Sermon Transcription
Let's sing two songs for everyone, all together. What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. What can make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Oh, precious is the flow that makes me white as snow. No other fount I know, nothing but the blood of Jesus. For my part in this I see, nothing but the blood of Jesus. For my part in this I see, nothing but the blood of Jesus. Oh, precious is the flow that makes me white as snow. No other fount I know, nothing but the blood of Jesus. Nothing can for sin atone, nothing but the blood of Jesus. Naught of good that I have done, nothing but the blood of Jesus. Oh, precious is the flow that makes me white as snow. No other fount I know, nothing but the blood of Jesus. I want to sing that song, You Are Who You Are For A Reason. Everyone here is here by divine appointment. You're not on this earth just by chance or by accident. You're on this earth and you're brought together for a reason. Let's sing that song. You are who you are for a reason. You're a part of an intricate plan. You're a precious and perfect unique design called God's special woman or man. You look like you look for a reason. Our God made no mistakes. He knit you together within no womb. You're just what He wanted to make. The parents you had were the ones that He chose. And no matter how you may feel, they were custom designed with God's plan in mind. And they bear the Master's seal. No, the trauma you faced was not easy. And God wept that it hurt you so. But it was allowed to shape your heart so that into His likeness you'd grow. You are who you are for a reason. You were formed by the Master's rod. You are who you are, beloved, because there is a God. We praise you, God. We bless you today, Father. You're an awesome God. You're a holy God. There is none like you. He is here. Hallelujah. He is here. Amen. He is here. Holy, holy. I will bless His name again. He is here. Listen closely. Hear Him calling out your name. He is here. You can touch Him. You will never be the same. I sense an awesome moving of the Holy Spirit. I see His countenance resting on your face. I know that there are angels hovering all around us for the presence of the Lord is in this place. He is here. Hallelujah. He is here. Amen. He is here. Holy, holy. I will bless His name again. He is here. Listen closely. Hear Him calling out your name. He is here. You can touch Him. You will never be the same. Lift your hands up to God. Lift your hands up to God. It's a sign of surrender to God. He is here. Holy, holy. I will bless His name again. He is here. Listen closely. Hear Him calling out your name. He is here. You can touch Him. You will never be the same. You know, Paul tells people to lift up holy hands to God. That's why we lift up our hands to God. It's a sign of surrender. In the same place where it talks about that the women are supposed to dress modestly, it also talks about the men lifting up holy hands to God. Now, we would really like to emphasize on the second one growing up, but what about the first one? Where are all the people lifting up their holy hands to God? I've been asked to speak, and while I was seeking God, God told me to talk about destiny. Talk about walking into your God-given destiny. You know, every one of you on this earth has been created, and you've been set down on this earth for a reason, and you're not here by accident. You're not on this earth by accident. Earlier today, we heard about the gifts, how the gifts operate in the church. The apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors, and the teachers, and they're all really needed. Before we get started, I would like to show you something that I experienced this year, and I saw it in a new way. You talk about how a pastor is geared to keep something in, and to keep like a holy huddle, and to keep everyone together, and that's really important. Up in our business that we have, we have a greenhouse, and we had a lot of stuff put in that greenhouse, and there was a time when some of this stuff didn't get planted out, and this here is a cabbage. I got some eggplants. We had some cauliflower. At one point, this thing was full of life. It was full of potential. It was full of what? Of fruit that it wanted to bring out, but it never got out of the greenhouse effect. You know, the greenhouse was really, really needed there for a season, or it would have died, but there was also a point where it never got put out. It was never able to flourish, and the life of this thing is over. It's still alive, but it's never going to bear fruit, and it's barely alive anymore, and that's what's happening in the body of Christ as a whole. There's too much. What's happening is there's pastors running churches, and they're not allowing the people to use their gifts, and they're very needed. You have to keep these young Christians protected, but you can't protect them your whole life. They have to go out, and they have to start giving. They have to start contributing to society, or they're going to die off, and they're never going to bring forth fruit. They can become born again, but they're never going to fulfill the hundredfold that they're called to do, that they're called to be. I'd like to read a couple of verses here in Acts to program our mind a little bit further. How many people in here are preachers? A couple. How many people are preachers? I would like to show you what the Bible says about that. I'm going to read a little bit about how the early church functioned. It talks about how Stephen was stoned here. We'll go to Acts 8. We're going to read in verse 1 to 8. And Saul was consenting unto his death, and at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem. And they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria except the apostles. And devout men carried Stephen to his burial and made great lamentation over him. As for Saul, he made havoc of the church, entering into every house and hailing men and women and committing them to prison. Therefore they that were scattered abroad went everywhere preaching the word. Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ unto them. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them, and many taken with polities and that were lame were healed, and there was great joy in that city. So what just happened here today? It says here in the first verse that persecution came against the church and they went everywhere preaching except the apostles. In our day and age that would mean everybody went preaching except the preachers. If we believe that the apostles are the preachers, that means everybody went preaching except the preachers. How did that work? That's why I believe the body of Christ needs to have a wake-up call. Because if you're not preaching, if you're not sharing the word of God, there's a season that you're protected, but you have to start using your gifts. And that's why the early church was explosive, because they understood this concept. You know here Philip, just so some people would call a lay person, went down to the city of Samaria and he started a church. And he said unclean spirits, crying with loud voices, came out of many that were possessed with them, and many that were lame were healed. Where do we get the mindset that only certain people are allowed to share God's word? As a born-again Christian, as a believer of Christ, you're commissioned to share God's word with others. It's your calling. So how many people are preachers in here? Most of you just might not know it yet. I didn't know it either a few years ago. I thought preaching wasn't for me. You know at one point a couple of brothers asked me, do you want that thing broken off of you? And I thought it was, well I guess if it's not of God, I thought I was. They prayed over me and you know what? After that I figured out I can preach. Anyway. I'd like to talk, another verse that comes to me is 2 Timothy 3, verse 1 to 7. This is verses that we hear a lot growing up. And this know also that in the last times, last days, pearliest times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful and unholy, without natural affection, truth-breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despised to those who are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God, having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses and lead captive silly women, laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now here is 7 verses that Timothy is instructing, Paul is instructing Timothy to be aware of. Ever learning, ever knowing about God, but never coming to the knowledge of the truth. Here in verse 5, this is all people I believe that actually look godly. Verse 5 he says they have a form of godliness, but they are denying the power of God on their life. And he said from such turn away. From such turn away. People that claim to have God, but there is no power and there is no life in them. I believe we do well to understand and to recognize what is going on in our day and age. That we don't become sucked into a system that doesn't even have God. That doesn't even walk in the power of God. You know to know the will of God is the biggest discovery. The biggest discovery in your life. To find the will of God is the biggest accomplishment. But to do the will of God is the biggest achievement. And there are three steps in this. You can know about it. You can find it. Or you can actually do it. My question to you is do you want to do the will of God? Or do you just want to know what the will of God is for your life? And you just want to find out about it, but you never want to accomplish it. It's important. I want to read a little bit in Joshua. I love Joshua 2, verse 1 to 11. Here the children of Israel came out of Egypt. They came to the Red Sea, and the Red Sea opened up to them. And God was trying to take them farther, trying to take them into the Promised Land, trying to get them to believe what His promises were for them. And of those couple million people, I think it was only, what, two people entered into the Promised Land. Only two people. And here came a time when God says, God raised up Joshua, and He said, we're going to enter into what God has for your life. I want to read here in Joshua 2. So Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go, view the land, even Jericho. And they went and came into a harlot's house named Rahab, and lodged there. Why do you think they ended up in a harlot's house? Well, God knew why he was going there, I guess. He was the only one that was open to have them. Anyway, here in verse 2 it says, It was told the king of Jericho, saying, Behold, there came men and hither to-night of the children of Israel to search out the country. And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab, saying, Bring forth the men that are come to thee, which are entered into that house, for they be come to search out all the country. And the women took the two men and hid them, and said, Thus, there came men unto me, but I wist not whence they were. And it came to pass about the time of shutting of the gate, when it was dark, that the men went out. Whither the men went I will not. Pursue after them quickly, for you shall overtake them. And she had brought them up to the roof of the house, and hid them with the stalks of flax, which she had laid in order upon the roof. And