11 Bible Verses on Grandchildren

11 verses

The Bible teaches that grandchildren are a precious blessing from God, bringing joy and delight to their families. In Proverbs, it is written that grandchildren are the crown of the aged, and a good person leaves an inheritance for their children's children, as seen in Proverbs 13:22 and 17:6. The Psalms also celebrate the blessing of grandchildren, with Psalms 128:6 expressing the hope that one's children's children will be around one's table, and Psalms 103:17 noting the Lord's love extends to a thousand generations. According to Deuteronomy 4:9, grandparents have a significant role in passing on their faith and values to their grandchildren.
