God's plan for humanity is one of purpose and intention, as seen in Jeremiah 29:11, where He promises to give His people a future and a hope. The Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20 shows that believers have a role to play in His plan, making disciples and sharing the gospel. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope.

For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life.
The LORD will fulfill His purpose for me. O LORD, Your loving devotion endures forever— do not abandon the works of Your hands.
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, to proclaim the virtues of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
For in Him all things were created, things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities. All things were created through Him and for Him.
so My word that proceeds from My mouth will not return to Me empty, but it will accomplish what I please, and it will prosper where I send it.