the men pursued after them the way of Jordan unto the fords. And as soon as they which pursued after them were gone out, they shut the gate. And before they were laid down, she came up unto them upon the roof. And she said unto the men, I know that the Lord hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you. For we have heard how the Lord dried up the waters of the Red Sea for you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side of Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom you utterly destroyed. And as soon as we have heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man because of you. For the Lord your God, He is God in heaven above, and He is in earth beneath. So what was happening in this setting? Here these people came out of the wilderness, and they were afraid of their whole purpose in life. Only a few were able to actually walk into what God had called for them. And still, here in verse 9 it says, she said that terror has fallen upon them, and all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you. For we have heard how the Lord dried up the waters of the Red Sea for you when you came out of Egypt. And she said, and because of these things our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in man because of you. They were afraid, they were terrified. They were sitting over there, and they were terrified about what was going to happen to them. And here the children, the people that God had raised up, had brought them out of Egypt, were over there afraid of doing what God called them to do. Does that make any logical sense? Of a couple million people, only two were willing to, by faith, to walk where God called them to do. And still the enemy was trembling all this time. And that's today. You have to bring that to language for counting today. The devil is afraid of what's happening. Will you believe? Will you walk in faith? Because I tell you the walls are coming down, and he's shaken up. But you have to believe in order to walk into the destiny that God has called you to. You have to allow that faith to come into your hearts. And you have to allow that faith to be risen up because God has purpose for your life. You're not here by accident. God doesn't need a lot of people. All he needs is people that have faith and that will believe his promises. He had to raise up a whole other generation before he could fulfill what he wanted to because the first group of people did not have faith to walk in what God called them to do. Now I want to flip over into Luke. Luke 17, verse 11-19. What I want to talk about today is forgiveness, faith, and prayer. Luke 17, verse 1-19. We hear these scriptures. And here our headline talks about Jesus teaches about forgiveness and faith. Then said he unto his disciples, It is impossible but that all fences will come. But we'll unto him through whom they come. It was better for him that a millstone was hanging about his neck and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. Take heed to yourselves that if thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him. And if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent, thou shalt forgive him. And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith. Now they understood that the level of your faith is the same level of your forgiveness. If you're willing to forgive, your faith is willing to grow. But if you're harboring on to this bitterness and this anger and this unforgiveness, there's something that the devil starts stealing out. I want to go on reading here a couple more verses. And the Lord said, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the seed, and it shall obey you. But which of you having a servant plowing or feeding cattle will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meet. And will not rather say unto him, Go and make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken, and afterward thou shalt eat and drink. Does he thank the servant because he did those things that were commanded him? I true or not? So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all these things which are commanded, ye shall say, We are unprofitable servants. We have done that which was our duty to do. Then he goes into a story. He goes into a story, into a parable. And he teaches about how faith and forgiveness work together. He says, Jesus healed ten lepers, and it came to pass as he went to Jerusalem that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off. And they lifted up their voices and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go, show yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass that as they went, they were cleansed. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks, and he was a Samaritan. And Jesus answering said, Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine? And he said unto him, They are not found that return, and said, They are not found that return to give glory to God, save this stranger. And he said unto him, Arise, go that way, that faith has made thee whole. You know, the Greek word for offense, when you look this up, is a skandalon, which describes a hunter who lays a trap to catch his prey. And that's exactly what the devil does. When you look at what this word means, it's offense and skandalon run right with each other. Jesus understood that in order for a person to walk into miracles, walk into the fullness, he has to get rid of skandalon. He has to get rid of offense. Because the devil will use offense to stop you from what God's blessing is on your life. And here we have, I would like to just think a little bit. Here Jesus is giving a parable. He says like show and tell time. I'm going to show