13 Bible Verses on Teachers

13 verses

Those who instruct others in the ways of God are held to a high standard, as seen in Titus, where they are urged to be examples of good deeds and sound teaching. The book of Proverbs emphasizes the importance of training and teaching, noting that the way children are taught will shape their future. James warns that not many should become teachers, as they will be judged more strictly, while Jesus teaches in Luke that a student will become like their teacher. As 1 Peter reminds believers to use their gifts to serve others, teachers are called to steward their role with humility and integrity.
