Then of Christ feeding five thousand. After this, we find him walking on the sea, then rebuking the Pharisees for their idea of pollution. We next find him becoming so pop¬ular in his teaching that the world began to ask and to form their opinions as to who he was. Then he asked his disciples who they thought he was. Peter then makes the noble confession, upon the truthfulness of which the church is founded today, that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
After this, we find him transfigured before some of the apostles. Then foretelling his own death. We find him paying his taxes, showing that we should be subject to the government under which we live.
Then he visits the Feast of Tabernacles, after the Feast of Dedication, and arouses much ill feeling against himself for telling the Jews the truth. We find his human nature shown at the grave of Lazarus in weeping with Martha and Mary. Then his divine nature exerts itself in raising Lazarus from the dead.
We then find him selecting seventy more men and sending them out to preach.
Then we see him again visiting Martha and Mary, healing ten lepers, teaching a young man the way of life, speaking again in parables, and giving sight to the blind at Jericho. This ends most of the travels of the Son of God, as the rest of his work is located around Jerusalem.