you what happened to these leopards. And let's go back a little bit and realize what was happening back in that time. When somebody got leprosy, say for instance you're in this church service, and you're a good businessman, you have your whole life together. You have your father's farm maybe, you're a carpenter, whatever. You have a family that you love. You have children you adore. You have all these things together. And you come up and do the church service. And you're praising God. Jehovah Jireh, my provider. You're praising Him. And all of a sudden a little piece of something falls off of you. And the guy behind you sees that. I think Amos got leprosy. So he has to take this man. He goes to the rabbi. This is his best friend. It's like Jonas or whatever. And he takes him. And he says, this man got leprosy. So they take this man out back in the middle of the service. And he's like, take your clothes off. And he does that. And he sees little spots like mosquito bites. And they take him out. And the rabbi makes him put on his, the priest makes him put on his his clothes and start declaring out that he's unclean. In the midst of all this pain, his whole life just got traumatized. His whole life just got destroyed. Everything he was living for, everything he was living for all this time just got taken away from him. He knows he can't even go in and say goodbye to his wife. He can't even go back and say goodbye to his children. And I'm taking you somewhere. This is what these people are facing that Jesus is talking with. This is what they were going through. There's no more hugs for him when he goes that evening. He can't even go and give him one last hug. There's no more games. There's no more story time for his children. All he knows at this point is despair, hopelessness, loneliness, destruction for his own life forever. Here's this man that just got condemned to death. How do you believe he feels? And then he's being taken out of this meeting that he just got done praising God. And he's being taken out of this meeting. He hears his daughter cry out, Daddy, I want another hug. He hears his wife cry out, Don't leave us. He hears all these things and he's taken out. He's taken by his guard and he's taken out. And he is offended. He just thought that he was doing his life for God. And I believe they're offended. They realize that they've become the scum of the earth. They have become nothing. And they're taken out into this valley. Into this valley of lepers. And they're put there. And they're not allowed to do anything but stay there and rot. And rot and rot. That's all they can do. And after a while they're sitting there. And soon somebody hears of these miracles of Jesus. He hears of these miracles that this guy can heal. And he goes to one of his friends. And he says, won't we try to get a catch up with this guy? Won't we try to go up to the road and holler at him? A little bit up the lane. Maybe he'll come down toward us. And he says, nah, he's not going to buy time for us. He don't have time for us. And after a while he keeps trying to find somebody to go with him. And there's always a leader in a situation like that. There's always somebody that believes that somehow he can get somebody out of this. Even though many around him don't believe that. And after a while he comes to the point where he gets ten of them. Ten of them believe, maybe he would actually stop if we would holler at him. But how are we going to know who he is? Oh, he's going to come down this dusty road. He's going to have disciples around him. You know, we're going to watch him when we see a crowd like that coming. We're going to step out of our boundaries and we're going to start screaming out to him. And that's what they did. You know, Jesus came down through. And they went out of their way. They went out of their comfort zone. And they started crying out, Jesus! Jesus! Have mercy on us! The people were telling him, Shut up, right? And Jesus comes up to him. And he heals him. And what was the thing that he told him? He said, Go back to the guy that condemned you. Go back to the guy that condemned you. And tell him you forgive him. He said, That's where he sent them to. Back to the priest. And as they went, they were cleansed. But it says here, verse 15, One of them, after he was healed, turned back and with a loud voice glorified God. And fell down on his face and his feet, giving him thanks that he was a Samaritan. And Jesus answered him and said, We're not ten cleansed. Where are the nine? They are not found that return to give glory to God. Save this stranger. And he said unto him, Arise, go that way, that faith has made thee whole. According to this, there was a blessing the first man got that the others hadn't gotten. I believe he went back there and he made his stuff right. He forgave them for the separation of his family, of his wife and of his children and all that things. And I believe there was a power released. There was a power released that was not released to the others, that were not willing to go there. Because if you become offended, you have to go back and make it right. Or you will never walk into the miracles. You will never walk in your fullness if you're still hanging on to what people have done to you. How many of you here? How many of you watching on air? How many of you have been put out from your families? From your neighborhood? How many of you have been hurt over growing up? And you tried to stuff this pain and you thought somehow you're not going to talk about it anymore. How many of you walking in rejection? And you're asking God to do something with your life. And He's saying, go back and make it right with the