Keith Daniel

Keith Daniel (1946 - 2021). South African evangelist and Bible teacher born in Cape Town to Jack, a businessman and World War II veteran, and Maud. Raised in a troubled home marked by his father’s alcoholism, he ran away as a teen, facing family strife until his brother Dudley’s conversion in the 1960s sparked his own at 20. Called to ministry soon after, he studied at Glenvar Bible College, memorizing vast Scripture passages, a hallmark of his preaching. Joining the African Evangelistic Band, he traveled across South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and made over 20 North American tours, speaking at churches, schools, and IBLP Family Conferences. Daniel’s sermons, like his recitation of the Sermon on the Mount, emphasized holiness, repentance, and Scripture’s authority. Married to Jenny le Roux in 1978, a godly woman 12 years his junior, they had children, including Roy, and ministered together. He authored no books but recorded 200 video sermons, now shared online. His uncompromising style, blending conviction and empathy, influenced thousands globally.

So faithfully, pour His life out, His soul out, Lord Jesus. Present to us the lovely riches of God's Word and the rest of God's people. Make it something sacred to our hearts and memories and bring fruit to all of our lives through it, Lord. Thank Thee for this gathering, thank Thee for this last day of being with God and with God's people from all over this country. Thank Thee that we came here of love for Christ and thank Thee that Thou art here with us as Thou has promised to be in a very special way. Come now and visit us by Thy Word. Wash me in the blood, fill me with the Holy Spirit, anoint my mind and my heart, take the scales of our eyes and quicken our hearts now and our minds and our understanding of the Word of God, the ways of God, and visit our hearts, Lord, as only God can through Thy Holy Word. In Jesus the Christ's name, Amen. I don't know if you have your Bible, but I'd like to read a number of passages to you. I don't know if you'd like to go from passage to passage because there are numbers of passages here and you know all of them. So if you'd like just to listen to these words, which I think every one of you would know, virtually everything I'm going to be speaking on from the Word of God, but just to listen in your hearts to what God would say through these words, perhaps without back and forth to the Bible. Revelation 12, verse 7, there was war in heaven. There was war in heaven. Michael and his angels, Michael and his angels fought against the dragon. The dragon fought, and his angels, oh, he has angels. He prevailed not. Neither was there found place anymore in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out. That old serpent called the devil, Satan, was deceiveth the whole world. He was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Now I'd like to read from a book I wrote many years ago, just one paragraph. The whole book was scriptures. It's a train of thought. Jesus said that he beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. He beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven, Luke 10, 18. And his tail swept away a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. You make a study of the Bible, you find the stars are referring to the angels almost every time. He swept away with him a third of the angels. His tail swept away a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth, Revelation 12, 4. A third of the angels, Jude records in verse 6, kept not their first estate, but they left their own habitation. They are now demons. They are now demons referred to as principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness. You look in the margin of Ephesians 6, verse 12, wicked spirit. The Greek says the whole world lieth in wickedness. You look in the margin, in the power of the evil one, under the Satan's power and control, 1 John 5, verse 19. Job 1, verse 6. Now there was a day when the sons of God, the angels, came to present themselves before the Lord. And Satan came also among them. Satan came also among them. And the Lord said unto Satan, the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, Satan answered the Lord and said, From going to and fro in the earth and from walking up and down in it. And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job? If you look in the margin, the Hebrew, Hast thou set thy heart on my servant Job? Hast thou set thy heart on my servant Job? 1 Peter 5, verse 8. Be sober, be vigilant. Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil as a roaring lion walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. Whom is this? Steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren there in the world. You are not alone, sir. Every one of us the devil is against to devour. Be sober, be vigilant, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil as a roaring lion walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. Whom resists, I love that word, steadfast in the faith. James says, Resist the devil and he will flee from you. The whole of heaven is obliged to do that for you, if you resist the devil. God's honor, God's integrity, God's name are at stake. If you, young boy, no matter what Satan does to come against you, resist him, whatever he's trying to do to destroy you, get up. Resist the devil and God says, Oh, heaven will make him flee from you. You have heaven behind you. What a wonderful thing. Ephesians 6, verse 10, Finally, my brethren. Oh, when Paul says, Finally, it's got to be wonderful. Everything is just so thrilling, you can't stop. But when he says, Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord. Not in your own strength. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God. Have you done that? When did you do it, young girl? Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore, take unto you the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all to stand. Stand, therefore, having your loins girt above the truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness, and your feet sod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Above all, above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. For I love that above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. Isn't that an amazing promise from God? One more verse now from the Holy Writ. One more holy verse. 2 Corinthians 10, verse 4. 2 Corinthians 10, verse 4. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal. They're not made by humans like an ordinary war. Oh no, the weapons of our warfare, the only warfare we're involved in, the weapons that God's given them of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God. Through the pulling down of strongholds. The pulling down of strongholds. There is in the Bible the declaration of war, the devastation of war, the desperation of war. There is the compassion of war, the confusion of war, and the conclusion of war. And you will find this throughout the scriptures. There is firstly the declaration of war. There was war in heaven. Declaration of war. A few years ago, the Queen of England called from across the world all those who had been involved as the British allies in the war against Germany to come, veterans of the war. Men who had medals of honour for bravery. She called all those still alive of dignitaries, generals, colonels, admirals. She called all across the world to come to London, to stand together for a reason, to remember it was 50 years when the war was over. To look back in remembrance and commemoration of the victory of the British allied forces against Germany and her allies. And so they came in their hundreds of thousands. And there was a solemn moment of looking back in remembrance at that war and all who had fallen, all who had perished, and their millions and millions and millions. The cost of that war, but they looked back 50 years of the cease of that war in remembrance. But brother, sister and Christ, our war is not over. One day in heaven, we will look back in remembrance at this war between God and Satan. But right now we are involved in war. Right now our war has not ended. It has not ended. Onward, Christians, soldiers, we sing. You know what you're singing when you say marching as to war. Our war has not ended. We're involved in the terrible war between God and Satan. And this earth is the battlefield. It has been declared the battlefield between God and Satan for the souls of men. Will McFarlane. Will McFarlane was the holiest man of God I ever knew in my life. And in his old age when his wife had died, he stayed just a few houses away from us, from my wife and I. And I would leave my family most of their lives for the gospel. And every time for a number of years, Will McFarlane would stand in a gap and arrive with his little suitcase to see me off. And he loved Jenny. He loved the boys. And I felt greatly privileged to have this man come. And he longed to be there with them, just as somehow someone was with them when the boys were small. But as I would get into the car to be driven off to where I was going off to preach the next occasion, the next town, the next city, he never failed to always arrive in time before I left. And he would stand there at the car, and before I would get in that car, he'd take his hat off. And he'd hold on to me, and he'd hold on to Jenny, with tears coming down his eyes. From his heart, this man would pour out a prayer to God that made me tremble. Oh, he would pray again and again. Never once did I leave without Will McFarlane taking his hat off and beginning to call God. But was it he pray before I got in that car? Oh, God! Here goes a soldier to the front line of the battle. Satan and all his demons are watching him, trembling. For he has weapons. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of the stronghold of the devil. Oh, anoint him. Uncarnize him. Take him, God, to the front line of the battle and keep him under the blood. Rebuke the devil away in the name of Jesus. Keep him safe. Whatever the devil's god and mind to do to stop him from finding victory for God at the front line of the battle in the war. Oh, undo the devices of the devil. Take the Satan's hand. Oh, oppose God in this town. Come cleanse the town with the blood of Christ. Come pour thy spirit, God. Where the enemy is coming like a flood, raise up the spirit of the Lord. Raise up a spurn it against him. Oh, God, come now. Work conviction in that town now before he arrives. Move by the spirit to make men God conscious. Move by the spirit to make men conscious of the meeting. Draw them, God. Put soul's thirst in them. Take the scales of their eyes, God. Oh, he went into war. I knew I was going into war before I got in that car. I miss his prayers, you know. Can you believe it? I went into town, sir. When I arrived at the house to put my clothes down before the meetings had started. Before one sermon. There were people standing sometimes in those towns at the door where I used to stay. Weeping. Family. Wanting to see God on their knees outside on the stoop. Seeking God under desperation before I started preaching. Oh, when a man prays like that, the devil begins to retreat. There's a war. There's a war. If you're not conscious you're in war, young person, you'll be devoured. If you don't conscious this is a war, the whole thing, the whole thing, everything about this world is the war between God and Satan. And if you're not conscious of that war, you'll be devoured. There's the declaration of war. It's been declared but it hasn't ended. One day it'll end. Don't doubt that. But it isn't ended. It's on now. And you need to be conscious what it's all about. To survive. I pity the child of God that doesn't know as he gets up in the morning. There's a war. There's a war between God and Satan. It involves me. And I could be a casualty of that war if I'm not conscious of it. And don't take the armor of God. And look under God. The declaration of war. Then there's the devastation of war. This is sad. After the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, if you read through this holy book, you come just a few chapters after the fall of man where Satan did this terrible, terrible, terrible grief. That all eternity there will never be something that could come near to the grief that this evil being caused when man fell. But there's the devastation of war. This war declared between God and Satan. By chapter 6 we read, and it came to pass, when men began to multiply in the face of the earth, verse 5, God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth. Every, this is tragic, every imagination of the source of his heart was only evil. Every imagination of the source of his heart was only evil, continually. It repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth. It grieved him at his heart. Oh, the devastation of war. Verse 11, the earth also was corrupt before God. The earth was filled with violence. God looked upon the earth. Behold, it was corrupt. All flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. Oh, the devastation, the devastation of war. Right down to this day, don't doubt it, right down to this day men are being destroyed by the devil through sin. The Second World War saw millions and millions and millions of people being destroyed. But the war between God and Satan, billions and billions and billions and waves of generation upon generation of billions of souls are being destroyed by the devil through sin. In this war between God and