnal traditions or any particular doctrines, our heart's tied to Jesus, right? It hadn't got a heart. If Jesus is going to have your heart, you can't be led into all truth. So that's a wise version that's going to come to light. Foolish version can't hear nothing but peace and safety. They get offended. All right, now. So the apostasy comes first. And then the man of lawlessness thus revealed the son of destruction. Who do you think the son of destruction is that enters into the temple? Who do you think? Hey, folks. Is this lawlessness up here? Huh? Who do you think promotes lawlessness? The powers that be promotes lawlessness? Is that right? Or who do you think the son of destruction is? Are they the one that the powers of darkness bring abomination? Do they bring desolation? No fruit? Do they, I mean, they just strip you and dry you up and destroy you, right? Do they enter the temple? I can't hear you. While somebody's watching for something, a physical temple to be built over in Israel, they're not seeing that abomination of desolation, the son of destruction, the sons of the devil have already entered into the temples. Babylon is a dwelling place of demons. Amen? All right, now. All right, what do you think the powers of darkness do? Don't they come in to be God? I can't, I can't, don't they want to, doesn't pride want to be, rule your life? They want to be God instead of getting to God and greed? Isn't that right? They want to rule your life? Sure they do. You never get to God. All right, now. They're going to pose, verse 4, and exalt themselves above every so-called God or subject to worship so that they're going to take their seat in the temple of God, displaying themselves as being God. That's exactly what's going on. Now we get over Matthew 24 directly and we tie some of this together. They're there. How many knows they're there? We're there while we have our controversial questions that Christians can't have devils, he believes in sinless perfection, we're no longer on the curse, and the law's been lost. That Jesus came to fulfill this loss. All right, now, let's just continue right there. So, verse 9, that is, who's coming is going to be in accord with the activity of Satan. You don't want a sign on one wrist. You know, what do you think happens when somebody gets healed? The powers of darkness are cast out and it brought the sickness. Are you understanding that? I can't hear you. How many know the powers of darkness bring pain? How many know they bring destruction and infirmity to your body? You think it wouldn't cooperate to make a man look good? Huh? That is, who's coming is going to be in accord with the activity of Satan with all power and signs and what kind of wonders? All those false wonders are going to happen way on over there. It's always way over there. It's nothing like it's happening now when people are asleep. Let's see there. And it goes on and it's going to come with all deception and wickedness for those who what? You know why they're going to perish? They don't love the Word of God and being perfected in love. They love signs and wonders. They love to follow Jesus and get the bread and the fishes. And when Jesus speaks the Word of God the multitudes can't even hear it. They can't even hear it. Only the disciples can hear the Word of God. That's the one who's got their hearts. And because why? They did not receive the love of the truth so as to be what? How are you born again? The Word of God. See I can get off into I can just you believe you can make an idol out of healing? You believe you can make an idol out of a preacher? Do you believe you can make an idol out of somebody's ministry? You can make an idol out of signs and wonders? You can make an idol out of this building right here? We can come down and bow down to a wooden stone? You can make idols out of your family? You can make them out of a courthouse down there? You can make it out all kind of things. You understand? Signs and wonders is one of them. How many of you know that some people have made them out of signs and wonders? Alright. But they didn't receive the love of the truth so as to be saved and for this reason God sinned and up on them. What kind of influence? How many of you have any idea what this deluding influence might be? Can I tell you what it is? It's religious demons. That's what the activity of Satan is there. They're going to send a deluding influence so they're going to believe what? They're going to believe what is false. In order that all may be what? They're going to be judged who did not believe the truth but they took pleasure in what? Wickedness. See, you can make an idol out of something. See, look at me folks. If you don't have a love of the truth you cannot be perfected in love. And see, if the powers of darkness can't prevent something they pervert it. So they come to get your heart on anything else your ministry or anything else. Do you know that what I'm doing I can make an idol out of it? Instead of a love of the truth? And then see, when your heart departs from Jesus and you make an idol