people that you rejected. Not saying what they did was right. Jesus didn't say that what this guy did was right. He never said that. But it was about their own life. Going back and releasing them. Going back and saying, look, we forgive you. I forgive you for what you did to me. That would be hard to be separated from all your family. Living there for ten years in bitterness and anger. I'm sure they wasn't down there celebrating. They had to go back. And I believe it's an important step in life. If we want to continue walking with the Lord, we have to go back. We have to go back and make things right. The words that we spoke that were wrong, we have to make them right. It's a principle if you want to walk in the fullness of God. You can go your whole life, the church services, the healing seminars, and all that stuff. But you have to pass the test of scandal. You have to pass that test of offense. You have to go back and make it right. If you're still hanging on to it. You have to let it go so God can use you to the fullest. Which comes back to what I started with. The faith and forgiveness. The way the Bible ties them all together, it goes hand in hand. To walk in your destiny, you have to forgive. You don't acknowledge everything they did was wrong. You can still forgive them. It's not about what everybody else did to you. It's about how you reacted to them. You can still bless them. Jesus was 100% right. He still went to the cross and died the most worst death around. You have to give up your rights. Including the right to be right. You don't even have the right to be right anymore. All you need to do is step in what God tells you to do and you do it. You'll be misunderstood. You could be misunderstood. But it's not about if people misunderstand you. It's about you walking your call and doing what God calls you to do. I also want to talk about prayer. You know, prayer is one of the most misunderstood kingdom concepts. Most people don't realize what they were created for. You know, God does nothing on this earth without man. We can do nothing without God. But God can also do nothing without man. It's a two way thing. He speaks, we reply. And in Genesis it says, I'm going to give man dominion on this earth. I'm going to give man dominion. You know, if he could have came down, if he could have stopped, if he would have dominion on this earth, he would have came down and he would have stopped this skinny woman from taking fruit that's going to destroy all mankind. Why wouldn't he? Why wouldn't he? I mean, if God is all omnipotent and everything else and he's going to let this skinny Eve take this fruit and destroy all mankind. Maybe she wasn't skinny. Whatever she was. Whatever she was. I'm just saying why do we believe see, there's a concept here, God will never come down and do what our job is to do. He got the power, we got the authority. But if you go into prayer and you have no idea why you're praying and you believe God's going to do something and somehow supernaturally come down and just turn everything upside down and you're there, Lord help us, help us Lord, help us Lord, why doesn't the Lord do something once and God's saying, you got the authority and I got the power, do something. But if you don't understand that mindset you're down here wailing and weeping and asking God when he doesn't do anything and God's trying to get you to do something once. I want to read here in Exodus 14 verse 13. Here the children of Israel got taken out of Egypt. And Moses said unto the people, fear ye not, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will show to you today. For the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall see them again no more forever. The Lord shall fight for you and you shall hold your peace. And then the next verse it says, and the Lord said unto Moses work for a cross unto me speak unto the children of Israel that they go forward. What this is telling me here is, here he speaks this stuff out, like prophecy like Steve Stutzman shared, you have to speak stuff into existence for it to happen. So he speaks this out and he runs behind a tree and says Lord, Lord, do something Lord, Lord do something. And paraphrasing according to this verse and God's saying, why are you crying out to me? Speak! Speak unto the children of Israel, go forward! Lift thou up thy rod and stretch out thy hand over the sea and divide it and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground to the midst of the sea. So he needed somebody to stand in the gap and declare it for his power to come down through. So he did this, and whoosh God's power came through and he opened up a way. Now Moses looks like, we're going to go through the Red Sea right there where they're rejoicing. And then they realize then they realize that the Egyptians are coming after them too. And he says they cried out again 26 to 28 and the Lord said unto Moses stretch out thy hand over the sea and the waters which may come again upon the Egyptians upon their chariots and upon their horsemen and Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared and the Egyptians fled against it and the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. And the waters returned and covered the chariots and the horsemen and all the host of fair that came into the sea after them. There remained not so much as one of them. Why did Moses have to declare stuff and have to put his hand out and so forth? Why did Ezekiel have to prophesy in the midst of those dry bones in Ezekiel 37 and tell them to come back to life? Because God needs you. God needs you. And if there's nobody around, how is he going to bring life to this earth? And if the church is living around