Satan, billions, billions are destroyed. No war could compare with the casualties of the war between God and Satan, sir, that are going on right now through sin. Starting right from the fall of man, there was the devastation of war. There was the declaration of war. There was the devastation of war. Thirdly, there is the desperation of war. The desperation of war. My father went to war. He was not saved. My father had to go to war. And my father, when he left my mother, hated the thought of parting. But he hated war. He hated war. When I was a little boy, my uncles had all been to the war, all unsaved men. All my uncles, all they wanted to do was talk of the war, the battles, the terrible things that they saw. They would continue looking back to the war. Why, across the British allied forces, all the countries, they have what they call the moth club. And men in their millions would gather to remember, keep vividly alive every battle, every victory, every defeat. To tell of their acts of bravery, where they got their medals from and what it was all about. Battles where people were slain and blown apart in front of their eyes. All they wanted to do, and they gather to this day, remembering the war. But my father didn't want to. I remember as a boy how when they talked about the war, my uncles, whenever they gathered in our home, we had a very big family. Always the thing came about the war, daddy would just put his head down, put his eyes down. He never said a word about war. Never once, I never heard him ever talk about war. If my uncles went on, he would get up and he would walk out. And I noticed it and everyone noticed it. No one challenged him though. No one challenged him. I asked my mummy one day, why? Why do all my uncles and everyone else speaks about the war all the time? Why does daddy never ever speak about the war? Mummy looked at me, stunned at my question. But after a while I noticed tears coming from my mummy's eyes and she said, Keith, no one hated the war like your daddy. He hated war. When your daddy walked away from me to go to war, he had pitch black hair like yours. But when he came back six years later, Keith, his hair was snow white. He became aged. He lost years of his life in the war. It aged him. He says, I think it was the mortar bombs, these buzz bombs they developed in Germany. And all you heard was the buzzing as they come in their thousands across the sky. You don't know where they're going to stop. But suddenly you hear a silence and all you know is they're going to fall. You don't know when. Suddenly, suddenly people just blown up, flying, bodies flying in the air. No, no way of knowing where it's going to land. And when they heard those buzz bombs, I think that's what did it to your daddy. He lived daily in fear of being killed and not coming back to us. He was home to life. He hated the war. The war was a terrible thing, my boy. And your daddy hated it. But now listen. The declaration of war, the devastation of war, the desperation of war. You think we don't have despair in the war between God and Satan when we're a child of God? Paul said we despaired of life. You know, I think we're a little bit untrue about Paul when we preach. We talk of how in the prison, whipped and in pain, he stood there offering sacrifices of praise and song. You know, I've heard the sermons again and again of Paul when everything was against him and he was so treated and mistreated and wronged. How he was imprisoned and what did he do? He sang praises to God. At midnight all the prisoners were staggered that a person could sing praises to God and yet in prison. But that's not altogether true about Paul. You know, we need to be a little bit more true. The same Paul despaired of life in Achaia. And if he could despair of life, brother, you and I can. Be truthful about the man. In this war, there comes moments we can despair of life itself. Like Paul did. 2 Corinthians 7, verse 5. When we came to Macedonia, our flesh had no rest. We were troubled on every side. He says, Paul admitted it. War is a terrible thing. We despaired of life. We despaired of life. If Paul could, we can. Oh, there's the desperation of war, the declaration of war we see in the Bible. Secondly, we saw the devastation of war right through the scriptures. God talks of it from the beginning of the Bible to the end. There's the casualties, the devastation of this war between God and the devil. But there's also the desperation of war. It's a terrible war going on, sir. We're not in heaven yet. And there's moments we can despair of life. Then there's the compassion of war. The compassion of war. What am I speaking of here? I said years ago in your country that I'd cut the whole thing to a short moment. How a man in war that I met, unsaved in the battle, despairing of everything going on, despairing of life like my father, despairing of being, will he die the next moment? Is every second, this could be my last? And this man was in torment. And suddenly all the bombs stopped, all the firing of brand munition, all the machine guns. There was just this deathly silence and a bitter cold. And he stood weeping. And the man confronted him in these moments of silence and said, You are going to a worse torment than you are now if you die without Christ. You need to seek God to save your soul. He said, I can die. I've prepared to meet with God. But look at you. If you die, you go to a worse place than you are now. You cannot die. I can die. I'm ready. But you cannot die. You need to seek Christ. As he was begging this man about his soul, suddenly the battle started again. All the machine guns, but one particular machine gun. And this man watched and just saw what was happening. And he put his body in front to protect this unsaved man. And his body was riddled from top to bottom with bullets. And he fell down. And this unsaved man pulled himself out and looked at this man who stood in the way to protect him from dying. And his unsaved last words were, I can die. But you can't. I can go to heaven. I'm ready to stand before God, but you can't. You cannot face God. You're not safe till I die for you. I give my life for you. That you can have time to seek God. Don't, don't let me have died for nothing. And he dies in his arms. That man pushed him way out from under the body of this man who died for him. To give him time through his gun down. And God on his knees and wept with a loud agony to God to save his soul through the blood of Christ. Through the death of Christ. Peace that parted all understanding like a wave of divine love. He seemed to sweep over his tormented soul. And he was lifted into praise. Next to the body of the dead Christian that had given his life for him. And that man lived the rest of his life he said. In that war. He