Revival Is Needed
Scott Hynds

Scott Hynds (NA - NA) He heard the call to the ministry of preaching the gospel around the world. As John Wesley said "the world is my parish" and Scott believes this vision has been passed on to him. In the providence of Almighty God Scott had the great Joy of working in the Roman Catholic community with the elderly. He made sure that these old men and women received the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. He found this experience overwhelming through the love of his master and rejoices in that Christ can set you free from any bondage including deep hatred. Scott recently returned home to Northern Ireland after a few years in Australia as an itinerant Evangelist and Pastor. The Lord has led Scott to plant a church in his home town of Portadown and Pillar Christian Church belongs to the Assemblies of God in Ireland.

Sermon Summary
In this sermon, the preacher emphasizes the fallen nature of humanity and the need for redemption. He believes that the church has become too comfortable and worldly, and calls for a revival to awaken believers from their slumber. The preacher expresses his lack of confidence in man-made programs and instead puts his trust in the Almighty God. He urges the church to be an influence on the world rather than being influenced by it, using the analogy of a police officer getting corrupted by spending too much time with criminals. The sermon concludes with a call for individuals to choose whether they will be like the first son in the parable who initially refuses but repents and obeys, or like the second son who promises but fails to follow through.

And that's really what I want to speak on tonight, is revival. How many people in here tonight want to see revival in this land? Put up your hands. Three quarters, say, of the church want to see revival. Revival, it's not always an easy word to swallow, okay? When we preach about revival, it's confrontational. Revival means sacrifice, it means dedication, it means commitment, and so on, and so on. It's not always an easy message to hear. It doesn't always tickle your ears. I believe God is going to come tonight and really shake us. He's going to come and convict us, because I believe God wants to challenge the church, not just this church, His church as a whole, the body of Christ. Because, you see, if we want to see revival in this land, then there has to be some changes. There has to be some changes. Brent Edwards, a man that wrote about revival, says this, Revival is a remarkable increase in the spiritual life of a large number of God's people, accompanied by an awesome awareness of the presence of God, intensity of prayer and praise, a deep conviction of sin, with a passionate longing for holiness, an unusual effectiveness in evangelism, leading to the salvation of many believers. Revival is a church word, okay? Revival starts in the church, because you can only revive something that has got life. Revival doesn't happen outside where the unbelievers are, okay? Because they don't have life. The scripture says they are dead in trespasses and in sins. You know, back home in Northern Ireland, every 11th night of July, every year, we have bonfires blazing all over Northern Ireland. It's part of tradition and culture. I'm going to stick this guy at the top. He was a trader, so he was to the Protestant people, and so we burn him every 11th night, you know? And these bonfires are massive, you know, 100 foot, you know, they're really massive. And you could see the flames for miles. And sometimes the following day, I've walked past, and there's really nothing left. It's just sort of smouldering. It's almost out. But if you came along and give it a bit of a poke, or maybe blew on it, you would get some life again. You would revive that. And you see, I believe the church used to be like that bonfire. It used to be blazing. There was times in history past where God raised men up, and the church was blazing, and people could see the fire of revival. But I believe today it's smouldering. It's smouldering, but God wants to come and blow upon his people, upon his church. Revival cannot be organized, but we can set our sails to catch the wind from heaven when God chooses to blow upon his people once again. Campbell Morgan said that. God wants us to set our sails. God wants us to set our sails because I believe God wants to blow upon his people once again. You see, revival is a sovereign work of God, although the Bible teaches human responsibility, free will, choice. You see, no flesh shall glory in his presence. Salvation is a sovereign work of God, and I believe that revival is a sovereign work of God, but we can prepare for revival. We can pray for revival. Psalm 85 verse 6, the psalmist says, will thou not revive us again that we might rejoice in thee? That word revive means preserve, rebuild, refresh, animate. I want to talk about those four words tonight, how God does some things in revival and how we need to do some things to prepare before revival. That word preserve means this, to keep from decomposition or decay. We need revival because the church is decaying. That's the truth. That's why we need revival. You see, when a dead body starts to decay, it stinks, and I believe if we don't sort of act out, that's what we're going to be like, stinking. It's been said that when Jesus returns, the church will be without spot or wrinkle. Ephesians 5 24 says this, that he might present it to himself, a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without blemish, that he might present it, that he might, that