in this wah-wah state believing that this God is going to come down and do everything and he's trying to find vessels that will speak his heart and that his power can be released. And the devil knew that. That's why he came in the eve. You know, the legal authority to dominate earth was given to humans. God did not include himself in the legal authority structure on earth. He said, let them man have dominion. God chose to make himself illegal on earth. According to Genesis 1, 26 and God will never break his word. It's not that he it's just attributes of God. God will never break his word. He is a spirit. We are a human being. The most important thing that we have on this earth is our body. If we don't have our body we're illegal and we gotta leave. Paul says, I will never die. And he understood that. We're a spirit. We're made in the spirit and if we're in the spirit we won't die. We're gonna have to leave. That's why what you shared today we gotta keep our body in shape. We don't want to eat all this junk food and die prematurely. We want to destroy as many works of the devil as we can while we're here. We don't want to be taken out just because we don't take care of the temple. Like God said, this is our temple. I believe it's also why Paul said to pray without ceasing. Because if you pray the heavens get shut up. Your power that's why people that aren't believers hate prayer meetings. Because if you pray you start declaring and stuff has to open up and the angels get acclimated. And life starts to flow. There's a principle here we need to understand. We need to understand what our rights are on this earth. If we don't understand what our rights are if I go home and there's somebody taking off with my stuff I'm going to tell them to get out of here, right? But if I come in the lane and I see somebody there and I take off as fast as I can 100 miles the other way what do you think the guy's going to do? He's going to take more. So we need to understand what our rights are. If we don't understand what our rights are on this earth the devil's going to keep taking what is actually ours. What God has given to us he's going to take it. Because we don't understand why we were created why we're on this earth. We just think we're here because of just some I don't know. I don't know what some people think while we're here. Maybe just to bring destruction to the earth. I don't know. But you know it gets better than that even. You know Isaiah has a lot of good prophecies. And he saw that there was a you know here the devil came in illegally through the wife, I mean through the serpent and the wife. He knew that if he can come on this earth illegally then he has a right here. And God says Isaiah said he was seeing what God's going to do. You know the word Immanuel on Elohim means God in man. And he understood that God is going to send his son to take back what the devil has stolen from us. So here Jesus is you know another thing we have to understand we don't confuse the child with the son. Jesus is the child. Christ is the son. 100% man. 100% God. 100% legal. To come down and to take back what the enemy has stolen from us. And when you understand that it's amazing how scripture becomes alive. Here's God going to use the same woman that the devil used illegally and he's going to bring himself down. 100% God going 100% man and his power is going to be released. He's going to go back and get back the keys that the devil has taken from us. You know we're called we're called to destroy the works of the devil. What does destroying the works of the devil look like to you? You know in Luke it says that we're going to trample on snakes and scorpions and every work of the devil and nothing's going to stop us. In Mark it talks about our how we need to go forth. You know you are God's secret weapon. You're God's secret weapon that he's going to use to destroy the works of the devil. But you have to have faith and you have to forgive. If there's people in your life that you're holding on to he will not use you if you're tainted. He'll use you to a certain extent but you'll never fulfill the hundredfold. You'll never fulfill the fullness of what God has for you if your life is tainted. For instance holiness is important to God. How many of you here would bake a cake and you'd make the thing 98% right and then you'd put a little bit of dog poop in it. Maybe just 2%. Would you still eat it? I mean it's just 2%. Just 2% it's not that much. I mean it's 98% is right. Why don't God look at my 98% that's right? Why does he focus on my 2% that's wrong? Because if your 2% is wrong it's tainted. And he doesn't like himself being tainted. He has to have pureness and holiness. Whatever happened to holiness in the church of God? Whatever happened for people that desire to have more of God rather than how much can I get away with? How much can I do and still be okay? Whatever happened to holiness? Purity. That's what God wants. That's how the only way he's going to use you to the fullest if you're willing to go there. You know Jesus came down and he went into 100% man 100% Christ came down on this earth and he was walking this earth and the devil had no idea what he was messing with. But Jesus knew what we needed. Jesus knew what we needed to fulfill our destiny that we have. Jesus knew what our calling was and what the tools that we needed back. So he's walking around here as harmless sheep taken to the slaughter. 