wasn't at war with other souls. He said all he wanted to do was rescue souls. Bring them to Christ. Everywhere. Just bringing people, pleading, begging with people to come to Christ. Oh brother there are souls to rescue. There are souls to save in this war. Have you compassion? Have you such a compassion in this war where the casualties of war daily are everywhere you will ever look if you open your eyes? Have you compassion that is willing to give your life to bring the world to Christ? To lay your life. This war demands compassion that would lay your whole life. To sacrifice your life to bring the world to God. Have you? Have you brought any to God young man? Have you made any sacrifice? Here a man gave his life for one soul. So vivid was the thought of hell. Have you any compassion? Have you any compassion? For the last when I was first laid up by God. Oh there was a staggering hymn. That shook my heart. Well if I haven't got it in the pulpit today it's the first time I've lost a piece of paper. But that will do me good. Here it is. Oh when God laid his hand on me to separate my life for the gospel. I knew, I knew something sacred was happening. I don't know if I wept more than there was joy at what God was saying to me. Because I couldn't understand how he could choose a man like me. But I heard this hymn being sung. And oh it burned in my soul. Forgive the singer. Listen to the words. So send I you. To labor unrewarded. To serve unpaid. Unloved. Unsought unknown. To bear rebuke. To suffer scorn and scoffing. So send I you. To toil for me alone. So send I you. To bind the bruised and broken. For wandering souls. To work. To weep. To wait. To bear the burdens of a world weary. So send I you. To suffer for my sake. So send I you. To loneliness and longing. With heart a hungering for the loved and known. Forsaking home. And kindred. Friend and dear one. So send I you. To know my love alone. So send I you. To leave your life's ambition. To die. To dear desire. Self will resign. To labor long and love where men revile you. So send I you. To lose your life in mine. So send I you. To heart made hard by hatred. To eyes made blind. Because they will not see. To spend. Though it be blood. To spend and spare not. So send I you. To taste. Of Calvary. When I heard this hymn sung. I knew it was God speaking to my heart. You see there's the compassion of war. Of being willing to lay your life down and sacrifice. For souls to be saved. But you're willing when you look at the sacrifice of Christ. And it thrills you. That you can be part of this war. This compassion to bring the lost to Christ. D.L. Moody. D.L. Moody was one of the five greatest soul winners in the history of the world. Millions came to God through him. Millions. But you know what Moody said when he was an old man? He stood the whole world being shaken by this one man. The world shook through Moody. Oh God give us another man. The whole world shake that. When he was an old man theologians stood and they didn't know Moody was listening to them. They didn't know he was standing there as they were talking of this man's compassion that drove him. That he couldn't pass a drunk in the gutter without kneeling. He walked from a president. To kneel with a drunk. He had his priorities so right. No one was greater than another. No one mattered more than another. Oh Moody. Moody. How God had brought the world to him. How God had wrought such devastation to the kingdom of the devil through Moody. How God had used him through this compassion that drove him to run down the streets after souls who would run. He ran after souls. Have you? Who would run from you? Did you run after them? No wonder they gave themselves to Christ. How could you not break down all the resistance of a man who won't stop running? Even if you run. Oh Moody. Who shook the world through his compassion. So that Oxford and Cambridge universities went on their faces in their thousands. As no other man in history. And when they said why is it that the great Spurgeon and others were not used like this. Who were great orators. How come Moody and one young fellow said no man had such compassion for souls as Moody. All I became conscious of no man loved my soul like this. Moody filled with compassion. And made the learned of Oxford fall on their faces. Weeping. Groppling with God. All the resistance. All the hardness. All breaks down when there's compassion like that. And he stood there listening to these men speaking how the world was staggered by his compassion. And Moody said these words. And these men were shaken as they turned and saw Moody himself standing listening. Then to no aid. And he looked and the tears were coming down his eyes as what they were speaking about. And Moody said these sacred words only once in his life he said them. But take no stress of Christ. What made this man bring the world to God. Moody said when I was young in the faith. God took me aside. And showed me somehow he gave me to understand that the world is like a sinking vessel. A sinking vessel in the ocean. And men are perishing and there's no hope. And they're perishing. There's no hope. And here they're just perishing. And God as he sees me aware of men suddenly conscious. Men have no hope. They're perishing on this vessel. Sinking. Without hope. Moody. God says. Moody points. God pointed me to a single lifeboat. That's all just to a single lifeboat. And he said Moody save all you can. And from the moment God gave me that revelation of what the world is all about. From that moment till this all I have lived for is to save us all. Have you sir. Have you young lady. Live to bring the world to God. Will there be a Moody again here. Who sacrifices life for souls to be saved. Oh there's the declaration of war. There's the devastation of war. There's the desperation of war. There's the compassion of war. There's the compassion of war. Then there's the confusion of war. The confusion of war. Oh you know the devil loves to wear out the saints. And he does. And do you know how he wears us out more than any other thing he does. He loves to get us fighting against each other. In this battle between God and Satan. If he can get us fighting against each other. We don't wrestle against flesh and blood for God's sake. This child of God did it true to your heart once and for all. Your only war is against the principalities and the powers. The devastating demons that are in there. Millions everywhere with Satan. The only enemy is Satan. Not men. But somehow he wears us out by getting us fighting against each other. And nothing is done against him once we start that. Because God can't answer our prayers the moment we start fighting against each other. And I could give you 10 to 15 promises God gives about that. He can't