God has entrusted each believer with unique gifts and abilities, which are to be used for the benefit of others and to bring glory to Him. According to 1 Peter 4:10, every believer has received a special gift, and these gifts are to be used to serve one another. In Romans 12:6 and 1 Timothy 4:14, we see that spiritual gifts are distributed by God's sovereign will, and in Matthew 25:14-30, Jesus teaches that faithful stewardship of these gifts is essential. As believers, we are accountable to use our talents wisely, knowing that our service to others is a form of worship to God, as seen in 1 Peter 4:10-11.

As good stewards of the manifold grace of God, each of you should use whatever gift he has received to serve one another.
We have different gifts according to the grace given us. If one’s gift is prophecy, let him use it in proportion to his faith;

For it is just like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted them with his possessions. To one he gave five talents, to another two talents, and to another one talent—each according to his own ability. And he went on his journey. The servant who had received the five talents went at once and put them to work and gained five more. Likewise, the one with the two talents gained two more. But the servant who had received the one talent went off, dug a hole in the ground, and hid his master’s money. After a long time the master of those servants returned to settle accounts with them. The servant who had received the five talents came and presented five more. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five talents. See, I have gained five more.’ His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Enter into the joy of your master!’ The servant who had received the two talents also came and said, ‘Master, you entrusted me with two talents. Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given you through the prophecy spoken over you at the laying on of the hands of the elders.
We have different gifts according to the grace given us. If one’s gift is prophecy, let him use it in proportion to his faith; if it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is giving, let him give generously; if it is leading, let him lead with diligence; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.
You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a basket. Instead, they set it on a stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.
Whatever you do, work at it with your whole being, for the Lord and not for men, because you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as your reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Whoever does wrong will be repaid for his wrong, and there is no favoritism.
For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. But the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.
