11 Bible Verses on Passion

11 verses

In the depths of human emotion, a fervent passion for God is evident throughout Scripture. The Psalmist cries out, expressing a longing to dwell in God's presence, as seen in Psalms 63:1 and 84:2, where the heart yearns for a connection with the divine. This passion is not limited to emotional expression, but is also demonstrated through service, as Colossians 3:23 teaches that whatever we do, we should do it with all our heart, as unto the Lord. Additionally, Galatians 5:24 and Matthew 6:21 guide believers to prioritize their desires, surrendering earthly passions to pursue a deeper love for God.