out of anything you open yourself up for the powers of darkness to move in on you. And that's, see, you can't be perfected in love. The only thing, everything, is second to Jesus. Amen? He has all your heart. Amen? So that's what the love of the truth is. You don't love the truth when you have an idol in your heart of any kind. Right? Right? Okay, now. But we should always give thanks to God for you brethren, beloved, by the Lord because God has chosen you from the beginning for sanctification, for salvation rather. How's that salvation going to come? I can't hear you. One more time. Salvation's going to come through the brethren. How? Through sanctification. How are you going to be sanctified if you don't love the truth? Then how can you have sanctification without, how can you have salvation without sanctification? Tell me. Unless you change your word. Tell me. It's sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the Word of God. That's the truth. And for this, he called you through the gospel that you may what? This is how you gain the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. Well, I got off again tonight. I wish, I'm going to stay with this one of these days. But now, he's going to practice law. He says, let me just show you something about this practice. You're still holding to Matthew 7? Okay. I want you to turn to me to 2 Corinthians 6. Now see, if you do all kinds of works for God and you're practicing laws, what's it going to get you? Huh? Is that right? Huh? You're going to practice laws? Well, let me ask you something. If I'm purifying my heart, how can I walk with Walter here if he's going to practice sin? Tell me, how can I join my heart when we walk in agreement? Tell me. But what if he's a good old boy? What if he's a nice fella? What if he's my first cousin? What if he's got a lot of money? 2 Corinthians 6, verse 14. Do not be bound together with unbelievers. What is an unbeliever? For what partnership have righteousness and what? I can't hear you. How can people who are going to write watchers and be in perfected love walk with those who practice sin? Who are not making an effort to overcome it and purify it and sanctify it? Tell me. Let me read it again. Do not be bound together with unbelievers. For what partnership have righteousness, circle righteousness with lawlessness? Righteousness, Romans 6 answers all this. Or what fellowship has light with darkness? How can you walk in the light and take somebody by the hand and walk in darkness? Now, we saw that double minus over James 3 and 4. It's called adulterous. Now, verse 17. Therefore, come out from their midst and be what? Separate, said the Lord. And you're not going to touch what is unclean. Is that what Ephesians 5 said? Don't be partakers with them? I can't hear you. And then I'm going to welcome you and then I'm going to be a father to you and then you're going to be sons and daughters to me, said the Lord Almighty. Is that plain? Chapter 7, verse 1. Therefore, having these promises, let it, what does it say? What's the next thing you do? You're going to what? You're going to cleanse yourself from all the defilement of the flesh and the spirit and then you're going to be perfect in holiness which is the nature of God and you're walking in the fear of God. You have to learn the fear of God. How many of you have been learning the fear of God this week? How many of my people are destroyed but they don't even understand the fear of God for lack of knowledge and the fear of God is the beginning of knowledge. God's teaching us the fear of God. When you fear God, you don't fear nothing else. You understand that? You don't fear man. Amen? All right, now. Is that plain? Remember the scissors up here. If we see something you don't like, just come up here and get them. We put them right here. Go up and start your Go up and start your doctrine and start your teaching. Maybe you get to be king or something. Get your headquarters. Now, come back to Matthew 7. Oh, while we're at it, I don't want to miss nothing. Let's just turn over to Revelation 12. I want to tell you something. Is this serious? Is this serious? All right. Have I been saying what's in the Word of God all week? Can a headquarters be an idol? Can your wife be an idol? Can your husband be an idol? Can your children be an idol? Can stone and wood be an idol? Can folks be an idol? Can theology be an idol? Signs and wonders be an idol? If we hit you idle, you can leave. Don't touch somebody's things. No, I didn't mean that. I'm just sorry I said that. Because I'll tell you what. That's what the power of the darkness wants you to do. It wants you to get, I mean, the insides are turning about three flips right in there when you touch the idol. Now, I'll tell you what you do. You stick around me and you bring your Bible down here this week. Anything that you see me, that I haven't talked to in the Word of God, and don't come out here and start speculation. You bring your Bible and come down here and I'll get right on my face right here and I'll repent anything right