100% man but the inside of him he was waiting for his chance. And he goes to the cross and he gets crucified for us and then he gets put down in the ground and then 100% of God came up. And he decided he's going to go back into the hell. And he's going to believe they were having a party in hell. They thought they just got rid of a part of Christ. A part of God that was in a person. And he goes back and he takes those keys of death, hell, and the grave and he tears them off and he says I'm going to take them back to my followers. I'm going to take them back to my believers. And in my name they're going to drive out demons. In my name they're going to heal the sick. In my name he says they're going to do these things because I got the authority. And he takes them and he gives them to you. And he says now do it and I'll back you up. He says you got the power I got the power, you got the authority. And it's going to be a beautiful picture. Say it to your neighbor. I got the power, I got the authority. God's got the power. I got the authority. God's got the power. And as we line up with that thing we will see amazing things come forth in our day. Because God's going to use you to transform this community. God's going to use you wherever you go to bring transformation to people's lives. It's like the story of going through town out here. You got this vehicle that can do a couple hundred miles an hour. And you're bogged down to a speed limit of 15. That's all you can do. And there's a cop sitting there along the road and you got places to go. And you want to go. But you can't go because the law of the land is holding you back. So now if you would ask somebody beside you, how fast can I go here? What would they tell you? 15. That's all the faster I can go. But if you would make a call to the manufacturer, what would he tell you you're allowed to go? 300, 200, whatever, right? And that's the whole problem with this society. They're stuck underneath the law of the land. They're listening to what all their critics and what all the people around them tell them they can do. And they're saying, you can only do this, no more. And instead of going to God and God says, no, I got the power. You got the authority. You can do a whole lot more than that. You got 30 times more potential than you or a million times more. Ephesians 3.20 says, I can do exceedingly, abundantly, above all, more than you can even ask for or think of. If you were thinking a lot of thoughts about what God can do for your life, He can even do more than that. You can't even fathom what God wants to do with your life. If you are willing to humble yourself, get rid of offenses, and submit to God, you will be amazed. You will be amazed. You've only touched the tip of the iceberg. Another thing that God's doing. God is bringing His people back together. God is bringing His church back together. Because God's going to have a Holy Bride. There's a golden calf in our day. There's a golden calf in Lancaster County. That is the separation of the churches. That can't fellowship together. And it is an abomination to God and I'm going to declare it. It is an abomination to God. And God told me the other week, He said the demon that's holding our people in bondage is going to come down and He says, our people are going to be released again to prophesy and to speak God's Word. And there's going to be a release. He said, the broken relationships are going to be restored again. And He said, your people will serve me again like your forefathers did. You know, we want to go back to the old age. And God is going to take us back there because of the blood that was thrown. The blood that was put in the ground. And that doesn't make people demons. What I'm saying, I'm not saying people around us are demons. I'm saying there's a demonic force that's holding churches and people apart from each other. Because Satan knows when the body comes together, there's going to be a power released that he can't contain. So if he can fragment them and keep people apart and keep people throwing darts at each other, he can control them for the fullest. You know, there's a man I love. There was this man I love that died. And he had a powerful teaching about a lion. And a powerful teaching about a lion, a story of a lion. He got to go on a cruise. And on this cruise, he went through the jungle. Somebody spawned him on this cruise. He went through the jungle and he saw an elephant take down, he saw a lion take down an elephant. Here was this elephant. As the king of the elephant came through, everything in his way got demolished, got pushed back, got destroyed. And here comes, and this lion sees this elephant coming. 50 times stronger than him. 20 times more powerful. He can destroy him like nothing. And this lion, everything else is scattering. And this lion stops and he thinks, it's my lunch. He's too stupid to realize this guy's going to destroy him if he keeps on going. His attitude is telling him, I'm taking over. That's what makes him the king of the jungle. And he sits there. He's not that stupid that he's going to try to do it alone. So he puts his call out. His call to the pride, to the pack. And soon another lion comes. And soon another one. And soon another one. Till there's a whole ring around this elephant. This elephant also realizes that he is surrounded. You know, if he would have tried to do this alone, he would have got destroyed. Anyway, as they're there, they waited till there was perfect harmony. And then they attacked. One went on this way. One went in from this side. One came in from the back. One came in from the side and the front. And they all attacked at one time. And they jumped up on this elephant. And this elephant swung them around like wet rags for about five minutes. They were swung around, but they refused to let go. They refused. They just hung on. You know, it's an illustration of the body of Christ. There is