15 Bible Verses on Iniquity

15 verses

Sin and rebellion against God are deeply rooted in human nature, as acknowledged in Psalms 51:5, where David confesses his inherent sinfulness. The Lord Himself declares in Exodus 34:7 that He will by no means clear the guilty, emphasizing the need for accountability and repentance. According to 1 John 1:9, confession and forgiveness are available through Jesus Christ, offering a path to cleansing from unrighteousness. Ezekiel 18:20 and Matthew 7:21-23 also warn that each person will be judged for their own actions, highlighting the importance of personal responsibility and a genuine relationship with God.