here that I haven't said by this Bible this week. Okay? And on the other hand, you sit and if you hear something that's caused something to jump in you, that's the way demons do. They'll kick you. They come back and they oppose. Now, see what they oppose the Word of God. You get them through traditions. You get them through these sins and ungodly traditions which we've all been walking in to some degree. And so what we need to do, we're all seeking truth here. I don't have anything but Jesus here. I don't have anything to get you to join except Him and the Word of God. Only everything I've said all week long have points of love. Now, I want you to examine something. If we're reading something in the Word of God and it comes against, it kind of kicks you or something, you look at that and say, well, doggies, why am I getting kicked? Right there it is. You see what I mean? Or else you need to correct me. I need to be exposed. Right? Right? I'm telling you, God's showing some new things. If you're going to be led by your kickings, you'll never well find it out. I've been kicked a few times too. That's the reason I got to know some of the things. Well, now we're talking about Satan. Is this a river of words right here? Alright, everything that God has the real thing does Satan have the counterfeit of it? Amen? Satan has the counterfeit of it, doesn't he? So does Satan have a river? Can I show you what? Here's God's river of this Word of God. When you get to His treasure in your heart, what kind of fruit's going to come out of your mouth? Fruit of love. Alright, here's Satan's treasure. You see it right here? You know how he speaks this? You know how he speaks this to you? To your mind right there. He's all done putting anger, unforgiveness, hate, resentment, condemnation, all these kind of things. He's speaking and he's trying to get them down in your heart against your brother. He's wanting you to hate your brother. That's his river. He has a river come out of his mouth of hate. God has a river of love. You choose which one you want. Is that right? That's it. Alright, now we'll see over in Revelation 12. By the way, that's called blood of words. You know all these things. You ever get your mind just full of that? Just one thing right after another. Alright? In Jesus, the only way you can overcome it. Now, verse 9. Revelation 12, verse 9. And a great dragon, that's him, was thrown down the serpent of old who is called devil and Satan and what does he do? One more time, I want you to mark that. What does he do? He deceives the whole world. Now, I want you to look with me in verse let's see what Satan do it. Look there in verse 17. And the dragon was enraged with a woman. Who's a woman? A church. And he went off to make war with the rest of her offspring who what? I can't hear you. The powers of darkness come against those who are trying to keep the commandments of God. Is that right? Who's keeping the commandments of God? They're trying to purify their hearts and fulfilling the law through Jesus Christ. Isn't that right? Okay. And what else they do? The war comes and they're holding to the testimony of Jesus which is the gospel. Amen? Let's back up there in verse 15. And the serpent poured water like a river out of what? His mouth. Listen. If we always seen over in Do Not Be Deceived beloved brethren in 1st Corinthians James 1 14 through 16 how Satan comes to tempt you the brethren entice them and lead them out of the flesh. Did we see over in 1st Peter 5 8 through 10 also how it comes and brethren you put up a shield of faith that's not talking to the pool room. You put up a shield of faith like Jesus did over in Luke 4 and you resist the devil. Isn't that right? What do you resist? You resist every thought right here that exalts itself against the word of God and these thoughts come right up here and we're told in 2nd Corinthians 10 3 through 5 that we no longer war after the flesh. We no longer hate and anger unforgiveness resentment and all these things. Our war because God said vengeance is His. If anybody comes against you I'll take care of them. We no longer war after the flesh but listen our weapons are mighty and God to tear down strongholds and fortresses fortresses and every we take captive every thought and and uh and we tear down every thought and imagination that exalts itself against the word of God which is not love and we bring every thought every thought captive to the beingness of the Lord Jesus Christ. Once again did that get in your Bible to do or analyze? One more time did that get in your Bible to do or analyze? Do we come to things like that and tap dance around them because it doesn't fit in the box or do we do it? Well we find out we hadn't done it and we find out that this will dwell in place of demons. There's more to it than saying greater is he that's in me and he that's in the world. The Lord said get in the war and go possess the land. Amen? Alright now serpent poured water like a river out of his mouth. Now that's a river there's the kind of things he put into your mind. Criticism