11 Bible Verses on Hopeless

11 verses

In times of desperation and sorrow, the Bible offers comfort and assurance. Psalms 34:17-20 reminds us that God is near to the brokenhearted, rescuing those who are crushed in spirit. The apostle Paul encourages believers to bring their anxieties to God in prayer, as seen in Philippians 4:6, and to trust in His power to overcome them, as expressed in Romans 15:13. Ultimately, Jesus' promise of peace, as recorded in John 14:27, and Paul's embracing of weakness, where he finds strength in 2 Corinthians 12:9, demonstrate that even in hopelessness, God's presence and power can bring transformation and peace.

The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. And if we are children, then we are heirs: heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ—if indeed we suffer with Him, so that we may also be glorified with Him. I consider that our present sufferings are not comparable to the glory that will be revealed in us.
