Context — The Mountain of the House of the LORD
2And many nations will come and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us His ways, so that we may walk in His paths.” For the law will go forth from Zion and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
3Then He will judge between many peoples and arbitrate for strong nations far and wide. Then they will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will no longer take up the sword against nation, nor will they train anymore for war. 4And each man will sit under his own vine and under his own fig tree, with no one to frighten him. For the mouth of the LORD of Hosts has spoken.Cross References

Micah 4:2 Summary
This verse, Micah 4:2, is talking about a time when people from all around the world will come to worship and learn from God. They will come to the mountain of the LORD, which is a symbol of God's presence, and He will teach them His ways so that they can live according to His will (as seen in Psalm 23:3, where David writes about God leading him in paths of righteousness). This is a beautiful picture of God's desire to have a relationship with all people and to guide them in His ways (similar to what is described in Jeremiah 31:34, where the prophet writes about God putting His law in people's hearts). As we read this verse, we can ask ourselves how we can come to the mountain of the LORD and learn from Him in our own lives.

While the mountain of the LORD can be a literal reference to Mount Zion in Jerusalem, it also has a symbolic meaning as the dwelling place of God, where His people come to worship and learn from Him, as seen in Psalm 48:1-2, which describes Mount Zion as the city of God.