rebellion rejection unforgiveness anger these things he put in your mind if you don't stop them up here in your mind then it goes down into your heart. When those seeds of Satan get planted in your heart then the fruit's going to come out of your mouth when it comes out of your mouth you break God's law and when you break God's law the head you remove and you hear that's why they tempt you they tempt you to break God's law and then he removes his head and they can destroy you like a moth eating away like rottenness. Amen? The serpent poured water like a river out of his mouth after the woman of this church so that so that he did this so that circled so that why did he do it? That he might cause her to be carried away from the faith or swept away with the flood of words. Circle flood. Amen? He's going to cause her to be swept away with the flood. Now let me show you how you overcome that. We already know how to overcome but that's just that's just it. When you lay down your life there's nothing Satan can if you lay down your life how can he come and get you to go after greed? If you lay down your life how can he get you to go after pride? How can he get you to go after when you lay down your life how can he get the approval of man? How can you do any of these things? He can't do anything with you when you lay down your life. That's how you resist him up here. Because see when you quit loving the flesh when you love the Lord more than the flesh nature you're not interested in things you're only wanting to walk in love. So then you're not interested in these things of hate. Right? I'll tell you the main thing at first we decide we love the Lord with all our heart it's a very simple thing. And all our thoughts and motives the root is Jesus and all our thoughts and motives praise the Lord with all our heart. That's love. That's a God kind of love. That's how we perfect it and sanctify it. Okay, now. So how did they overcome these words? Verse 11 And they overcame him they overcame Satan because of the blood of the Lamb that's a victory at Calvary and because of the word of their testimony they speak the word of God and here watch this last part they did not love their what kind of life? Their fleshly life. They did not they didn't love selfish ambition they didn't live for themselves even unto death. Hey folks that's are the ones who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ who lay down their lives what Jesus say in John 15 12 and 13 He said this is my commandment that you love one another with the same love just as I have loved you greater love had no man than he lay down his life the only way you can love one another as Jesus loved you is to have a divine nature and the only way you can have a divine nature is to lay down all selfishness and self-centeredness is that correct? Now we keep going over this thing but every time we go over it doesn't it get clear? Okay how did they overcome? They did not love their life in this world they hated their life in the world because their mind was not set on things of the flesh their mind was set on things of the world above they did not love their life in this world which is selfish ambition and greed and jealousy and envy and pride and all selfishness they didn't love that kind of life they lived only for God didn't live no more for themselves now we are back over there in Luke 6 keep holding on to Matthew 7 Luke 6 please Luke 6 for I tell you what I am enjoying you enjoying the word of God now once again if I have said anything if any of you knew and you hadn't heard and been used to this I want you to know that maybe I started out a little fast for some of you if you hadn't been here this week I want you to know that we have covered about we have already been together here but all about 10 or 12 hours we have already been in this word so we already got a foundation so you dropped in on day 5 right so just kind of stay with us a little bit and we will get to tie some things together for you now Luke 6 now we are going to see something right here verse 43 for there is no good tree which produces bad fruit now on the other hand a bad tree which produces good fruit is that right ok now verse 46 there is a good tree and a bad tree now you are going to see what makes a good tree and you are going to see what makes a bad tree are you hearing me I can't hear you ok now look here because 45 if a good man gets what kind of treasure in his heart he is going to bring forth what is good what kind of good treasure does he have to have ok now look at me right here he has to have the word implanted in his heart is that correct then if you have the word implanted in your heart then you are obeying the gospel is that correct you are being perfected in love because the word of God the seed in here produces love you are being perfected in love you are being perfected in love you are being perfected in perfected in love you are being perfected in love you are being perfected in love you are being perfected in love you are being perfected in love you are being perfected in love you