answer your prayers for anything else. Oh the confusion of war. Fighting against each other. Here in America. You had the civil war. And do you know what the one single tragedy of the civil war was? Have you ever thought about it? Men. They say in the history books. Men who once fought alongside by side now. Were fighting against each other. And the heart rending. Of men who didn't understand how suddenly men who. Generals who once led you as one army against one enemy. Now you were standing there fighting that general. Now suddenly you're fighting against the men who once led you as one. Your leaders that once led you together. Now your leaders are parted. And your leaders lead you to fight against each other. Do you know what the state of the church is in? When it reaches that. Oh and the devils behind that. Friends suddenly fighting against friends. Families fighting against families. Is that possible? Do you know back home in South Africa. I went to a museum. Which has photographs of my family who were involved in the war. My great grandparents and etc. The war between Britain. And South Africa they called the. English Boer War. You people had the English war also here. But. In this war. Here was my family. And I was looking at all the photographs. Being led by this historian. That was taking me. Especially they brought her back. To take me through all. And so all my family. Enrolled in this big area of Oudtshoorn. Where we first settled as a family. From Europe. And here were photographs. Pointed out somehow. Here's my great grandfather. Here's my grandfather. His brothers. Standing there with the. One army of the British. And here. Another photograph. Stands my. Grandfather's brothers. With the Boers. With the army against. Where my grandfather was. His family. Oh the Boer War. Ripped South Africa apart. Family. Fighting. She told me in the night. After the battle. The brothers would all go. Down to the farm. To daddy and mommy. They sit around the big table. And they all eat together. Can you believe it. Here they're eating together home. Before the sun comes up. They both. All get up. One lot goes to this army. The next lot goes to that army. It's still a family. But when it comes to fighting. They're fighting against each other in the war. The confusion of war. And I said. But is it possible. That a brother. Could take a weapon. And aim. Deliberately knowing. He's going to destroy a brother. He knows. What he's about to do. Will destroy his brother. Is it possible. That a brother can do that to a brother. The lady looked at me. She said. With war. Anything. The confusion of war. Is it possible. That David. Could send Uriah. To the front line of the battle. To have him killed. Is it possible. That David. Could send. A man who was faithful. In one. To his death. Because of David's sins. He could want him dead. And he did kill him. Is it possible. That Cain. Could kill his brother. The bible says. Because his own works were evil. And his brother's righteous. Is it possible. That you could kill through sin. Destroy your brother. In the church of Christ. In the body of Christ. You know what you're about to do. Will devour him. James 4 verse 1. From whence come wars. And fighting among you. Come may not hence even of your lusts. That war in your members. Ye lust and have not. Ye kill. And desire to have and cannot obtain. Ye fight and war. And have not. Because ye ask not. Ye ask. And receive not. Because ye ask amiss. That ye may consume it upon your lusts. What's he talking about. You ask. You receive not. Because ye ask amiss. You ask so wrongly. Oh beloved. You know I think the single greatest reason. God cannot answer our prayers for revival. Is because we are on our knees. Crying for this nation to be revived. The person on his knees next to us. We hate. We're at war with. Not with the enemy. With each other. You ask. You receive not. Tell me Church of Christ. Tell me now. Has God not come in revival. Though you've prayed for it. Though you've prayed for it on your knees all together. Because the man you're praying with you hate. The brother you're praying next to for God to come in revival. You want him destroyed. You want him out. You ask amiss. You ask and you cannot receive. Because you're warring with each other. God is saying. Look at it's context. The whole chapter before. Chapter four where he says where do these wars come from. Fighting. That prevent God from answering your prayers. Because you ask wrong if you're in this state of mind. You can't ask right. Your motives must be wrong. Even for the things of your sound your spiritual rosti. What's it all about. Just look at chapter three. The tongue. Is unruly evil full of deadly poison. Oh how many lie dead. Hey. Where is thy brother. Who else must God ask. Who else must God ask. Lady. Am I my brother's keeper. Yes you are. But to what you did. Your brother's destroyed. You say am I responsible for. You are. You destroyed him. It's a deadly deadly poison. If the tongue is unruly. You're as holy as your tongue. If any man offend not in word. The same as a perfect man. God said. Not the way you dress. As lovely as that is. And as much as I respect you. But I would be a hypocrite. I would be a hypocrite to stand here. And say you lovely people by the way you dress. If this tongue. Doesn't prove to me. You have the right to dress so. That you belong to Jesus. And are submissive to him. How's your tongue sir. How many brothers. The blood of thy brother. Cry it out. How many canes are sitting here. Praying for revival. And how many. Does God have to point back. To be on the way if it wasn't for you. Fighting. Wanting them dead. Killing. You kill. You desire to have but you cannot obtain. For what you've done. How many brothers bloodlust crying. From the ground to God that you destroyed. With the unruly evil full of deadly poison. Oh it destroys. Don't doubt that. The foremost proof. The foremost proof of holiness. Is a man's ability to refrain. From the world and God's sight. And man's eyes. The foremost proof of holiness. Now listen to the most staggering words of all. About this war in James chapter 3. Listen to what God finally says to James. And this should shake the church to the heart. It should shake the church to its knees. In America and the West. Who sees no revival. Though they pray for it alongside of each other. While they war with each other. Listen to what God says about this tongue. Finally at the end of the chapter. Who is a wise man. And you. Let him show out of a good conversation. His works with meekness of wisdom. But. But. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts. Glory not. And lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above. But is earthly sensual devilish. That's the source of it. For where envying and strife is. There is confusion. And every evil work. You know what Leonard Ravenhoe says about that verse. That God says to the church. Where envying and strife is. Where there's fighting amongst you people. There is confusion. And every evil work. I can only think of the evil works I've known. I can name them. The name will defile you. But every evil work I can't name. And God says. Where you are fighting amongst each other. Where there's envying and strife. Don't glory. This isn't from God this wisdom that you have. There's confusion. There's every evil work. Every evil work is going on where you're fighting. Leonard Ravenhoe says. If God were to lift up the lid of the present day. So called evangelical church of the west. If God were to lift up the lid of the present day. So called evangelical church. The stench of sin. And hypocrisy and shame. That will rise. Will be unbearable for the world to behold. If God were to lift up the lid. Of all who profess to know Christ. In our denominations that say we're evangelical. And born of God. Who are fighting between each other. God says. There's every evil work going where there's fighting. Don't argue with me doctrinally brother. Or leader of some denomination who's going to hear this tape. You argue with God and say God's not true. If you say every evil work is not going on in your denomination. If you're fighting amongst each other as leaders. Let alone those down there. And normally where the leaders are ending and striding. Everybody has. Beloved. There's an army that saves this nation on its knees. With no weapons man is made. But the weapons God has given us. While we have the protection through the armor God has given us. And when we know we have that protection. Righteousness. Truth. Righteousness. Purity. This is the result. Of taking hold of the world. Like Moody. When you have that armor and you have that weapon. There's one army that can save this country. Doing battle. But until it gets recruited. Who's God recruiting to join an army that could save America. One army. Take your eyes off the politicians. They won't save your country. Take your eyes off your wealth. It isn't going to save your country from devastation. That you cannot believe will come in such a vengeance. Against the wrong as Sodom and Gomorrah. Against the devil on what's coming here. You have one hope. The church of Jesus Christ. Becomes an army on its knees. To do war against the devil. And the weapons of our warfare. Not carnal but mighty. Through God to the pulling down of strongholds. You will pull down the devil's strongholds. In this country overnight. When you get on your knees. Church of Christ. When you stop fighting. And criticizing those who don't have the same standard as you. And condemning them and ostracizing yourself. I do too but. But. If you don't love with such a depth of love and compassion. Anyone you're criticizing. Your love isn't. So shallow. How do you look at everyone sir. Can you pray for them with weeping tears of love. Or do you pray with them with anger and vengeance. There's one enemy you have sir. If you name the name of Christ. It's the devil. He's the only one you do warfare against sir. And until we do it. The devil will just devour us. When we're fighting against everybody else. That names the name of Christ. And against each other. Who want towing the line. To exactly what I want. You had it. Some men as good as saying. You have one enemy. And everyone else you show such compassion. Though you don't ever compromise. Through your own life an example. I'm not calling for compromise. That's not love. That's hatred. And forgiveness. And patience and tenderness. And unity and asking forgiveness. And getting your knees to a soul. That hasn't been able to forgive you. So that you have the right. To start praying for revival. In a way the devil will be the enemy. And not those within the church. There's one hope for America. Is when the church of Jesus Christ. The blood was born again soul. Some young in the faith. Some old. Some stepped out of the world. Some have it. But take them not as an enemy. Because they're not perfect like you. And get them on their knees. To look at the one enemy. Oh army of God. Your country will be saved. If the church gets on its knees. United not divided. Compassionate with each other. Merciful, patient, forgiving. Tender but one. And you look to Christ. To lead you against this fall. And take the weapons of faith. And watch. What prayer of a united church. Will do in three months in this land. God will undo 100 years. Of what the devil's built up of depravity. I guarantee you three months at the most. I'd be stunned if not. The things you weep over. In days will crumble. When the church gets on its knees. Don't protest. With politicians. Pray for them. And watch what happens. With as much zeal as you protest. Or march in armies. Up to White House. Pray with that zeal. And that sacrifice. And see what happens. See what happens. The declaration of war. The devastation of war. The desperation of war. The compassion of war. The confusion of war. And the conclusion of war. Oh the conclusion of war. Is coming to a swift end you know. In the last days Jesus said. And don't doubt it. It is. It is. In the last days. Because iniquity shall abound. That's the reason. The love of many so wax cold. I dare you to preach that across America. You ministers who are going to hear this tape. I dare you to preach it loud and clear. No matter what your doctrine. Jesus said. Because in the last days. Iniquity shall abound. The word comes from the word from an avalanche. The devastation calls from the avalanche. Oh it's like an avalanche you know. Nothing stopping it. Nothing can but the church on its knees. But the church is not on its knees. But if it does right to the last days. Let me tell you a revival will come if the church gets down in one nation. Don't blame the coming of Christ to the state of the world. The salt of the earth is just not being effective. That's it. But. In the last days. And in any war. There's always a last stand by an enemy. There's always a last stand. Desperate. And the devil is making his last stand. He's so desperate because his time has run out. And he's never before in history. Doing what he's doing now. In every single moment. He's never sleeping. While we sleep he's. My time is gone. To do hurt to my only enemy. God he said. Don't doubt it. In those last stand the devil is making. There's going to be so many casualties. You cannot believe and they are ready. Because God says in those last stand. The devil is going to make. There's going to be so many casualties. It's unbelievable. Do you know the Greek actually says the love of the most. Let's be honest. The most. Jesus