principalities in this area. There's a body comes together, it's gonna come down. Just like Steve was sharing last night. Of the goddess there in Ephesians. As this body comes together, and they attack, it's gonna come down. But it's also important when the trials come and when the things get strung around, and when you get beat around, that you don't give up. You know, these lions hung on. They hung on till the job was accomplished. And that's our calling. If you look in the Bible, the whole Bible talks about how we're lions, and how Jesus came as a lion of the tribe of Judah. In you is a lion spirit that needs to be wakened up. In you there is a potential that has to be wakened up, because you have so much more than you realize. There's so much more in you than you realize. But you know, you can't do it alone. That's why the body needs each other. And these lions ended up taking this elephant down. But they still didn't start eating. And the guy said, you experience here harder than anyone ever sees. But he said, their unity isn't complete. And afterwards, another big lion came out of the woods. He was like the king of the jungle, with a whole bunch of little ones. And they came up, and as soon as he gave this roar, they all started eating. And this man thought, they were dumb. Why wouldn't this big lion doing any kind of work while all these others were being flung around? And he said, only the females attack. He said, the male sits back there, and he positions the young ones to see the future that they have. And it's a perfect illustration of the body of Christ. You know, we are the bride, and we're called to attack. And he said, the big one sits in the back, and he makes sure nothing comes at him from behind. You know, as we attack, and we go out into the enemy camp, Christ is going to protect us. Christ is going to protect us from all the attacks of the enemy as we're doing the fighting. And there's also an illustration where the young ones were getting ready for their time. They're getting trained. They're getting prepared. And there's so much. There's so much in there. If you go back and you study about how a lion operates, and you're called to be operating the same way. Because God has called us to be more than a conqueror. He sent us an ambassador into this earth to make a difference. And when an ambassador comes into a country, he decides what's going to happen. If China would overtake America, and they would send an ambassador in here, he would tell us what we need to do. And when we get sent to an area, we need to tell the principalities and powers what needs to happen. And there's a principality of unbelief hanging across this canon across our people. And I declare that thing's coming down. Our people are going to walk again in the prophetic. They're going to walk again into the calling that God has for them. Because God is raising up a holy remnant. God will never take defeat. God doesn't understand defeat. It's not in His vocabulary. All He needs is a people that will believe. And that will walk in His promises. In faith. So my question to you, will you walk in what God has called you to do? I'm guessing most of you already know what it is. Will you walk in what God has called you to do? Who will be a Peter to this generation? Who will be bold and to walk out and preach a sermon when everyone else is against them and see 3,000 people come to Christ? Who will be a Paul to go into cities and villages and tear down strongholds and see the body of Christ raised up again? You've been robbed. You've been robbed and it's time the devil pays back. It's time the devil pays back what he's stolen from you. You know, God's raising up a generation of people. God's raising up a generation of people that are going to go across all the world. God's raising up a generation of people who will not take no for an answer from the devil. God's raising up a generation of people who are going to be more than conquerors. They're going to see signs, wonders, and miracles happen because God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. God doesn't change. All we need is a willing vessel. All we need is people that will say yes to Him. Will you say yes to Him today? Are you going to settle for 30%? Are we going to settle for 30% of what God has for our life? Are we going to be allowed? Are we going to allow the devil to come in and take our loved ones, take our neighbors, and take them off to hell forever, burning forever? Are we going to speak God's Word? Are we going to speak with love? Are we going to walk in God's anointing? You know, when Peter walked in God's anointing, the people around him got healed. You know, we have a way to go yet. When Paul walked in God's anointing, they could take a handkerchief out of his pocket and take it to someone, and that person got healed. And God is still the same. God is still calling you. God is still crying out for holiness and righteousness and faith and courage and boldness. That's God saying come. God's saying come, I've chosen you. God says I've chosen you for this time, for this season I've chosen you and I've put you on this earth. And even the hairs of your head are all numbered. God says my thoughts are like the sand of the seashore. And as you continue to walk in your destiny, as you continue to walk in faith, God says I will open up the windows of heaven. Rivers of life will come out of you. You will see my fullness. You will see my goodness. As you speak to those dry bones, even as Ezekiel did when he prophesied, as you prophesy, life will come back into this earth. Because God says I'm looking for holy people. I'm looking for people who listen and speak what's on my heart.