it should be holy, that it should be holy and without blemish. God's desire, God's perfect desire for his church, but we all know that from the beginning of the church until now, Christians still gossip, Christians still tell little lies, Christians still do things they're not supposed to do, watch things they're not supposed to watch, listen to things they're not supposed to listen to, and so on and so on. You see, we're in fallen bodies. We've got an old nature, and you see, when Jesus returns, that's only when we're going to be redeemed from this fallen body. We are not holy and without blemish. In fact, we are worldly with gaping black holes, wrinkles the size of the Grand Canyon, and blemishes the size of craters on the moon. The church, I believe, for many years has been dressed in silk when it should be dressed in sackcloth. Maybe you're thinking, I don't have a positive outlook. I'm not very optimistic. I'm not. That's why we need God Almighty to come and revive us. That's why we need God Almighty to come and to revive us out of our slumber. I don't have confidence in men's programs. I don't have confidence in what the church can do, but I have confidence in the Almighty God, because with God, all things are possible. All things are possible with our God. Hallelujah. Praise God. The church is like a decaying leper, hiding in darkness within a cave. The unbelievers walk past and can't see it because it's hid. Other unbelievers walk past, and when they see it like a leper, they don't want it. There's nothing attractive about it. In fact, it's full of hypocrisy. One brother taking another brother to court. Another Christian out in the clubs or out in the pubs. That's why the people won't come, because they see the holes. They see the disease that's there. Jesus is the light of the world. He says, I am the light of the world. He that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. We need to come out of the cave. We need to come out of the darkness and get life, because life is in the sun. Life is in the sun. He that has the sun has life. That's what the scriptures tell us. He that has the sun has life. We need to come out. You know, it's been said that we're in the world, but not of it. Sometimes I don't know about that, to be honest with you. We're supposed to be an influence to the world, rather than the world being an influence to us. You know, there's plenty of cops, policemen, maybe in this country, in America. They joined the police force because maybe their older brother died of a drug overdose, a heroin overdose. So they joined the police force, and they've only one desire and one vision, to go after the people that supplied the drug, the drug cartels and their henchmen, and to destroy that. And they set out with good intentions to get transferred, maybe to, you know, undercover. And then they go in to infiltrate the gangs. And then they get inside. And you see, they begin to spend too much time with these people. And you see, if you spend too much time, it's only a matter of time before their influence comes upon you. And after a while, that person starts doing and taking what he swore, swore that he would never do. And it becomes like those people that he tried to destroy. And that's like the church. That's like the church today. We need to come out of the darkness into the light. Because you see, Jesus can heal the leper. That's what the scripture says. He can heal the leper. Psalm 85, verse 4 to 7 says, Turn us, O God, of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease. Wilt thou be angry with us forever? Wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations? Wilt thou not revive us again, that thy people may rejoice in thee? Show us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation. Show us thy mercy, O God. People have said that the church now is like the Laodicean church. When I look at the scriptures and look at the churches in Revelation, we see that we have a lukewarm church. We see we have a rich church. We see that we have a church that permits doctrines of devils. We see we have a church that permits the prophetess Jezebel, false prophetess. I don't think we're the Laodicean church. I think we're all of those churches. I think we're all of those churches. The next word is rebuild. Man, that's good stuff, isn't it? Rebuild means to restore to a previous state. And we need revival because the church has lost its fear of God. It's lost its fear. The church has lost its fear. In Acts chapter 5, Ananas and Sapphira, his wife, lied and tempted the Holy Ghost, and they were struck down dead, struck down dead. And verse 11 says, And great fear, great fear came upon all the church. Great fear came upon those believers because they witnessed the omnipotence of the almighty God, the feared God, because of what they seen. And we need a restoration of fear in this land. We need a restoration of fear in the UK, in Northern Ireland, in America. Now, I've seen a couple of kids walk about with t-shirts saying, Jesus is my homeboy. Jesus is my wee mate, my wee pal. Where's the reverence? Jesus is not our little mate. Nahum 1 5 says, The mountains quake at him and the hills melt and the earth is burned at his presence. Yeah, the world and all that dwell therein. He's not my wee mate. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. The scripture says his eyes are like a flame of fire. He's not my wee mate. He's the King of kings, the almighty God. That's who he is. We've lost the fear. There's no fear in the house of God. We've lost it. And God needs to restore it again. I went and got surgery done on the eye Friday. It was very painful. It was excruciating. And I asked the doctor how it happened, how I got this infection. Two cysts. And he said to me that there's an infection going around and a vitamin C deficiency. And that's why I had this infection. And I believe we have a fear deficiency in the church. A fear deficiency. And there's an infection going around. His name is Satan. And you see, if we don't have a healthy, godly fear, then he will come along and inflict us. So he will. And it will be painful. And it will be sore. You see, being a Christian's not cool. There's nothing cool about being a Christian. The past five years, I have cried my eyes out more than any other time in my life. I've rolled about the floor. I've warred with the devil in the middle of the night. There's nothing cool about that. Nothing cool. God woke me up one night to pray for a friend, to go into warfare, to pray against the spirit of suicide. I spoke to him the next day. And I said to him, have you ever had thoughts of suicide? He says, see, last night, I was ready to hang myself. There's nothing cool about being a Christian. There's nothing cool about Calvary. There's nothing cool about Jesus Christ being nailed to the cross. We need to fear God. We need a healthy fear of God to be restored to his church. We need to fear God because he's God. Amen. Church, come on. We need to fear God because he is God. Jeremiah 5.22 says, fear you not me, saith the Lord. Will you not tremble at my presence? That's the God that we serve. That's the God of the Old Testament and the God of the New Testament. Will you not tremble at my presence? I told this story a couple of weeks ago in the Oaks. Many, I'm sure tonight will be pretty shocked. I'm going to tell this. I was thinking about Chappelle Corby on the TV there recently. I brought back some memories when I left the army over in England. Done my time. I had trophies and all sorts of stuff in my suitcase. So I was going towards customs with trophies in my suitcase and drugs in my shoe. Class A for my own personal use. Didn't have any fear, you know, just walked right up to customs, started to search my case. There was me, you know, brazen, brash. I don't care. No fear. Praise God. They never gave me a whole body search. They just checked the case. But in their presence, I had no fear, even though I had drugs. I think at times some of us can come to church with things in our pockets, with things in our heads. No fear as we come into the presence of our God. We don't fear him anymore. I'm going to come in. I've got this. I've got that. I've got this. But you see, the eye of the Lord is in every place beholding the evil. The eye of God can see into our lives. Friends, I'm preaching to myself here tonight. When I've been going through this, I've been convicted. God has spoke to me. It's for us all. But the eye of God is in every place and we need to check ourselves before we come into the presence of God, because we can carry things in which he doesn't like. Amen. You see, we fear a possible terrorist attack in this nation. We fear a teenage pregnancy. We fear an onslaught of heroin into this land. Some of us even fear the devil. But when it comes to fearing God, it's almost non-existent. When it comes to fearing God, God's a God of grace. God's a God of love. But God's a God of judgment as well. And judgment starts in the house of the Lord. That's what the scripture teaches. Judgment starts here before it goes in to those, to the community outside. 1 Peter 2.17 says, Fear God. Fear God. My nephew came home one day and he was talking about school. He was talking about a school teacher. How a school teacher was like a mate. You know, he's like a mate to all the pupils. And I thought about that. I thought about when I was at school and others my age and older. School teachers weren't your mate. You came to school and you revered them. You respected them because of their title, because of the authority that they had. Now, I mucked about in school. I put my hand up. And I was sent out of class. I was caned. I was disciplined because it was bad. But yet again, I think that some of us can come into the presence of God and come before God like that. He's our mate. And we can get away with anything. God is not a tyrant. But He is a loving Father who will discipline us. He is a loving Father who will chasten us and who will rebuke us. And the scriptures clearly teach that. The title teacher comes with authority and power. But so does the title God. It comes with authority. It comes with power. And we need to revere Him. We need to respect Him. We need to be awe and awe of His holiness. We need to be in awe of Him because He is omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient. He's the Almighty God. The Almighty God. Fear is the beginning of wisdom. So let's be wise in our fear. Let's be wise in our fear. Next word is refresh. Refresh means cool. When a man walks through a desert in the midday sun, he is weak. He's tired. He's lethargic. The only thing that will renew him, the only thing that will repair him, the only thing that will replenish or revive that man is a cool sip of water. Church. The church needs a cool drink of water. The water of the Spirit. Not a sip, but the church needs a good guzzle. That's what it needs today. You see, you watch someone on the TV or at a restaurant drinking a little glass of wine. They're bringing their little glass of wine up to their mouth. Don't want to spill it. They take a little sip, bring it back down again. Then you watch another