says preach it now. You people from the reformed theologian group. Who I'm one with in many thousands of ways. You'll be stunned. But if it withholds you from crying out warnings. To people in the church. Who are playing the fool with sin. Then I'm not with you sir. You've missed the mark on your whole doctrine. Preach it so loud. That in the last days. There's going to be casualties. Like you've never seen. If you're not careful child of God. The love of the most. Will wax cold. I don't want to even go into that doctrinally. I'll leave that up to you brilliant theologians. To explain away. Why you're still safe. Not me. It will wax cold. God said. Why? Because iniquity shall abound. The sluice gates. Are open by legalism. To say no. It's freedom of speech. It's art and depravity flows. Nothing will hold back. What the devil's been trying to do. In this last moment. From the highest source of authority down. To defile 10 year old. In their millions. With no protection legally. No care for them legally. And they'll protect art. And they'll throw away censorship. In the last days. And they'll call it. Art. When all it is is pornography. And depravity. And destructive. To even a 10 year old. Standing defiled. Because no one cared for his protection. Anymore. The last days are gonna be terrible days. Because iniquity. Shall come like an avalanche. Suddenly nothing. Nothing's gonna stop it apart from the church. On it's knees in this land. Let me tell you. But you will stop it if you want to. Church of Christ. If you just get geared together. Get to hold each other. Get to forgive each other. Get to have patience. Without compromising. The last battle. The conclusion of war. Don't doubt it. It's so close. The conclusion of this war between God and Satan is so close. If you're gonna do anything for Christ. Church of Christ. You better do it fast. Like you can. And every minute counts. Every minute without the church on it's knees. You can throw millions into hell. And who's to blame? The politicians for taking away censorship? For getting into battle? When will you Church of Christ. Get into the war. The only war you have the right to get involved in. When will you Church of Christ. Take the weapons. The only weapons you can take with liberty. And faith that God wants you. Weapons not men made. But will do such devastation. This war against the devil. It will undo his stronghold. You see them crumble. When we take them by faith as an army though. The conclusion of the war is close. And God says and I believe he weeps. How we can't be weeping about such a verse. And we know we're living in it. And we have no compassion. And we divide it. Oh the love of the most to act cold. Because iniquity still abounds. Those that will be holy will become more holy. Don't doubt it. No one has excuse to blame. The depravity of the world for not keeping holy. You're as holy as you will be. Don't blame anything that comes in the world somehow. Men will take what the world's offering. And take the rise up of God. And be affected somehow. Be careful. Don't blame God and don't blame the world. It isn't that God wants you. Those that will be holy will become more holy. In those last moments. In that devastating last battle of the devil. That last stand. Those who will be wicked will become more wicked. More evil literally. Tell me every one of you sitting here. How many of you. Your love is waxing cold for one reason. Compromising for one reason. You wouldn't if there hadn't been this iniquity. You walk to buy a loaf of bread. And you've got to pass this by ten magazines. And pornography in a tea room. In an ordinary store. Let alone seek out some evil place today. It's everywhere. You can't have a TV virtually. Because 90% is depravity. You're not safe in this world as it were. Because everything just cries out to little children. Be depraved. And you are being affected in these last days. Because iniquity is abounding. Because there's compromise. How many times have you looked twice at that magazine? How many of you picked it up? Look at the pages. How many of you watched where you weren't being watched by the church. But you watched. You compromised. Do you honestly think your love isn't going to wax cold? Do you honestly think the Holy Spirit isn't so sensitive. Isn't going to withdraw from the tender walk with you. And protect you. And little 11-11 is a whole lump. Watch. Just watch five minutes. Something you haven't watched before. Get away with it. It becomes like an avalanche in your own heart and life. Once you taste it and open your life. Or give it a second look or a second chance. The end of the wedge is big, sir. The beginning is small. But watch how the devil just gets that beginning in. And he'll have the end right in. In your life of sin. How many of you think you can get away with it. But you're just going to go worse to worse. How many of you desperately need. In the compromising day where the most is waxing. To be honest and say God. Because iniquity is abounding. I'm being so affected I'm compromising. I have to admit to God. But I want to do something fast before it. It ends with me a casualty of war. I don't care what your doctrine. Whoever you are you're going to listen to this tape. Even if you're preaching me. You're a theological genius in a theological seminar, sir. Is your life love waxing cold for the same reason. Then bury your doctrine and just get right with God for a minute. Thank God. God says. God says to Paul in Romans 12. I beg you. I beseech you. By the mercies of God. That you present. Your body. A living sacrifice. You're not dead. Most sacrifices are dead. You're living but make your body a sacrifice. Why? To be holy. Holy. I beg you. I beseech you. Therefore burdened by the mercies of God. That you present you dedicate. What you dedicate God consecrate. God can't dedicate. You can. You can't consecrate. God can. You can't sanctify. God can. You can't be spirit filled by your own strength. God does that for you. He cleanses you through and through and through. That you may be sanctified. Holy. And kept blameless. Your whole body, soul, spirit. Faithful is he that calls you to this. To this work of sanctification. Who is also faithful who will do it. If you trust him. Like our brothers calling you. This morning. How many of you compromising. How many of you staggering. You're going to be the casualties of war. No matter what your doctrine. Be honest look at you already. In the last days. How many of you desperately, desperately, desperately. Because of the compromise you know is going on. Because of iniquity. Because of the avalanche. Because you are being affected. You are staggering. You are stumbling. You are beginning to let the webs in. To let the little leaven in. That