16 Bible Verses on Money Management

16 verses

Scripture teaches that responsible handling of finances is essential for a life of wisdom and faithfulness. According to Proverbs, borrowing and debt can lead to slavery, while honoring God with one's resources brings blessing (Proverbs 22:7, Proverbs 3:9). In the New Testament, Jesus emphasizes the importance of careful planning and consideration in financial decisions, as seen in the parable of the tower builder (Luke 14:28-30). The apostle Paul also encourages contentment and trust in God's provision, rather than in wealth (Hebrews 13:5), and Jesus teaches that faithfulness with material possessions is a prerequisite for true stewardship (Luke 16:11).