are being perfected in love you are being perfected in love you are being you are being perfected in love you are being love you are being perfected in love you are being perfected in love you are being love you are being perfected in love you are being perfected in perfected in love you are being perfected in love you are being perfected in love perfected in love you are being perfected in love you are being perfected in love you are being love you are being perfected in love you are being perfected in love you are being perfected in love you are being perfected in love you are being perfected in love you are being perfected in you are being perfected in perfected in love you are being you are being perfected in love you are being perfected in love you are being perfected in love you are being perfected in love you are being love you are being perfected in love you are being perfected in love you are being perfected in love you are being love you are being perfected in you are being perfected in you are being perfected in you are being perfected in love you are being perfected in love you are being perfected in love you are being perfected in love perfected in love perfected in perfected in love perfected in perfected in love perfected in perfected in love love perfected in love perfected in perfected in love perfected in love perfected in perfected in love perfected in love perfected in perfected in love perfected in love perfected in love love perfected in love love perfected in perfected in love perfected in love perfected in perfected in love perfected in love perfected in love perfected in perfected in love Now, don't you listen to me. In the days of Noah, there were just a few people, a few, seven, that went into an ark. Took a lot of years to build this ark. Who's that archetype, huh? Uh-oh. And then the Lord built the ark because he wanted all the righteous, which Noah, preacher righteous, I don't have time to get back over there. Was he a preacher of righteousness? The righteous come into the what? Ark. I don't man to handle all this stuff in our life. He said, because he said, the Lord said, I'm destroying this, the whole world because the thoughts and the intents of their heart, there's a heart and there's the, what comes out are all evil. That's what's happening today. He destroyed it then. He's going to destroy it today. The righteous will get in the ark. He never did come with a way religion expected him to. Anything that religion's got figured out the last days, go read your Bible and look for the opposite. That's the way, that's what the powers of darkness have done to the whole bunch of us. Now the rain came, didn't it? Did a flood come? Did a rain, did we've been reading about a rain and flood? It's rain and destruction. The flood is going to be these words that tempts a person's heart to break God's law and you break God's law, God doesn't protect you and then they destroy you as he built fortresses, changed bondage and fortresses and you're destroyed. Amen? So everybody that's destroyed from this earth that God doesn't have all their hearts, right? Oh, I thought he said there's never going to be another flood. Go back and see if they say there's never going to be another flood of water. What is water a type of? Is this called water? Words? Words? Well isn't that water too? That's what words are water too. This is a water right here that's going to destroy people. It's not a being of God. It's a testing ground, folks. Find out if you're worthy of heaven. You possess and overcome. You go, the Lord's got all your heart. You can't possess and overcome and you can't endure unless he has all your heart. What's wrong with the Lord having all your heart? The reason he doesn't have all your heart is because you have idols. You're making reservations for things you love more than him. That's what gets you destroyed. Flee from idols. Take off. Did we see that? Did we see in 1 Corinthians 10, better take heed who he thinks he's standing unless he fall because when you got immorality, you want to try the Lord, you're going to grumble, you're going to do all these things right here. You're holding on to something that you're loving more the Lord and that's what give the destroyers and we saw the Israel destroyed and the wilderness, you'll be destroyed in the same way. Let's just continue there. Verse 37, for the coming of the Son of Man is going to be just like the days of Noah. For in those days were which before the flood, here they are. They were eating. They were drinking. They were marrying. They were given in marriage until the day that what? Noah entered the ark. Well, let me ask you something. Did it say it's just going to be the same way today? Is that what your Bible said? Huh? It's going to be the same day as people are going to be eating and drinking and then did they understand what was going on back then? They didn't understand until they were destroyed. Amen? They started running. They tried to knock on the door and get in but they couldn't, could they? The door was shut, wasn't it? I