13 Bible Verses on Declarations

13 verses

In the biblical tradition, declarations are powerful statements that affirm God's truth and promises. As the people of God, believers are called to proclaim His excellencies, as seen in 1 Peter 2:9, and to speak forth His Word with confidence. The Scriptures themselves are described as being "breathed out" by God in 2 Peter 1:21, and are thus a foundation for our declarations, guiding us to speak life and hope into our circumstances, as in Job 22:28. Through declarations, believers can overcome fear and doubt, embracing the power and love that comes from God, as noted in 2 Timothy 1:7, and trusting in the authority of Scripture, as taught in 2 Timothy 3:16.