call is coming. But you desperately need to seek God right now. And say God it is the last days. I am being affected. My love is being affected. For thee with all the pretence of my singing. And I'm desperate God. That I don't become a casualty of war. That I become more holy. And so I stop right now in desperation. To beg you Paul says. By the mercies of God that you present your bodies. A living sacrifice. Holy acceptable unto God. Which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world. But be transformed by the renewing of your mind. That you may prove. What is that good and perfect and acceptable will of God for you. Let God prove to the end. His perfect will for you. Don't become a casualty. Change your mind. Renew it. Back to one thing. I won't become a casualty of war. I won't conform to the church that they are going to go into the world. I won't. Doesn't mean I don't have compassion for them. Or love. Or pity. But I won't. I purpose in my heart I won't defile myself. Even if the whole rest of this company of boys does. I won't. You can. I will dedicate. My whole body and soul. To be a living sacrifice. While others give in. I will be holy. That God can sanctify me. For what I dedicate He will consecrate. How many of you need to dedicate yourselves in such a way? In desperation? No. By changing your mind and not being conformed to the world and saying no. It is the last moment. It is the last battle. But I will be sanctified. I will be filled. I will be. I will dedicate myself God to be holy. And if I do. I believe with all my heart. In my longing. In my faith. In the blood of Christ. And in the Holy Spirit empowering me. To be holy. All of you compromising. All of you staggering. All of you close to casualties. And one day might be if you don't deal with it. I beseech you brethren by the mercies of God. That you right now present your body. Oh come don't be conformed to this world. Dedicate your life to be holy. That God can sanctify. That He can consecrate. All of you compromising. Be honest. You've been affected by the iniquity that's abounding. Like Christ did you. Those of you desperate. Desperate with God. Saying God I need desperately to check my life here. In this moment of the last battle. Between God and the devil. With so many lovers drinking cold. I don't want to God. I dedicate my body. To be a living sacrifice. I dedicate without consequence. Those of you who need to say that to God. That helps nothing. To protect a testimony that's not real. Is hypocrisy. I want reality. It doesn't matter what man thinks. It's what God thinks. And God must have His moment with me right now. All of you standing. Come stand in the front here please. It'll cost you. Those of you sitting. Who should have stood. It's going to cost you so much more than it's costing these people. You won't believe it. You won't believe the cost. Come on please. I know so many of you knelt for God to sanctify you the other night. And I appreciate that. But here are people who still need. Still need a moment. Before they go back out into this world. To make sure God's going to keep them. Pray for them. Don't judge them. Don't judge them. Not one of you. Let's bow our heads. Pray after me please all of you. No matter who you are. What you can say from your heart. To be holy. I know it is my reasonable service. That thou canst prove. What is that good. And perfect. And acceptable will of God. For me. Concerning me. What I dedicate. Please consecrate. Wash me through and through in the blood of Christ. And through and through. And through and through. Sanctify me holy. Jesus. Fill me with the Holy Spirit. Take me God. And make me holy. By a work of grace. And by thy grace. Keep me holy. That I may become more holy. Even if others. Would become more wicked. Help me. To be amongst the first. Of the church of Christ. To recruit into the army. Of God. That must do battle. On its knees. By faith. To pull down the stronghold of the devil. In America. And let others join me. In their throng. Until America. Once again. Seeks thee. Through the church. On its knees. In Jesus Christ's name. For his sake. Amen. We're all standing. We all belong to Christ. Now army of God. The devil's trembling. In case you just might. Get on your knees like an army. And if you need. Before you get on your knees. To go and say forgive me. To a thousand people. Start now brother. But start being able. To have the right to pray. With this army. Not one of you has the right. To kneel with the army of God. That's against someone else. Or warring against each other. Who hasn't done everything in your power. To be at peace with all men. No matter what it means. And most of the time. It's pretty humbling to do that. But it's possible. And if you do sir. You have the right to storm heaven. And to come. Church of Christ. Bring your country back to God. You know why? Because when America comes back to God. The world follows her. She always did. But when America decides to sue the devil. The whole world decides to follow her. She always did. Something about America. What a responsibility the church has. It's late. I know. It's later than any of you think. You'll be shocked if you knew how late it is America. How few moments are left. You'd better do something fast. And wouldn't it be wonderful if it started here. And like a wave. Swept across the church. When they watch how God starts answering your prayers. And you just advance. As an army conquering Satan. You will. Some way it's got to start though. But watch how the rest of the world follows you. The church in America follows you. If they see God with you. God's with you to the degree that he uses you to win souls brothers. And that is a result of vital reality with Christ. In the heart. Daily. Now you cannot backslide if you never miss God in the morning and the night. You cannot lose sanctification or a dedicated life. It is impossible for the devil to do any damage to you. If you never miss God in the morning. Soaking yourself in prayer and in the word of God. As your greatest love in life. That nothing comes near the love you have for it or the dedication. Or the protection or the nurturing that you sow to these two things. Soaking yourself in the Bible and the word of God. The devil can't touch the soul who does that. Soak yourself. As your greatest priority in life. And you'll grow. You'll grow. Who's the brother that led us in this meeting? Can he come please? We have one more service. I don't know how many of you have gone by then. But I hope you come back tonight. For the last service before we go out. Pray for me please. Is there anyone else preaching? Oh church of God. Get right. With God in each other. And get on your knees and watch your country since God. Please do it now.