can't hear you. They couldn't get in the ark. Okay. Now, verse 39, and they did not what? I can't hear you. Look at me. Look at me right here, folks. Look at me right here. If anyone advocates a doctrine that does not conform you to godliness, that doesn't agree with the sound words of the Lord Jesus Christ, they're without understanding. They got a bell in front of their face. They're just like 2 Timothy 3. We saw them over there. They have a form of godliness. They bear the fruit of lovers of self, lovers of money, which is greed. They're going to be revilers. They're going to be unloving. They're going to be gossiping. And all that kind of fruit, it showed you in 2 Timothy 3, ever learning without understanding. When your heart is tied to something that does not conform, a doctrine that doesn't conform, you're ever learning, never able to come to knowledge true because as long as this got your heart, you cannot be led to the whole counsel of God's word. Are you hearing me? All right, then. And they did not understand. That's the ones that the flood's going to sweep away. They didn't understand until the flood came and what did the flood do? Took them away. Folks, does that sound like rapture to you? That sounds like you're going the wrong direction, doesn't it? You go down instead of up, right? Because these people, these people were taken away by what? Did the flood take them? This is a destruction. You'll see over in Luke 17, it makes it even clearer. But, yeah. And they did not understand until the flood came and took them away, so shall the coming of the Son of Man be. Can I tell you something? He's coming in destruction? Can I tell you he's coming in destruction? Now look here. Verse 40. Then there'll be two men in the field, one will be what? Taken by what? Did the verse before say the flood takes them? He's going to be destroyed. He's going to be... I lost my place here. He's going to be taken by the flood. There'll be two men, one will be grounded, one will be what? He's going to be taken by what? Flood. Therefore, you better be on the what? Is that what 1 Peter 5, 8 told us? Be alert against the powers of darkness that won't... When you're alert, you're not asleep. Is that right? When you're alert, you're taking every thought captive. Isn't that right? You're overcoming. Therefore, be on alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming, but be sure of this. If the head of the house had known what time of night... What does night represent? Spiritual darkness. That the who was coming? Uh-oh! The thief is coming. The thief is coming. He comes and the Lord is turning the sons of destruction loose. Is that what I told you before? They're the man of law. They're the ones that come... The man of law. They're the ones that come and get you to break God's law. And then they break God's law, they destroy you. They're sons of destruction. They're the ones that enter in the temples. Does that make sense to you? They're coming in this time of spiritual darkness, and then the thief is coming. He would have been on the alert, like Jesus warned us to in 1 Peter 5, 8-10, and he would not have allowed his what? I can't hear you. House to been what? Did we see the foolish virgin allows her house to be broken into? I can't hear you. The foolish house allows her house to be broken into? See? I want you to look with me, oh, just turn with me over to Matthew 25. I'm skipping so much here, it's hurting me, but I'm going to go on over there. Before I do it, I'm now going to skip one of them, okay? Turn back to Matthew 13, because it'll be a lot clearer to you, okay? Matthew 13. Folks, you wouldn't mind if we just stayed just a few minutes longer than we did last night, would you, since tomorrow's the 4th of July, right? Okay. Okay. In Matthew 13, you've seen the parable of the Word there. It's all the different hearts and, you know, there's one right there that perseveres and endures and he bears fruit. And then we see there the parable in verse 24. He presented another parable to them, saying, the kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field. What is good seed? But while men were sleeping, his enemy came, and what did they sow? They put some tares also among the wheat, and they went away. So then, when the what sprang up, do we see in John 12 that the grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies? What part of it dies? Do you die to selfish ambition of flesh? I can't hear you. You died to that, then it sprang up, and what did the wheat do? Bore grain. Bore grain. What do you think that bore grain means? Fruit of love and righteousness. It bears a fruit. But then the tares became what? A good tree bears good fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit, can it? Right? Because the body of Christ, and that's where Jesus is putting the body together right now, they're going to bear the fruit of love, and I'm going to tell you, the ones that bear the fruit of love, it's going to be obvious the one that doesn't and won't deal with it. Now, all of us have some things to deal