18 Bible Verses on Love Lost

18 verses

When believers drift away from their devotion to God, a deep sense of loss and longing can occur. The Apostle John notes that those who depart from the faith were never truly part of the community, as seen in 1 John 2:19. However, God's love remains constant, and He provides a way back through prayer and trust, as Jesus teaches in Matthew 21:22. In times of struggle, 1 Corinthians 10:13 reminds us that God is faithful to provide a way of escape, and 1 Peter 5:7 encourages us to cast our anxieties on Him, while 1 Thessalonians 5:18 exhorts us to give thanks in all circumstances, trusting in His goodness.