guy out of broke with his mates. They're egging him on. He's this big schooner full of beer. He's drinking it and there's more good over his clothes than down his throat. He's soaked. He's saturated. And Duncan Campbell, the Scottish revivalist says, revival is a community saturated with God. God wants to saturate his people. God wants to saturate you. He doesn't want you to take a little sip. He wants you to bask in his presence. He wants to soak you. He wants to saturate you. That's what he wants to do. And that's what happens in revival. Revival is a community saturated with God. It's not a community saturated with Big Brother. It's not a community saturated with Johnny Farnham, whoever he is. Not so many jokers are getting tonight. It's not a community saturated with the footy. It's a community saturated with God. Talking about the state of origin. Watched a little bit. I was looking. I thought to myself, Hillsong is not the biggest church in this land. It's that stadium. That's the biggest church in this land. The stadiums, the footy. It's the same in the UK. The stadiums are packed every Sunday for the soccer. And you watch those people. I was watching the state of origin and I could see the excitement when someone scored a try. I could see the joy. I could see the clapping. I could see the jumping up and down. And I thought to myself, maybe we need to do a little bit of that. Have we not got something to rejoice about? Won't they not revive us again, oh God, that we might rejoice in thee? Hallelujah. I want to rejoice because I've been set free. I want to rejoice because the spirit of the living God lives and dwells in me. That's something to rejoice about church. We need to get a little bit excited once in a while. Because when revival comes, some strange things happen. When revival comes, there's a little bit of dancing. When revival comes, there's a little bit of laughing. When revival comes, there's some smiles on our faces. Is that not right? We need to rejoice a little. We need to do a little jumping up and down. We need to get excited. Eve said to me last week when I was preaching, I wanted to say hallelujah. We need to say hallelujah once in a way. We need to say go for it brother. Preach the word of God. Hallelujah. God wants to revive his people. Revival is a community saturated with God. You know I was saying about that guy drinking all that beer. You just picture it in your mind. Him and his mates laughing and laughing as he is saturated. That's what happens. Rejoice with those who do rejoice. Laugh when God moves. People just love it. They just laugh and just are full of the joy of God's presence, of God's spirit. My dad, when he would go to get some petrol for the car, he always only ever put in five pounds, which is about $12.50. He only ever had it a quarter full. He had some money. I don't know where it was. Maybe it was a wee bit stingy. I actually used to do that myself as well. I inherited that trait from him. But let me tell you, he would drive about with his quarter full tank. I want to say today, God's not stingy and God doesn't want his church on a quarter full tank. God wants his church full. God wants his church full to the brim. Filled with the spirit. Saturated. Saturated with his presence. 2nd Chronicles 7.1 says, Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven. That leads me on to my last. Word. Animate. Animate means to move to action, incite or inspire. At the start of Solomon's prayer, he got down on his knees. We need to get down on our knees church. We need to get down on our knees and pray. Because you see, prayer precedes revival. When you study revival, I've studied revival. I've just finished a book on the Welsh revival. Just give it the read tonight. Evan Roberts, man of prayer. He just prayed and prayed and prayed. And the people with him prayed and prayed and prayed. The revival in the Outer Hebrides. Two old women, two old sisters praying and praying and praying. 1859 revival in my country. People praying and praying and praying. Prayer precedes revival. And if you want revival, you need to get to the prayer meetings. We need to come to the prayer meetings and pray for it. You know, we had a prayer meeting for the crusade. It's been postponed. It's now happening in August. But we were praying and there was only a few of us turning up for that prayer meeting. At the end of the day, it's our heart's desire to reach out to the community with the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and see people that don't know him come into a relationship with him because they are precious in his eyes and it should be precious in our eyes, them souls. We should be coming to the prayer meetings. In fact, we're probably going to get that prayer meeting going again. As I said, it's happening in August. Come along. An hour. That's all we ask. In fact, I had a chat with Mick before he left. We were talking about prayer and I think he's going to try and get something going midweek. But what Mick said is true. He said this to me. He says, no matter what day you try to get the prayer meeting on, no matter what hour, people still have excuses or doing something else. It's not right. That's so true. I had dinner with a pastor friend yesterday and he's a church of 50 and he decided to hold a prayer meeting. No one turned up. Just him. That's a disgrace. That's a total disgrace. We're not going to get revival if we don't get our act together. You see, we need to prepare and we need to pray. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Pray. Pray without ceasing, the scripture says. Jesus said this. This is great. I love this. Jesus says, my house is a house of prayer. Not a house of praise and worship. Not a house of preaching. Not a house of dramas. Not a house of little women's meetings and little men's meetings, but a house of prayer. That's strong, but that's what it is. It's a house of prayer and we need to realize that. We need to get that down deep inside us. It's a house of prayer and we need to be coming here to pray. I've been in prayer meetings and it's better than even any Sunday service. As God comes, it's tangible presence of God in many prayer meetings I've been. We need to come to the prayer meeting. We need to pray. Praise God. The disciples in the upper room waiting to be clothed with power continued with one accord in prayer. Prayer. When the murmurings arose also in the book of Acts between the Grecians and the Hebrews about the widows, the appointed deacons, the apostles said we will give ourselves to prayer. Prayer. Prayer. Me and Ray go up the mountain or up the hill every Wednesday morning. 6.30. It's now been changed to 7 to pray for this nation. To pray for Camden. Last week we were praying for Sydney because we could see it clearly. Praying for this nation. Praying for God to come and revive his people. You see, revival happens in the church. But then what happens, it overspills into the community, to the unbelievers and then it becomes an awakening. People become awakened to the spiritual things of God. But we need to pray. We need to dedicate ourselves and commit ourselves if we want revival. Because it costs. It costs our money. It costs our time. It costs friends. Are we serious? Are we just full of horror? That's true. What are we going to do? We're going to take this challenge. Will thou not revive us again that we might rejoice in thee? Jonathan Edwards, the great educator, theologian, American said this and I think this was in his own church because he experienced revival in his own church. The assembly were in tears while the word was preached. Some weeping with sorrows and distress. Others with joy and love. Others with concern for the souls of their neighbors. We need to get our act together. We need to start praying and seeking God. Fasting and praying if we want revival in Australia. Close with this. Three quarters. Put your hands up tonight. Because you want to see revival. Jesus tells a parable. Tells a story. This father calls his two sons. Says to his sons, go into the vineyard. First son says, I'm not going. But then he repented the Bible says and he changed his mind and ended up going. The second son said, I'll go. But then he changed his mind and he never went. Which son will you be tonight? Which son will you be tonight? Will you be the second? Will you put up your hand and say, I want revival and go away and not be changed by this message? It's a hard word. But at the end of the day, friends, that's what revival is all about. And that's what I believe God has called me to preach. I can't get away from it. And at the end of the day, who do I obey? Do I obey a man or do I obey God? Because ultimately, I will stand one day before the King and answer for the gifts and answer for all that he has called me to do. And I will be faithful even when people shoot the messenger. Because I believe I'm a man that has been sent by God with a message. Before I left Northern Ireland, I was sitting waiting in the presence of God. And I heard these words, behold, I come quickly. Behold, I come quickly. I believe Jesus is coming back because his word says it and his word is truth. But I believe God wants to revive the church in Australia, revive the church in Europe and America. He's already doing that in other parts of the world, but I want to be in the midst of it. I want to be, I want to be saturated. I would be on my face in tears. I've had gooses at times. I remember one day, one night, my mum, me, my mum and my mate. And we were praising the Lord and the three of us were bawling our eyes out like babies, the presence of God. It was phenomenal. It was fantastic. That's the sort of heart, our hearts, that will bring in revival. It costs. Let's bow our heads in prayer. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Father, we thank you for your word. Two-edged sword, God. That's what it is. It's a two-edged sword that divides even the sunder of soul and spirit, knows the thoughts and the intents of the heart. Father, you have come with your two-edged sword to us tonight. You have come, Lord God, and you want to awaken your people out of their slumber because, God, at times we're always cluttered with other things and not you. We come here on a Sunday morning, God, and Sunday night we clock in, Father, for an hour and a half and then we go. Well, Lord, I pray that you would touch people in this place tonight, change their hearts, God. Change my heart, Father. Lord God, I want to sit and to wait and to be saturated, God, in your presence because I know, Father, that it's only in your presence is fullness of joy. It's only in your presence, God, I feel complete and perfect and loved and at peace. So, Lord God, I pray for that. I pray, Lord God, that you would call us, God, and continue to call us to a place of prayer and fasting and repentance, that we would humble ourselves, O God, even tonight, Father, that we would humble ourselves before you and cry out, God, that you would come and move in this land. Well, if your head is bowed, if you've come here tonight and you don't know Jesus, what I mean, you don't have a relationship with Jesus, then