with. You better watch it. You don't go contend people in this thing. You understand what I mean? Now, if you can't do it in a loving way, brother, you go judge people. If you don't do it in a spirit of love, you go judge them while you've got your old logs. You understand what I mean? You better watch these folks that want you to quit eating pork and stuff like that, and want to condemn people and not let their light shine, and you hear what I'm saying? Okay. But then the wheat sprout did, now, did we see in Galatians 5, 19 that the deeds of the flesh are evident? That terror is evident, because he has his fruit, and he won't overcome it, and he won't deal with it, and he won't repent from it. Amen? Is that correct? All right, now. I want you to look with me in, look in verse, I've turned loose in the wrong place. Well, we're going to know what the field is. Look at verse 38. You know, these seeds are sowed in the field, and I want you to just see in verse 38, that it's not a church house. The field is a world, okay? And then we come on there, come on down, and then we want you to see, we're talking about, and then, verse 39, the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is going to be what? End of the age. Did Jesus say he's coming at the end of the age? Is that what we saw a while ago? Huh? He's coming at the end of the age, and then we saw that the flood's going to come, is that right? Okay. Now, and then we see verse 40, therefore just as the who are gathered, the terrors, they're gathered up in what? They're going to be burned with what? Fire. So it's going to be when? End of the age. Is that when Jesus comes? Everybody that knows it, the terrors are going to be burned up in fire right here. Hold up your hand if you have an understanding about that. Is that what your Bible says right there? Okay. That's what's going to happen at the end of the age. All right. Now, look at verse 41. The sun, let's look at 49 first. So it will be at the end of the age. The angels are going to come forth and they're going to take out the what? I can't hear you. Wicked from among the what? Righteous. What are they going to be cast into, the wicked? What kind of fire? Furnish the fire. They're going to be burned up. You're going to be saved as to what? Fire. Now, let's back up right down there and let's see who's going to burn up in the fire. Verse 41. The son of man is going to send forth his angels and they're going to gather out of his kingdom. The Lord is going to take out of his kingdom all what? I can't hear you. Can I have to ask you something? If someone teaches a form of godliness and doesn't teach all this gospel right here and they go minister death, are they a stumbling block? That's Babylon, the whore harlot church of the last days. She is a stumbling block. She teaches a form of godliness. She's a stumbling block. These are going to be destroyed. All right, he's going to take it. The son of man was going to send forth his angels and they're going to gather out of his kingdom all stumbling blocks and all of those who what? Who do what? Does these seeds right here break God's law? The mind set on the flesh has hustled to God and it does not subject itself to the law of God because it doesn't love your brother as yourself, it's self-love. Don't possess the lamb. Hey, folks, you see this? I can't hear you. How do you fear God? Is it picking up a little bit? Where does this want to drive you to, Jesus and the word, is it? Unless you've got an idol. How many know this is good news? I'm glad I know it. Now, let's go on. Verse 42. And they're going to cast them into the what? Furnish the fire. Now, if I furnish the fire and if I had time, look at me, folks. Look at me. Do you know in Daniel, Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, had a gold statue made, big old tall thing. And he told everybody that when the entertainment starts now, you go and bow your heart down to this image, gold image. And then the people all bowed and when the music started, they all just bowed down to it. And then there came a report to Nebuchadnezzar, hey, there's some Jews over here. Are we supposed to be Jews, folks? Hey, there's some Jews over here that won't bow down to the gold image. And went over and told them, said, now when the music starts, you bow down to that gold image right there. If you don't bow down to it, you're going to be thrown in the furnish, the fire. You all beginning to see something? And so those Jews, these Jews, Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, Abednego, Abednego, Abednego, Abednego, we're not going to bow down to no image. We only bow down to the living God. So Nebuchadnezzar said, tie them up, throw them in the furnace. So they made that furnace real hot. They tied up those Jews and throwed them in the furnace of fire. But they had on their cap, their coat, belt, they had on their weapons. And all of a sudden they looked in there and they saw some folks walking around. And you know the story. A fourth man was in there. His name was Jesus walking with them. And the fire