you're not here by accident. You're here in the providence of God. Maybe God has been speaking directly to you. You felt that I've just been preaching even to you tonight. You're feeling comfortable. You want to go. You feel something happening inside you. That's God dealing with you. That's God calling you. Today, if you will hear his voice, the scripture says, harden not your heart. Don't harden your heart. You see, we are told that the word of God says, my spirit shall not always strive with man. You don't always get another opportunity. Jesus said this to the Pharisees. He says, I'm going to a place. He says, where I'm going, you cannot come. You see, they had their chance and they never took it. And maybe this is your last chance to respond to the gospel of Christ tonight. I implore you, take the gift of God because the scripture says that it's a gift. Salvation is a gift tonight. Don't have to pay for it. Don't have to work for it or do anything, but just, the Bible says, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved in all your house. Is there one person here tonight looking around this auditorium? Is there one person and you want to get right with God? Then indicate to me, just raise your hand so I can see it and we'll pray with you. No? Okay. If you're a backslider tonight, God has spoke to you. Even where you are, just get yourself right with him. Just get your heart right with him. To everyone here tonight that's a believer and you want to see revival, I'm standing before my God now. I'm going to repent for not being switched on, for not praying more, for not seeking God's face. Will anybody in here stand with me and pray for revival? Stand with me. You see, the Bible says one puts a thousand to flight, but the scripture also says two puts ten thousand. Well, how many's in here tonight? Let's be, let's have one heart. Let's pray together with one heart to the living God, to the God of miracles. You see, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. We are his people. We are his children bought with a terrible price. Redeemed by the blood of the lamb and God wants to move upon his people once again. He wants to call us to repentance. He wants to call us to prayer. He wants to call us to worship, to adoration, to adore him who died on the cross, to give him our hearts. Hallelujah. Father, hallelujah. We thank you God for your presence even now. We thank you father for the day and for the hour that you called us out of darkness into the glorious light. We thank you Jesus for the life that we have. But Lord, I pray that you would come and breathe upon us once again. Holy Ghost, great Holy Ghost, come and breathe upon your people. Breathe upon your church, O God, and revive us. Father, repent, O God. I repent, O God, for watching things that shouldn't be watched, for listening to things that should not be listening to, for saying things I shouldn't be saying. God, forgive me and create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me, O God. O Lord God, that you would create in me a holy heart, a heart, O God, that will be set upon you and the things of God. Father, I pray call us up higher, O God. Call us, O God, to repentance and to prayer. Call us, O God, to fast for this nation, to fast, O God, that you would move, O God, into every community, Father, that the revival in this land, God, would move into the communities and a great awakening, O God, a great awakening would happen in Australia. Just like in the 18th century, God, there was a great awakening. Father, we pray for a great awakening in the 21st century in Australia, Lord. Come, O God, and rent the heavens, Father, and blow upon your people. Release your spirit, O God, without measure. Hallelujah. Release your spirit without measure, O God. Saturate us, O God. Bring us to our knees, Father. Bring us to our knees, O God. We humble ourselves, O God, in your sight that you might lift us up. Lift us up, O God, out of our sin. Lift us up, O God, out of our apathy. Lift us up, O God. Lift us up, Father, and use your church once again to be the light and the salt of the earth. O Lord God, raise up your church once again, O God, that many would flee to it because, O God, of the glory. Restore your glory, O God, in the church. Restore your fear, O God, in the church. Restore, O God, your signs and your wonders, Father, that the world may behold and see that Jesus Christ is alive, that Jesus Christ is alive in Australia, in this world, that He is not dead, but He is out of the tomb, and He is alive. Hallelujah. Man, I feel the power of God in here tonight. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Commit ourselves to you, Lord. Father, I pray, O God, your blessing, Father, your anointing, O God, over every single person in here tonight. Stir them up, O God. Blow into their hearts, Father. Individually, blow into their hearts. Ignite, O God. Ignite, Father. Hallelujah. In Jesus' name. Amen. Hallelujah. You know, I just feel that that this was definitely a wording season for us. You know, as I said, sitting there, I felt ill, really sick, and then with this eye, but I feel, you know, even getting up here and starting to preach tonight, I was struggling a wee bit, because I felt like, you know, it's a bit strong, and people aren't receiving it that well, and I was struggling with this sickness, trying to preach, but I felt I've got some breakthrough. God has broken through to some people in here tonight. He's broken through. He's a loving God. He's a gracious God. Let's remember He's God, and He's holy. Amen. Church, be blessed.