didn't touch him. That's the wheat in the last days. Are you seeing it? Now, let me just finish something right here. But the ones that commit lawlessness, does this tie together everything we've been saying? Does it? All right. And they're going to be cast into the furnace of fire. And that place, there's going to be weeping, there's going to be gnashing of teeth. You know why they're going to be weeping, gnashing of teeth? Listen, look at me, folks. When the powers of darkness are turned loose on people, and they're going to have extreme depression, they're going to have extreme pain, and all these things we're just feeling, been feeling little of right now. And anger and hate and all these things are going to be weeping and crying and can't escape from it. And they're going to be gnashing of teeth. They're going to try to even kill themselves, won't even be able to. That's a disruption. That's a judgment of God that people of reputation won't tell that part of the Bible. You can't Bill Nichols knows his numbers talking about things like that, it upsets flesh. And then they're thrown in that fire place, furnace of fire, they're going to be weeping and gnashing of teeth, then verse 43, what does it say right there? Then the what? The righteous are going to be, and they're going to have Jesus walking them, they're going to have their heads around, then they're going to shine forth as a what? Son in the kingdom of their father, he who has what? Spiritual ears, what does it say to do? Let him hear. Now I want you, are you still holding Matthew 25? I want you to turn and meet over to Luke, Luke 17. Hurry. Now, do you know why your rock and rollers like to sing about the fire and the blood? That's the demonics making fun. They know the fire and the blood. They know they are the fire and the blood. And you know it by now. Now folks, this sounds like off walls, some of you in here knew, I'm sorry. Go buy some tapes. Be over there in Dallas, I want to remind you again, that's going to be August the 7th through the 9th, August the 7th through the 9th, we're going all day long for three days. Candle can't. Now verse 26. And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it also is going to be in the days of the Son of Man. They're going to be eating, they're going to be drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage until the day that Noah entered the ark and the flood came and what? Raptured them? I can't hear you. How many know what the flood is? Hold up your hand. The flood came and destroyed them. It was the same as happened in the days of Lot. They were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting and they were doing a whole lot of building. And on that day of Lot, on that day that Lot went out of Sodom, what did it rain? There's your fire and your blood. There comes your fire. And it brimstone from heaven and what did it do? Destroyed them. Now you've got your fire and the flood, I want you to be very careful, you mark this next verse. Verse 30 it said, it's going to be what? I can't hear you. It's going to be just the same on the day that the Son of Man is revealed. What if I told you he might want to be revealed through his body? When you have a pure heart, the glory of Jesus is going to be on you. Why don't you go do a word study on the glory. How the glory comes on the body of Christ or you either one. Do your word study on the glory right now. Verse 31, on that day, let not the one who's on the housetop and who's what? Don't let your goods in the house go down to take them away. Likewise, the ones in the field turn back. In other words, when you know this truth right now, your responsibility level raised up. Don't turn back the world. Because it says right there next verse, remember Lot's wife. You remember Lot's wife? Lot's wife, they said, now I'm going to get the righteous out of this city. But I'm going to destroy with fire Sodom and Gomorrah. You see it in Jude. You see it in 2 Peter 2 when he's talking about both teachers. Now he said, you family, you walk away from here. You get away from this city. We're going to destroy it with fire. And so they began to walk away. He said, don't look back because don't let nothing back there have your heart. Don't worry about your goods or anything else. You're going to an inhabited city. Amen. So he started walking. And this Lot's heart was still back there. And she just had to have one more look, and she turned into a pillar of salt. Because the Lord didn't have all her heart. Forget your goods. You know the truth now. Don't let your heart go to this world. Are you hearing what I'm saying? Don't go back to get your goods and start building your treasures. Here, you better get ready because Jesus is coming for a bride who gets ready. You see her in Revelation 19. She's going to be holy and blameless. And the whore harlot Babylon right here is going to be destroyed in the fire and the blood. Is this pretty plain? If it's pretty plain, can you hold up your hand? All right, now. Remember Lot's wife. Now, let's go ahead. Let me know the...
